Vacation rentals in Lihavanpää

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful, open yet private place. It’s the perfect getaway if you’re looking for peace, nature, and a bit of luxury. The surroundings are incredibly calm and beautiful, a true escape from the noise of everyday life. One of the highlights was the little squirrel who visited us every day. We even gave him a name: Kaspery. The house itself is beautifully designed, with two saunas and direct access to the lake, ideal for a refreshing dip after a sauna session. There were plenty of towels provided. The bedrooms were lovely, with enough closet space and comfortable beds. The living area featured a nice fireplace, making the evenings extra cozy. The kitchen was well equipped, with everything you could need to cook, including sharp knives, a coffee maker, and all essential utensils.A special thanks to Markus, who was an outstanding host. He always responded quickly and friendly to any question. He even let us know when the polar lights were visible.

Lea is a lovely host - very welcoming, warm, friendly, accomodating, easygoing and flexible. I had no issues whatsoever with her or my stay in her house. The house and her property by the lake is just gorgeus, the view is so calming and beautiful to look at. She takes great care of her garden too. I found the house having a very peaceful energy to it, I felt very relaxed there. The only slight downside for me personally was the double bed itself in the bedroom I stayed in. The mattress felt as it had seen it's better days, didn't feel quite firm enough for me, but then again this might not be an issue to other guests at all. I personally happen to have certain back issues and a good bed is something that's very important to me (I had forgotten to ask about the bed prior to my trip). I spoke to Lea about it after my first night and she was just wonderful with the whole thing as with everything else - didn't get triggered or provoked at all. She offered one of the other rooms to me as the single beds are firmer and that I could pretty much choose freely what ever works for me best as I was the only guest in the house during my stay. I found her to be very easygoing and just lovely in every way. I had some very nice conversations with Lea as well and we shared some great laughs too. She was also very kind to me, for example when it rained hard upon my arrival and my only shoes had gone soaking wet, she offered to dry them in the sauna for the next day. Also on another day when it kept raining, she offered me her own rain coat and rain boots so that I wouldn't get wet as I was taking part in the music festival as a singer and getting sick would have been very unfortunate. She also allowed me to practise freely in the house. Brewing a cup of coffee in the morning and the use of basic condiments such as salt and pepper while cooking in the kitchen was also included in the price. I am very pleased with my stay at Lea's beautiful home. She was a superb, fun host and seemed like a wonderful humanbeing overall. I felt great in her house and have no complaints about her whatsoever.

Muutaman yön vierailu sujui Vääksyssä 10/ 10. Majoitus oli juuri sitä mitä esitteessä luvattiin, ellei jopa ripauksen parempi. Saunaaa, poreallasta vilpolaa yms. Suosittelen lämpimästi tätä kohdetta. Voisin kuvitella, että kesällä pari yötä tässä kohteessa saattaa jopa jäädä liian lyhyeksi visiitiksi.

Our stay in at Villa Kurlikampi was perfect - the house and surroundings were beautiful and we were lucky to see it in the snow and the sun. We even saw the aurora from the hot tub! Henri and Heidi were very communicative and the house had everything we might need. Felt very private but was easy to find and very accessible to Mikkeli for shops etc. We had a lovely week and would thoroughly recommend this place. Thank you!

Hieno erämaahenkinen mökki upeassa rinteessä kirkkaiden vesien äärellä. Lapin tunnelmaa etelässä. Tullaan varmasti uudelleen!

Beautiful timber house in the woods, with own access to Lake Saimaa. Though close to Mikkeli centre and all of its facilities. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda, watching the great view. Go there, you will not regret it.

Wir hatten außergewöhnlich schöne und entspannte Tage in der Unterkunft! Eine tolles Erlebnis mit einem wunderschönen See und der verschneiten Natur direkt vor der Haustür. Unsere 3 Familien mit kleinen Kindern hat wirklich jeden einzelnen Tag genossen. Von der gut ausgestatteten Küche angefangen bis zur schönen Sauna. Unsere Kinder wären am lieben geblieben…das ist sicher ein gutes Zeichen! ☺️

Wunderschöne Hütte mit allem, was man braucht. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.
