We rented the cabin as a starting point for hunting, and it was a perfect starting point for that, or other mountain hikes without hunting. The cabin is nice and has all the amenities that make it easy to get home after a day in the mountains. The view from the cabin is beautiful. Ingrid was very nice and responded to all the questions we might have :)

Amazing location, nestled right in the forest. It’s a big area with lots of smaller buildings which are great for big groups, but also work for just a few people. We were two adults and one dog and didn’t feel like the place was too big for us. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful, if you stay there for more than one night I would recommend exploring the area.

There is a short distance to the sea, with the possibility of swimming and fishing. In the vicinity there are several hiking trails and nice areas for outdoor activities. The cabin has a dry toilet in a separate annex, shower, heaters and fireplace. The nearest grocery store is about 10 minutes drive away. A good starting point for both quiet days and active excursions.

Idyllic small carpentry hut in scenic surroundings, central and undisturbed in Lierne's wilderness. Location by Laksjøen, close to Østre Brandsfjell. Car road. Easy studio cabin on the seat tunnel to the south seat with simple standard . 4 beds (2 bunk beds), kitchenette, wood burning, gas oven. No running water or electricity. Outdoors and washing wall with cold water in the yard. Sauna, hot tub (at extra charge), boat and barbecue areas.

If you want to stay in the middle of the wilderness, yet quite close to parking, this is in the middle of nowhere. Good starting point for mountain hikes and experiences in the mighty nature of Lierne, as you have Østre Brandsfjell right up the cabin, and there is open and untouched terrain with old forest nearby. No other cabins nearby so here you will definitely get a wilderness feel. Jan Bjørnar is reliable and easy to communicate with. Recommend it here
