A great place and great home with everything you might need! So quiet and peaceful, and with fantastic terrace to enjoy the days and evenings. Deer wandered the fields around, and so pleasant with the visit of the kind dog in the neighboring house on the garden with its soft fur. Welcoming host who was pleasant to communicate with. I brought a bike, and nice scenery to bike in, e.g. out to Lake Vänern. Highly recommended!

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

Had a great stay. House is more spacious than the pictures suggest and as beautiful as the pictures. Beautiful quiet area with lots of nice coffee shops and attractions a short distance away. A lot of walks possible in the neighborhood. We stayed here with our daughter of 1 and everything was thought of (chair, cot, toys)
