Vacation rentals with lake access in Lidköping Municipality

Great accommodation for larger groups. Great with sleeping places, social areas and great kitchen.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The house is spacious both inside and out, offering plenty of room to relax. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need for cooking. The view of the lake is beautiful, and the location is convenient for exploring nearby spots. One thing to note for non-Swedes: the closest 24-hour shops require a Swedish bank id for access, so we did all of our shopping in Lidköping. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay—highly recommended!

If we could give more stars we would! We had a lovely time at Christina and Karin’s Airbnb. It’s a small cosy cottage with a bed, a table and chairs and the things you need to have a meal. You can’t really cook, but there is a microwave. In a separate cottage there is a nice clean bathroom and a fridge and freezer you can use. Christina and Karin gave us a warm welcome and offered us the option to buy breakfast and dinner, made by Christina who has been working as a cook. We chose the breakfast and would definitely recommend doing that! Because it was raining we could have breakfast in their veranda. It was lovely to sit there, with a view of the lake, a heat lamp and yummy breakfast. Even their sweet little dog came to sit with us (they keep her inside if you wouldn’t like that). We had some lovely conversations with them and really felt so welcome. If we’re ever in the area again we’ll definitely come by again! Thank you so much Christina and Karin!

Per’s home is lovely, warm, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The view of the lake is amazing, along with the large yard and beach. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. We enjoyed the walking paths and beaches accessible from the home. Per is a great host; quick responses and he was a pleasure to communicate with. We hope we can come back and visit again.

We went in Summer '24 with our two kids (2 and 8). Incredible Swedish island feeling and enough to explore for a week. Enjoyed boat trips, hiking on the island, picking blueberrys etc. Espen and Elen are lovely and help in any way they can. Thank you!

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

Had a great stay. House is more spacious than the pictures suggest and as beautiful as the pictures. Beautiful quiet area with lots of nice coffee shops and attractions a short distance away. A lot of walks possible in the neighborhood. We stayed here with our daughter of 1 and everything was thought of (chair, cot, toys)

Perfect for a family with (small) children because of the garden and no traffic. Large rooms in a Swedish vintage style. Fully equiped spacious kitchen. Skara Sommaland, city of Lidköping and Låcko castle within half an hour drive. Go-Karts in Lidköping is also recommendable.
