Non smoking. We aren't set up for heavy cooking. No stove.

The Hen House Cottage is a tiny house located on an historic farm in central Maryland. It is surrounded by six acres of beautiful pasture and gardens. The Cottage has great light throughout the day, a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, coffee grinder, coffee maker, large fridge, etc.), a full bathroom (with shower), a sleeping area with a comfortable queen-sized bed, dedicated (free) wi-fi, a smart TV, blue tooth sound system, and an eclectic library. Welcome to Poole House at Friendship Farm! Escape to the country at this historic stone house built in the 1700s. With accommodations for eight guests it is perfect for a getaway with friends and family, wedding parties and work retreats. The house received a meticulous restoration that includes all mechanical systems and a modern addition with a gourmet kitchen and master bedroom. The property also includes a three car garage as well as a restored smoke house and log cabin.

We have a new larger tent for 2026! Queen size bed. We have also added a sauna to our retreat. Rest and recharge at this beautifully landscaped glamping retreat. Enjoy quiet moments of zen in the meditation garden, awake to the birds and butterflies, float the afternoon away in the pool or enjoy stargazing in the hot tub at night.
