Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Liberty County

1071 Talquin Ave is a gem of an AirBnB. The host, Kimberly, thought of everything that people may be seeking in an AirBnB stay with children or with parties of 4-5 persons. The kitchen was fully stocked (& had extras too like snacks!) coffee machine with Keurig coffee cups, toaster oven and plenty of cookware /utensils as well as dry ingredients. The rooms were all so artfully and thoughtfully decorated. Room temperature comfortable throughout the entire house. Everything clean, orderly with beautiful decor to boot. There were so many extras about this property that we didn’t even have time to use! But the soul-mending garden outside was perhaps the loveliest perk of already peaceful grounds. We have family here in Quincy, FL, so the next time we come down to visit them we’ll definitely be looking to stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying here. The inside was so well put together and the bed was very comfortable. Such a beautiful place to rest and relax. Even though we did not fish, it would be a dream spot for someone who wanted to bring their boat, kayak, or fish from the dock. We enjoyed the outdoor area and cooked out on the charcoal grill. Melissa was a great host and responded promptly. Already thinking about our next visit.

We had a quiet, relaxing, and enjoyable stay over Thanksgiving! Susan and Michael were very responsive. They provided photos of the kitchen items so I could better plan for our Thanksgiving meal. They quickly took care of an unplanned utility issue with minimal disturbance to our stay to make things fully functional. The beds were comfortable and linens we clean and soft. The entire house was very clean with a fully functional kitchen. We enjoyed playing the 80s video games on the Packman video machine. Our dogs enjoyed the small fenced in dog area for safe potty breaks. And the view of Lake Talquin was just beautiful! We had a great day visiting Wakulla Springs. Recommend making reservations for the boat tour online well in advance. The Dollar General is just a few mile down the street was well stocked for last minute necessities. We would definitely consider staying here again.

I booked this last minute for my kid who is hiking the Florida Scenic Trail (it passes by close to here) and it was the perfect place for them to take a night off and sleep in a real bed, after a nice hot shower. Whitney was genuinely concerned about our hiker kid not having any, or enough, food and offered to grab them something on her way back in from town. She was very friendly and communication was excellent. check in was simple and easy too. Our hiker kid was very impressed with the unit and said the place was very well done and they would definitely stay there again if in the area. The property surroundings were very private and full of natural beauty.

we had a great time relaxing at lake talquin! the house is very roomy and has everything you need for a great stay! a couple things to know before you go is the listing says keurig coffee machine. so I bought keurig cups for our trip but then there was not a keurig coffee machine. it was just a regular type. but it was no big deal because Melissa had plenty of coffee available for us at the house. also, the house is off a dirt/rock road which for most people isn't a big deal but my husband is a car guy and hates dirt roads lol. I definitely wish I'd known before hand because we woukd have brought a different vehicle had I known. overall we had the best time and would definitely book again! Melissa communicated well. she even brought us firewood for the fireplace which we were not expecting! so thankyou for your hospitality!

it was just a weekend Getaway. It's a beautiful location very peaceful. The home is so lovely and inviting very comfortable for 6 people. We were 4 adults. The screen in porch & dock is a plus forsure. If you have the opportunity to go, just do it! We truly enjoyed our stay. Thanks Jason!

Great spot to spend the night. close to Gadsden CI where we do a reentry fair quarterly. Bed was comfy. The loft was cool, but for someone who has to use the bathroom at night it may be a challenge. Love the small details.

We had a great time on the lake. The view was amazing and there was plenty of wildlife activity to keep us entertained. Once the sun started setting, we had to move inside though due to the mosquitos. The house was quaint and cozy but had everything we needed. Danny was very communicative and available if there were questions or issues. I would definitely stay in this location again.

the place is just amazing quiet and peaceful surroundings.. kids enjoyed fishing from dock on the lake .. house was laid back and has everything u need rite there .. kavon was always checking in to make sure we were fine and didn't need anything.. it snowed well we were there added bonus for sure .. we will definitely be back next year ..best place around for sure ... if u want peace and relaxation and a place to fish and close to Tallahassee this is the place for sure ... thanks kavon again for making our stay perfect
