Can not recommend David’s apartment highly enough . Fantastic location right next to Palais De Beaux Arts in a very quiet street . Close to old town and lots of nice restaurants and cafes . The apartment itself is really comfortable with beautiful furnishing and art work and we really enjoyed the time we spent in it . Only caution is that it is up 2 flights of stairs which would be difficult for someone with mobility issues . David was responsive and really friendly in all his communications with us . Will be recommending the apartment to friends and we hope to come back ourselves soon . One of the nicest places we have stayed

Mind: Overall, everything was absolutely perfect: the welcome, the cleanliness, the location, the decor… No complaints, it was really a great experience! The only small downside — but it didn't affect our stay — is a slight leak in the shower in the bathroom. Nothing serious, but to report so that it is even more perfect for the next guests. We spent a short weekend at Yvonne's place. A very friendly, welcoming, warm host!!! I was able to do my EVJF there, enjoy this quiet and very beautiful setting. The space is impeccable! Yvonne thinks of everything (bathrobes, slippers, cups for hot tubs...) little details that make you happy. We loved it! We had company with Roy the dog we loved too and played well with😂. Yvonne helped us find the most beautiful spots for our photos. Thank you Yvonne for hosting your flower on Sunday mornings.!! Thank you so much.

Perfect base for a trip around the WW1 battlefields, so much to see and all so do-able from here. The peace and quiet was perfect and the sunsets sat on the deck on an evening with a drink were to die for. We were extremely lucky with the weather, the cottage had all we needed and was very private indeed.

The unit offered everything we needed and was very spacious. Had all the amenities that we required for our stay. Was extremely close to the train. The description of the unit was very accurate and there were no unexpected surprises. My second stay with a small group of us at L'Escapade. The place is really well equipped and comfortable. We like the private parking, Sandrine and Julie make you very welcome and communicate really well. Viollaines is quiet but has a nearby supermarket and there are shops and restaurants just down the road in La Basse. Roubaix and Lille are both near and this is a great spot to base yourself for those. Recommended.

Absolutely nothing to say, the accommodation is as described, clean, practical and quiet, very pleasant neighborhood with many things to do in the immediate vicinity (bars, restaurants, food shops, Citadel Park) while being able to reach the historic center in 10 minutes by foot. We had a 2 year old child who also had a nice stay (bed and high chair). Guarded parking 5 minutes walking in the park, otherwise possible on the street just in front.
