Authentic sheepfold, family, free, center NL

The old sheepfold has been transformed into a modern guest house for families, located in the scenic landscape of the Gelderse Vallei, at a good distance from the farmhouse. The authentic character has been preserved with wooden beams from 1758 and a partially thatched roof. Overlooking old oaks and a young forest. OLED TV and good WiFi (fiberglass) available as well as a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The sheepfold is insulated, with double glazing and is heated by underfloor heating.

Verscholen in de bossen van Soestduinen, op het Landgoed de Paltz ligt de Barn. Deze van oorsprong oude schuur is nu een sfeervolle vakantiewoning en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Hier kun je genieten van de bosrijke omgeving en de idyllische, rustige sfeer op het Landgoed. De aanwezigheid van de paarden op het terrein draagt bij aan de landelijke sfeer. Our B&B is equipped with all modern facilities such as a modern kitchen, Philips Hue lighting, smart TV and Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxury Jacuzzi and wood stove. The B&B with large private garden and unobstructed view is completely shielded from the farmhouse by a fence and is only accessible to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you can look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast of your choice is optional.

In a beautiful green location, detached modern cottage, 15 min walk from center/station. You have access to a bedroom/living room with a double bed (1.70) on the loft. In the sitting area, there is a work/dining table for 2 people, cozy fireplace and a sofa bed for guests who prefer to sleep on the ground floor (1.80). Private spacious bathroom with shower, sink and separate toilet. Fridge and stove (2 burners) available. The cottage is located on private property with ample parking.

The large space is cozy and comfortable, a lot of attention is paid to the special interior. Ideal for family or group stay. Plenty of space for conviviality, or to find your own quiet spot. The pony can go for a walk, and on request, a ride can be made on the big horse. In the group room, there is a bedroom (2 people), sleeping loft (2), six single beds. In the super cozy gypsy wagon (2 people), your pet is allowed, can be booked on request.

In the twilight, you regularly spot deer, rabbits and sometimes a fox.

Windmill Maurik Betuwe Gelderland

Our beautiful windmill was built on the remains of a medieval castle in 1873. In 2006 the mill was fully renovated. You will have a comfortable stay in the mill which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Maurik is a charming village, very centrally located between larger cities like Utrecht, Den Bosch, Arnhem and Nijmegen. The area is very suitable for cycling, hiking and swimming.
