Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Les Avanchers-Valmorel

We had a wonderful week's vacation with my wife and 9-year-old son in Anne's home. Everything matches the listing and photos. The accommodation is very well located between 3 ski resorts (Manigod, La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand about twenty minutes away), Annecy is very close too so plenty of activities to do nearby. We'll be happy to go back, I highly recommend it.

Very nice house, spacious, clean and pleasant with views of the snow-capped peaks. An exterior conducive to rest in the sun. Beautiful area with beautiful walks, beautiful scenery. Communication with Sarah is very easy. Everything was perfect during our stay!

We really enjoyed staying in this house. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. All our needs were thought out and fully met. The kitchen had everything for cooking and the seating area was quite comfortable. The location was also quite good; we had a pleasant time in a quiet and peaceful environment. The host was also extremely kind and communicative, quick to help with everything. The only thing missing was a hair dryer in the house.

Visited with friends for cycling, was perfect location for the nearby famous climbs, house well equipped to cater for cyclists with space for bikes, tools are provided etc. Loads of space. Quite quirky collection of stuff in the house. Communication with Emma was really easy and quick, thank you Emma!

We only spent one night at Celine's and everything went very well! The accommodation is comfortable, clean, easy to access and in a beautiful setting! We really enjoyed staying around the lake which is right next door! It's beautiful!

A lovely house and garden in a smart, quiet residential neighbourhood only a few minutes walk to Lake Annecy. All facilities very well appointed and beautiful interior. Would highly recommend.

Accommodation on the ground floor of a house, very well equipped, in a soothing setting. The hosts are very friendly and available. We will come back without hesitation if the opportunity arises.

Had a great time, super Airbnb for staying a couple of days in Megève. Arrived late and was easy to find and acces. Really recommend especially with a fully ecquiped kitchen and a nice spa. Thank you for the stay.

We had a wonderful week at Camille's place. The chalet is clean and well situated with a gorgeous view of the ski mountain. We were two families (4 adults and 2 kids total) and had more than enough space for sleeping, eating and lounging. We used the free shuttle bus to get the kids to ski school and could easily walk into town for dinner. Very much appreciated the little Sherpa grocery and abundance of ski shops right in front of our door. Camille is a very responsive host, and wrote us back almost immediately when we had questions. It was hard to leave, and we hope to return next year! Highly recommended!

Spacious, clean and functional accommodation, consistent with the photos. Ideally located for a break in the countryside, between the mountains and Lake Annecy, offering superb landscapes. Very good advice from Cathy for beautiful hikes from the cottage. Excellent welcome from Cathy, very caring, and special mention to her husband who showed us the entrance to the cottage on arrival with a lot of humor. Don't miss the homemade reblochon cheese sold right next door at the farm restaurant. An exotic and invigorating stay! I highly recommend it!

Very pleasant stay in this apartment ideally located for skiing. The location is perfect, minutes from the slopes and shops. The apartment is well-equipped, clean and warm, with beautiful mountain views. After a day of skiing, the comfort of the living room and functional kitchen are appreciable. Overall, a great choice for a ski trip!

A perfect and refreshing stay! Great bedding! Renaud is a responsive host, the instructions were very clear and accurate. The apartment is cozy, warm and quiet! The view of the mountain , an enchantment! The slopes are accessible from the parking lot to reach the Transval and the Combe des mares chairlift! We were lucky, it was just what it needed like snow! Wow what a wonderful holiday. We had a fantastic time. The house was lovely with a great outdoor area and pool. It was very peaceful but not far from the town centre (5-10 min walk). There you could find a boulangerie, small supermarket and several restaurants. You could walk to the lake in about 10 - 15 mins. We did not bother hiring a car. Instead we hired bicycles for some of the holiday. We also did lots of walking. It was very hot but fortunately we had aircon in the house. I would definitely go there again. We previously stayed in Annecy but this was more relaxing. It took about 25 mins to cycle to Annecy and you can almost exclusively do this on cycle paths. The hosts were extremely helpful even though they were on holiday in Brasil as we had one small issue with the power that they managed to quickly resolve.

Benjamin's place was all we were looking for during kids' winter break: spacious enough for 2 families, great location and comfortable with all needed amenities. Location could not have been better: only 5 min drive to ski lifts & Megeve center, only 20 min walking distance to Megeve center with near-by shops for daily groceries. Benjamin was also very responsive and proactive, enabling us to have a very smooth check-in. We would definitely recommend and would like to come back again!

We had a wonderful Christmas vacation. Marianne was very thoughtful with a tree on when we arrived, the kids were thrilled! Everything was impeccable in the house which is very spacious. There were 7 of us including 3 children and two more small dogs and we didn't walk on them, everyone could have their own space. Close to the St François longchamp ski resort 30 min away, recommended by Marianne. Great for teaching kids skiing And finally the point that was most important for us was to find a house that accepts dogs ( and it's increasingly rare), again a big thank you to Marianne.

The accommodation is great. The bedding is of quality. Many activities are offered in the accommodation for both adults and children. Perfect host interaction. We recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay! Everything worked out great. The lake is always worth a trip and leads you to dream :) Large windows in all directions bring maximum brightness and a great view.

We spent a week at the end of February with six of my friends. We were very well hosted, in person, by Mrs. Favre. I have received simple and clear instructions on the use of the property and its amenities and am satisfied with the interaction I have had. The house is very comfortable and there is, indeed, no hot water problem. The temperature remains constant even without a fire after the sunset. Amenities work well and the kitchen is provided enough to help prepare small dishes. In conclusion, this house allowed us to have a beautiful week, thank you again!
