Family-friendly vacation rentals in Les Abymes

We had a wonderful stay at Lawrence’s place as a family with 3 kids and 1 grandparent. The view is just magnificent! The town of St-Anne and it’s beach are not far away and bigger grocery store Leclerc is at 20mins.

My stay at the Gîtes de la Réserve was excellent at every level! Naïdy is welcoming and very kind, I was able to discover some new Guadeloupe spots that I did not know thanks to her recommendations! The cottage is ideally located in Basse Terre with breathtaking views from morning to night (sunset guaranteed over the Cousteau reserve). The listing is as described with garden and jacuzzi available. Not far from a crossroads and leader price, not far from local fruit and vegetable sales and nearby restaurants (Bouillante and Malendure). If I return to Guadeloupe, I will be sure to come back to this area. 😃 See you next time, Naïdy!

Very beautiful and typified accommodation, with a magical tropical garden. Very friendly hostess, both discreet and present when needed. We had a great time, everything was there for our well-being.

Very nice, brand new and well-equipped accommodation. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful covered terrace outside where we had all our meals. Very nice view of the Cousteau reserve. The hot tub is perfect for the end of the day, not overlooked. We found a pathway to Malendure beach with the explanations given by Yves. The best part is that we were able to swim with 2 turtles. I would not hesitate to rent this place again if I had to come back to this beautiful part of the island 🤩

Very nice accommodation with a beautiful garden and sumptuous decoration. All the little touches are very much appreciated and Françoise and her husband are very warm, responsive and welcoming.

We just left Paradise! Honestly, what Olivier & Renaud have created is nothing short but "Paradise". Our treehouse "the Explorer" was super nice, clean and beautifully decorated. We felt right at home. The welcome was very kind and communication throughout was perfect & quick. Both speak English very well and are honestly the loveliest, trustworthy guys and give you the best recommendations for foody places but also dive schools etc. which we happily used and can now also vouch for. We stayed for 2 nights and would have liked to stay longer. Well, there will be a next time for sure. Thank you, Olivier & Renaud - for sharing your beautiful home with us - it was a pleasure to meet you! ;-)

We had a great time, the accommodation is really nice with a beautiful garden, we felt like we were staying in the forest! Patrice is a welcoming and accommodating host, he explained everything there was to visit. The place was comfortable for us! I would recommend it without hesitating

Clean place. Beautiful pool which is huge and clean. The accommodation is rather old but it is very clean. Good location. Need a car for the area. Romain is a great host. Good little restaurant Ti-Coco. Small private beach.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay! Sandra and her husband were warm, communicative and accommodating. On the first day, they provided breakfast and fresh pineapple, which was sweet and delicious! Sandra also helped me book the ferry over to Les Saintes and was an exemplary host! Always very pleasant and smiling. Gave us our space but were always somehow nearby if we needed anything! 10/10!!! The airbnb is to the centre of the island, so it was a central point to go exploring. Would recommend getting a vehicle if staying there because the access road to the main road is a bit long to walk. The accommodation is just as pictured. The kitchen and toilet were just outside the room, but the bathroom was inside. This was not a problem for me, but pointing out if it matters to others. There were some mosquitos but Sandra provided a net over the bed and a mosquito zapper so inside the room was fine. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend and would stay when in Guadeloupe next. Loved our stay. Claire and Maxence take care of welcoming us and our departure. It was two totally pleasant encounters! From our arrival, they gave us great tips. They made a difference for us! Thank you both! The space was perfect for our needs. Quiet and at the same time close to everything! We loved it!

Very welcoming hosts. We rented this house because there were 2 bedrooms. Since there were only 2 of us, only one room had been prepared…but our hosts offered to prepare the bed when we told them. It's fine but pretty rudimentary, the decor is very nice. Our boat was unable to leave the port because of the busy sea, quickly our hosts accommodated us for another night.

The apartment is as described, it is ideally located. Located on the heights of Gosier with a superb view of the surrounding countryside and the sea visible from the terrace, it is ventilated at will allowing to withstand the heat in rooms without air conditioning. The terrace equipped with a garden furniture is an undeniable plus. The access to the swimming pool located at the bottom of the building is a major asset, especially since the low attendance allows for discretionary use. The residence is quiet, secure and offers the possibility to park a vehicle easily. In short, I recommend this listing whose owners are very welcoming and responsive to all requests.

The whole family had a great stay. A very pleasant house that allowed us to enjoy the outdoors and the pool. Quiet in a cul-de-sac surrounded by greenery, not overlooked. We even thought about staying a few more days. Smooth and responsive communication. Thanks to Yannick.

Super apartment 20 meters from the beach and well located in Guadeloupe for visiting Grande Terre and Basse Terre. Recommended. We were a couple with two 6-year-old children.

Axelle was charming, pleasant and helpful. She made every effort to communicate with us english speakers. She spoke english well but not perfectly....we managed fine with our limited french and much graciousness on both sides. We were charmed by the area....many beautiful beaches...we went to the maison de cocoa , and into the rainforest. The accomodations were basic but comfortable...we had everything we needed. We took advantage of her offer to provide our first dinner...chicken colombe...a typical creole dish...yummy. We would be happy to return here!

Clean and quiet accommodation. Halfway between Saint Anne and Saint François, so perfect for restaurants, sightseeing and beaches. Responsive owners. Recommended.

If we could give 6 stars, I would have given 6 without hesitation. In its entirety, from the welcome to the accommodation, its location, the view, the standing, the exchanges, it's just the best, it's the best accommodation I've been able to discover on all my rentals in Guadeloupe. We were only able to meet Julie's husband, and not Julie, but it's all the same, they are happy to host and offer a property of this quality for rent. I would highly recommend.

Jo's villa was impeccable. It felt like a home away from home and nothing was missing. A real slice of paradise with beautiful sunsets. Intimate place that we recommend to everyone.
