Belvoir Park is just around the corner, which features a lake, Island Rotunda with BBQ’s, huge children’s play park and 1km Walking Track around lake with exercise equipment. Our apartment is child friendly with a portacot and high chair. Breakfast is provided for first day which includes eggs, cereal, toast and pod coffee.

Algona Hideaway is compact and clean with comfortable beds and a great shower. It is attached to the shed at the back of our 2 acre property, and has its own entry. I had just attended a workshop in the mountains - and was really looking forward to to a good night sleep. Ken’s Kip is the most gorgeous sanctuary - a home away from home for sure. I had the best sleep after a bubble bath out in the garden watching the flames of the outside fire flicker! The vibe is awesome - every detail has been thought about. And the welcome is generous - offering beautiful bread and tomatoes with a delicious bottle of Prosecco! I will be back over and over - the deep sleep is worth it.

The garden is an absolute highlight—lush, tranquil, and immaculately maintained. Whether enjoying a quiet morning coffee or winding down in the evening, it offered a perfect outdoor retreat that added so much to our stay. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would happily return.

We originally booked Liz's beautiful Lotties cottage for 3 nights to explore the area on our way to visit family in Melbourne - we loved it so much we booked two nights on the way back. The cottage is awesome, Stylish , we felt at home , warm , well appointed , comfortable , beautiful linen, private, I could go on but as well as all of these superlatives I would say the fact that it is dog friendly with a great fenced yard , and Pets allowed Inside on their own beds of course makes this a Dog Air BNB to be used as a template on how to be welcoming as well as respectful of privacy . I thank Liz and Ken for opening up their property for others to enjoy. We will be back. We loved Lotties Cottage. Thank you from Indi and Samson as well XX

I had always wanted to visit Beechworth and staying at Ms Martinelli’s place was the perfect opportunity to not only get to see what the district had to offer, it gave us a real taste of the area. Being in the house was like going back in time, and getting a real feeling of being in Beechworth during the Gold Rush and it’s Hey Day. The house is immaculate in its presentation and I was fascinated by the quality period furniture tastefully used throughout the house. There was ample storage space for us to store our things and it was just a short walk to the shops at the top of the hill. The garden was a gorgeous mix of roses, citrus trees and sculpted hedges. We loved our stay there, just right for celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary! Thank you Alex for making us so welcome! Robyn and Madé
