The Cooperage on The Shore

TheoRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
One of the best and most original Airbnb's we have stayed in. Very well-equipped with beautiful furnishings and features in a historic building. Lovely views on to the Water of Leith. The location is superb, situated in the best area of the Shore, with many bars and restaurants and lovely walks along the Water. Great public transport links to Edinburgh, including tram. Another bonus was the private parking, and accessibility. The early check in was a bonus meaning we could enjoy a full afternoon in the area. If I were to specify our ideal place to stay on a visit to Edinburgh, Leith - this would be it . Finally, thank you, Robert, for the great welcome packs, milk, fruit and treats etc. We can't wait to come back for another short stay.

Modern 1-bed & study waterfront flat in Leith

GeorgeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Emily's flat was perfect for a few days in Edinburgh and had everything we needed. Comfy bed, great shower and a lovely kitchen. It's the perfect spot for visiting the city, a 3 minute walk to the tram, which takes 15 minutes to the city centre (we walked one day and it was only 40 minutes). Emily gave us loads of recommendations for places to eat and they were all brilliant. Brunch, dinner, coffee, cocktails, you're spoiled for choice in Leith. Emily is a proactive, responsive and really helpful host and I would definitely look to stay again the next time I visit Edinburgh.

St Monans, The Old Post Office

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful family holiday over the Easter holidays with our girls aged 9 and 12. The house was easy to find and Helen was in touch to make sure check-in was straightforward and that we were settled in. The house is perfect (if stairs aren't a problem!): the front room on the ground floor has a traditional feel with the stonework and the woodburner. It was so peaceful to sit there with a coffee and the morning sunlight flooding in. Evenings, we sat around the big table to eat fish and chips. The adjacent kitchen is totally modern and equipped with everything you need. Our girls were so excited with their bunkbeds in their first-floor room and it was great to play board games in the cosy sitting room. We really enjoyed sitting at the window upstairs with a drink, taking in the views over the harbour and right over to the Bass Rock. The kids loved the walks along the coast to nearby villages, and it was a short drive to St Andrews. A memorable break in a special place!

Cosy cottage - sea views, Fife Coastal Path, Golf

CelineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a truly lovely stay at the Cottage! The place had everything we needed and more; beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished, and incredibly well-equipped, especially the kitchen. The garden looked absolutely stunning, it was such a shame we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it properly due to the weather. The location was perfect, just a few minutes from the beach and beautiful walks, ideal for taking the dogs and kids out first thing in the morning. One of the real highlights for us was the bed, honestly, it might be the most comfortable one we’ve ever slept in! All the information provided was super clear, and both Jane and Joyce were incredibly quick and helpful in responding to any questions we had. We truly loved the place – it made our visit feel extra special.

My family had an absolutely amazing long weekend at Charles’ home. Kenneth supported a very smooth check-in and was super friendly and responsive. I really appreciated that the hosts were very responsive and also transparent about the feasibility of staying in their home with a baby. The home itself was spotlessly clean, had a beautiful kitchen, and was very peaceful to relax while watching the river flow by. We will be back!

Entire House overlooking St Monans harbour.

GraemeRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a lovely long weekend in St Monans: the village is in a beautiful part of the world and the house is in the perfect spot overlooking the harbour. I think a place feels luxurious when the host is generous and James certainly doesn't stint on anything. Lots of towels, lots of crockery and cutlery and the house was warm and welcoming. James responded promptly to our messages. We would definitely stay here again!

Stylish Apartment, Sea & City Skyline view

OliviaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This is a gorgeous, spacious flat. The layout and design made me feel right at home, and I was truly impressed by the well stocked kitchen. The views are also unmatched, with every window showing a different glimpse of Edinburgh. I enjoyed looking out at the Firth of Forth each morning while drinking my morning coffee. I also loved how peaceful it felt here. The flat is slightly outside of the city center, but not so far away that you can’t walk to Edinburgh’s main attractions (and the walking paths near the flat are great!). Anita is also very kind, proactive, and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Had a lovely stay. Comfortable & cosy & all you need is in the flat. If you can’t manage stairs with bags this is not the place for you however, we were aware of this from other reviews. Good access to buses to get into town. Parked at the local 24 hour Fountain car park which is a 10 minute walk away. Definitely recommend
