Farmstay vacation rentals in Leicestershire

We really loved our stay at Ryecroft Lodge, we were visiting Download festival nearby in Donnington and it was wonderful to have somewhere like this to decompress and relax between the festival days. The house is beautiful, very thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed and wheelchair accessible too. Caroline is a great host, giving great, clear instructions and checked in with us at the beginning and end. Thank you, we hope to return again!

We stayed June 1st to 7th. Strawberry Lodge is located on a working farm and has fabulous views across the countryside. The sheep come right up to the house and are fun to watch. The kitchen is extremely well appointed and we made good use of the space. The local area is very rural but close to Rutland Water and we visited Barnsdale Gardens, Burghley House and the Workhouse in Southwell. All are recommended for visits. Finally, our hosts left a very generous welcome hamper which we very much appreciated.

Celebrated our 1 year anniversary and it was absolutely lovely, we are definitely going back! Lynden was so lovely and gave clear instructions that made finding eveything so easy, love our tour of the farm and feeding all the animals that were so friendly! The room was really nice and decorated so beautifully & really appreciated the complimentary snacks. We loved the hot tub, lighting the fire for our marshmallows, and how close the animals got to us! Was a lovely place to stay felt so at home and welcomed, would define my recommend :)

I was arriving late and Chris met me at the main road so I could follow him to the place. He was great, he showed me the access and details of the place and left me to it. He brought logs over for the fireplace which was great as I hasd't bought any. The place is small but you have what you need. Room was warm and cosy and the setting is just amazing. if you want to get away from the hussle and bussle of daily life...this is the place to come. There is another Lodge across the other side of the lake but not close enough to disturb your privacy or in view of each other. I went to Market Harborough which is the nearest town..they have some fantastic restaurants and cafes and bars...plus a waitrose,.aldi etc just 10 to 12 mins drive away. You are very secluded at the Lodge..you are immersed in the countryside so great walks and views plus you see lots of wildlife around you. I will definitely be visiting again

this was are 2nd trip to manton lodge, very calm relaxing experience, walking distance to the water, on a bus route. great place to visit and hugh and family are great hosts

This was the perfect place for exploring the beautiful local countryside and get some much needed rest and relaxation. This was helped also by Ruth’s to class customer service - her communication was spot on, and she was so helpful. The cottage is extremely comfortable and very well equipped. Will definitely be back!

The photos do not do this property justice! The location is stunning and peaceful - Sylvia provided very detailed instructions so it was easy to locate and access. The property itself is beautiful (we thought it was much bigger than it looked on the photos which ia a nice suprise!), its very clean, finished to a very high standard and has all the facilities you could need for a few days away. We have already recommended to friends and family, and looking to return ourselves! As a host Sylvia was very responsive to messages and very helpful. You will not regret booking your stay here 😀

Honestly, this was the best airbnb I've ever stayed at. I loved Burton Ovary, I loved the peace and quiet of the little cottage. I loved hearing the sheep and chickens outside my window, and i loved the quietly sophisticated decor with gentle farm references.(wanted the brilliant ceramic animal coasters) Also, the photos dont do it justice because it has glorious, high, beamed ceilings that really add to the beauty and rustic charm of the place. My only negatove was a lack of smart tv.... but who needs that when you have everything else! Loved loved loved it!!

We had a fantastic stay in the cabin with our two children (5 and 1), Stacey and Steve were fantastic hosts, always available to answer our questions and making us feel extremely welcome. We spent most of our time in the farm park which our children absolutely adored and there is easy access on foot from the cabin. The cabin is on a working farm, so reasonable restrictions of course apply on where you can go, but those were all clearly explained on arrival and we were given as much freedom as possible.

Emma’s beautiful Dairy was the perfect base for our week exhibiting at the NEC for Gardeners’ World Live. 35-40 minutes drive to the exhibition centre and a comfortable and relaxing place to return to after a long and busy day. Would thoroughly recommend over a hotel. Thank you Emma

We had a lovely stay, so much so that we've booked again for next year! the house was cosy and clean. great size for all of us too. the visit to the animals was really lovely too, I highly recommend this stay.

An emergency stay that turned into a tranquil lovely evening. Everything was as described and more private than expected. Dogs are welcome - it would have been nice to be able to let them off the leads in the area in front of the cabin. Would definitely recommend and the view over the fields morning and evening are lovely.

Robs place was absolutely perfect!! I found the place so easily thanks to robs instructions, the check in process was so simple. When I got to my pod I was so happy! The surroundings where beautiful and the pod itself was pristine. The pod actually was much bigger than it looked in pictures. My Mum actually came to have a look and ended up booking a pod that night because she loved the place so much.

A lovely place - charming but freshly renovated. Jane was very responsive, flexible and helpful.

We had a great time in the long shed. The area is stunning. It was perfect, just sitting in the hot tup, staring out into gorgeous fields of cows or up at the stars at night. The shed is in great condition, very clean and well stocked. Siobhan was very friendly but also the checking in and out process was so easy that we hardly needed to ask anything! We would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a stress free, peaceful trip away

We were a party of 6 adults, 2 babies, a 2 year old and 2 dogs and although we only stayed 2 nights for a family meet up over New Year we really enjoyed the property. The living room had plenty of seating for us all to sit and the large kitchen with dining table was great to all gather New Year’s Day to cook and eat dinner. The property is well equipped with plenty of crockery, glassware, cooking equipment and all of a good standard. Beds were comfy and bed linen immaculate and despite the freezing weather the property was lovely and warm. We didn’t really get out but the location an a farm with views of the fields all around was attractive and we would love to visit in the summer. The garden was a bonus for us with the dogs as when the weather was bad they were happy to have a run around outside. Lovely property and helpful host

Louise accommodation is lovely and in clean. It very quite so great if you want to get away. There were slight issues with the WiFi. Louise was very helpful and responded to all our requests. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was exactly how it was described and in a beautiful setting. Everything was really easy and we wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Very comfortable apartment in a beautiful location. Emma is delightful and very helpful. Children will love her menagerie of farm animals, as did we, a group of adults! (The second bedroom is cosy and more suited to children). We visited for a local family wedding, so I can’t comment much on the local area other than to say that the nearby village of Braunston-in-Rutland is gorgeous, as is the surrounding countryside.

The Annex is a perfect get away place. Set in a beautiful village with amazing views and wonderful walks. Tracey was a great host , quick to respond and to make sure you had the best stay. The accomodation is well presented , with everything you need. We found the bed super comfortable & the shower was great . Tracey kindly allowed us to use her decking area to sit outside & the kids loved the space. We would definitely recommend The Annex 😀

We had the best Christmas staying here! The view from the property looking out to the fields was picture perfect almost felt like a frame 🖼️ Every space in the apartment was designed carefully with so much thought. A cosy sofa space to relax, a formal dining set up, seated stools for a more casual vibe. Our 1year old Dog Ace loved this space, it was so nice for her to freely explore and manage the steps on the way up and down on her own. The host was warm and inviting and also left us to enjoy the place. Thank you

a top top stay. you won't find a better host for communication and friendliness. beds comfy, nice linen, great space upstairs and downstairs. super comfy and cosy for 6 people. no sofa beds, proper beds. Farm shop is great quality, we treated ourselves to awesome breakfast.

Bijou last minute find for a flying visit . Perfect space for two people for a two night stay . Beautiful scenery , stunning view actress the valley & very quiet location . Well appointed kitchen - clean & well maintained. The shower is a bit on the ‘gentle ‘ side but for two day stay adequate. We would have liked to have made use of the wood burner but it was plenty warm enough without !

The loft was gorgeous and in a stunning, peaceful and private location yet close enough to shops and the village centre. It had everything you could need and Elizabeth was so helpful and communicative. Thank you for having us!
