Guesthouse vacation rentals in Lehigh River

This is a place that you just want to return to year after year which is what we do! It is like your own private resort in the way that it feels with the beautiful peaceful surroundings, lovely comfy casita, and of course that heated pool with the waterfall and hot tub to make your evenings just an Ahhhh! erasing all tension from the real world! We love to go to Frenchtown and eat at the Frenchtown Cafe and shop the stores, go to Lahaska Peddlers Village, see the Fonthill Castle and Mercer Museum, as well as our new favorite in Doylestown, the Vampa Paranormal Museum with such cool grounds and antiques as well! Walk the pedestrian bridge over the Delaware and take in the sunsets.....Andy is an available attentive host but also gives you your privacy. Highly recommend but don't take my spot!!! :))

We had a really lovely stay at Gerwin's place! The guest house was very clean and comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. The property was beautiful and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable. We were able to walk down from the property to the Delaware Canal Towpath. We are already looking forward to coming back sometime!

This was our 41 Anniversary and what a great place to celebrate. The place was so relaxing and just sitting on the rockers outside, we didn't want to move. Linnea and Kevin are great hosts and we spent some time talking with them. We did venture to New Hope and just took rides to see the area, which is beautiful. On our arrival there were muffins and coffee, which my husband could not stop talking about, it was so good. In fact he bought 2 boxes to take home. I'm not a water drinker but the well water was so good I didn't need anything else to drink. It's a lovely place with great hosts and we had a wonderful time.

It has become a tradition to return to Melissa’s place. We love to paddle the Delaware River, enjoy biking the extensive bike path network along the river. This place is the ideal location for this kind of activity. It is in walking distance to the river and you are in the middle of the cute Frenchtown. The other river towns, like Lambertville, New Hope, Stockton are not far. The barn studio has everything you need, a super comfortable bed, all utensils you need to prepare a breakfast, a rustic but luxurious feel. Melissa always welcomes you with a bottle of wine, some cheese, snacks and some cold drinks in the fridge. It speaks for itself that this was our fourth time at this place.

Amazing stay for my family! We stayed in this lovely barn with my 1.5 year old daughter, boyfriend & my parents. Phyllis provided us with a baby gate to prevent my daughter from going up to the loft. That was a great touch for us. We enjoyed all the breakfast fix-ins. We felt right at home. The only changes that I would make is that guests should be provided with a key, that way they feel secure with their belongings. The water filter definitely needed to be changed as well. However, the water smell is common for the area. We will definitely stay again in the future! We have family that only lives 15 minutes away, so this was a perfect location for us!

We arrived at the beginning of a holiday weekend, a little late, in the dark. Lynn greeted us, made us feel so welcome, and showed us into the guest house which is really lovely, comfortable, and has just about everything one might need for a weekend or a week-long stay. It is so nice to stay in a space where such care and attention is paid to every detail. The location is easy to get to, yet quite rural. Super quiet. We were in town for a graduation, and once those events ended we had a most enjoyable and relaxing time enjoying this special place. We would be very happy to return in the future.

Staying at this Airbnb was such a wonderful experience for my family and me! The tranquil vibe, cozy place, and thoughtful hosts made it such a rejuvenating stay. It was totally worth it!

This was a perfect room for a quick stay in downtown. Jim Thorpe we could walk everywhere and it was really convenient but still quiet and peaceful. The room was well kept and clean and relaxing.

Gloria & David were great hostess/host... they have a really beautiful home; the whole house was comfortable, clean and very well stocked with sheets, towels, etc.... we did enjoy staying there.. if we come back this way, I will definitely request their house... Thank you

If you’re looking for a nice getaway, Annika’s cottage is the perfect place for you! The interior is beautifully designed with high quality pieces, and our stay was extremely comfortable. Annika was communicative and provided helpful local recommendations. She provided us with delicious complimentary breakfast sourced from local farms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Don’t think twice and book your getaway!

We had an amazing stay here! It is the perfect location since it’s right off the highway. The place was clean and so nice and bright. We really enjoyed the snacks that were available, too!!

The apartment was perfect for our family of 4. It was pretty much as advertised . . . Very clean, modern, and well stocked. The location is great as it’s walking distance to numerous restaurants, bars etc. I would definitely recommend it !

My friend and I enjoyed our girls' weekend getaway at Kasara's! We loved relaxing and reading by the fire as the snow came down outside. I was pleased to see several live plants around (always refreshing in the middle of winter) and we appreciated the antiques throughout the place. It was nice to have a full kitchen for our use. Kasara was quick to respond to any questions we had!

Staying in this home was as cozy as being in your own home. Every detail to the home was absolutely gorgeous and looked exactly like the photos. The home was extremely clean and most of all the hosts Katrina and Tamar were the best hosts we have ever had. They are so warm and friendly and make you feel so comfortable. We can’t wait to make it back to the barn.

The pool house is the perfect place to nest and rest and find respite after a long day!! It felt so good to be out in the country yet not too far from great restaurants and the amenities in town. I thoroughly enjoyed my dip in the pool!!! A perfect way to reset and refresh! The space is clean and comfortable with a super cozy bed. I loved sitting at the counter with the evening sun cascading through the window and having breakfast outside by the pool in the morning. I am excited to return later in the month!

We had a wonderful Christmas get away this year at this peaceful Airbnb. It'll be one to remember for years!

This was our second visit to The Shanty and it was just as lovely as the first! The cottage itself is immaculately kept and appointed with everything you could need. The whole property has a very serene feeling to it—as another reviewer mentioned, this place has heart. We really enjoyed having quick chats with Lynn and petting the sweet cats when popping into the main house. I’m sure we will be back soon.

Bri was a great host, very responsive and accommodating. Very cozy quaint lodging in a beautiful country setting. Very quiet area. The house had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit the Poconos.
