Family-friendly vacation rentals in Legazpi, Arganzuela

We spent a week in Pilar's beautiful home. The location is easily walkable to the metro restaurants, museums etc. We enjoyed eating at the various restaurants nearby -- none more than a block or two from the apartment. Havana Blues (two blocks from apt) for cuban sandwiches, La Princessa on the opposite corner from our block apt for amazing dolmas, chicken shawarma and belly dancing. The mercado is two blocks away for cheese fresh seafood and vegetables. Lots of coffee and pastry options. Pilar gave us a personal overview of how everything worked in the apartment. The kitchen is completely stocked. We probably spent most of our time out on the terrace, which also has a cute little sleeping cottage. There is a large retractable awning to offer shade in the hot part of the day. We sat outside every night and the large conversation couch offers plenty of seating. Pilar is a lovely host and is extremely responsive. We highly recommend.

Apartment was spacious, clean and in a great location. We struggled to understand all directions because check-in was with a different person who did not speak English though all other communications were in our language.

We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Madrid. The apartment is ideally located in the heart of the city, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and walking distance to almost anywhere in central Madrid. The apartment itself is clean, very spacious, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms including a large main one with both a shower and a bath, and has all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. It is also very quiet despite being in such a central location. Our family of four - including two small children - stayed at Gigi’s apartment for a month and had a wonderful time. The apartment was perfect for our needs. We especially loved that immediately upon exiting the building you would come onto a pedestrian street in the center of the city ready to start your day. We also greatly appreciated Gigi’s responsiveness and support throughout our stay. In sum, we loved our time and would stay here again during our next visit.

This is a fabulous location, central to the Madrid art triangle of museums and with excellent transport access via Atocha train station, the express airport bus from there and multiple Metro stops. But walking is easy from here to many Madrid attractions, and more importantly you are surrounded by great restaurants and the Mercado Anton Martin market. Despite this the area is also peaceful as you are on the third floor well above the local streets, so it is a stylish refuge when relaxing after exploring Madrid

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment is within walking distance of nearly every major spot in Madrid, yet the street feels private and peaceful — nights were quiet despite the central location. The space is spacious and full of character, with high vaulted ceilings, big windows, wooden floors, and a quirky, artsy decor which made it a lovely place for us and our kids. The communal areas had a great vibe, the kitchen was well equipped, and the whole place offered amazing value. Highly recommended — a unique and comfortable home base in the heart of the city!

Great location. No parking but you can drop off and park around the corner. Top of the street there is a plaza and restaurants. Up and then down to the left is a bigger plaza. The palace is about a 15 minute walk. You have to go to the rooftop bar at Riu Hotel. Incredible. 10 minute walk.

Such a fantastic stay in Madrid! Beautiful organized apartment and in a great location. Nieve was a fantastic host and readily available for any questions. Highly recommend for a great stay in Madrid!

Best friends travel Spain. Our first destination was Madrid and Carmela has an opinion book where she has all the information you need and other guests contribute. We got to learn about all the great restaurants close by etc. highly recommend. I would stay here again.

We had a lovely two-week stay in Madrid, using this apartment as our home base. Located right on Plaza Mayor, with lovely views out the doors and from the balcony, this is a fabulous location. We were concerned about noise being a problem, but it really just showed the life in the Plaza and was quiet by midnight. We opted to eat off the plaza most meals, as there are better options and more affordable (less touristy). Easy to get to many parts of Madrid from this location, whether by walking, catching the train/subway, or getting a taxi. The apartment is very nicely appointed with a great kitchen and living room. Beds and bathrooms were nice too. We highly recommend this for families and groups visiting Madrid!

Our family loved this apartment, it was like staying at home. we enjoyed the living room, the two rooms (one had children's toys that our daughter enjoyed very much) and of course the areas was so nice and convenient. a lot of restaurants, shops and we felt very safe. Julio is a very nice person and gave us suggestions to enjoy the area. we will definitely come back to this apartment, if we come back to Madrid. i have also already recommended the place to my friend who is coming at the end of the the month. thanks Julio!

Fantastic apartment with a beautiful pool! It's in a gorgeous spot close to lovely restaurants but in easy reach of Madrid! The apartment is even better than the photos and we were so warmly greeted it made us feel very cared for! We loved our trip and can highly recommend!

The location is unbeatable, very close to Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, ideal for exploring the area. José was very kind, allowed us to check in earlier and always kept in touch during our stay. The apartment is spacious and has all the amenities mentioned in the description, which made our stay very comfortable. There were three of us and we felt very comfortable. Overall, we had a great experience. I recommend it and would definitely come back!

Vicente is a perfect host, he does everything to make us feel good. The house is large, there were 6 of us and it was impeccable! there is everything as at home (towel, shower gel, all cooking utensils and enough to make breakfast). The metro is a 12-minute walk and about 50 minutes from the apartment to reach the center via the metro. you will have peace of mind when you arrive at the apartment. Super nice terrace!
