House vacation rentals in Leelanau Township

Makayla’s place is gorgeous and she’s a wonderful host. The place could have had less (cute) decorations for those traveling with young kids. We hid most of them but missed one or two that eventually became casualties of the 3 year old. But Makayla handled it with grace. And was so kind in her exchanges going so far as to mail back the toddler’s favorite PJs and stuffy.

Ive rented alot of air bnbs over the years. So far? This has been the best experience ive had. The house was amazing. Super clean. Comfortable beds. Super well stocked with amenities that most places dont provide. Jennifer is super easy to communicate with and get ahold of. We will be back next year:)

We had a wonderful stay at Richard's condominium! The condo is apart of a larger resort, Shanty Creek, and with the passes that were left for us to use, we were never bored! We explored the Lakeview Hotel and pool amenities there, the private beach, and the Shuss Mountain resort as well. This was especially nice for the 12 year old we had with us. There was a couple staying next to us (not under Richard's purview), who had loud dogs who would not stop barking but after messaging Richard, we heard them very rarely and then not at all, so we really appreciated the timely response we had from him and the action he took by informing the HOA for that condo. The little touches here and there were also really appreciated, like the fan/lightbulb fan charm cords so we knew which cord was for the light and which was for the fan. We plan on coming back for sure! Highly recommended place for people of all ages to enjoy.

The cabin was even better than expected! Nicole responded to every question that I had within 10 minutes. This was the perfect place for a kid free getaway and I think it would be just as fun in the winter as the summer. The location was perfect for visiting other cities if you want to travel around. We went to Petosky and Boyne city and visited Northern Michigan speedway on Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

This is an awesome place for a family or a couples get away. Cozy and private right in the middle of the woods, but still within a 10 minute drive to downtown Bellaire and 4 mins to the restaurants at Shanty Creek main resort area. The beds were super comfy. The space was open and cozy at the same time. We go every year for the annual Rubber Ducky Race and hope to rent here again every year. Thanks for the great experience!

This was our second time staying at Ladonna’s home. Very clean and comfortable and would stay again.

Sam and Lynn were very responsive and welcoming hosts. They provided us with snacks and some complimentary items in the fridge! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It was a very homey stay, I would definitely come back!

This was our second visit to Northport and to Vince and Kristy's Thyme Out Barn. We felt right at home. The place is absolutely beautiful. Our dogs LOVED playing with their friends, Sasha, Narco, and Vita. We love the proximity to Dune Bird Winery as well as other places and it's not too far to downtown Northport, Sutton's Bay, historic Fishtown, and other fun spots. We will definitely be back!!

This was a very special place to visit. An over 100 year old hunting lodge with some additions... basics for comfort added. As Matthew mentions... this is not a modern hotel! But very comfortable and well supplied with bedding and towels. Great swimming and walking / hiking locations within easy driving distance. And when there was a problem with the cook stove (gas) it got the attention it needed - a replacement brand new stove with oven. We hope to return in the future. My partner and I truly had a blast here.

Lovely house with lovely grounds. The pictures did not do it or the beach justice. Was really beautiful. The house is setup really well with everything you need for cooking, entertaining and hanging out. We had a lovely time.

Spent an extremely peaceful week fly fishing during the day and relaxing at the house in the evening. The house and hosts provided everything one needs to enjoy their time away. The setting was amazingly quiet.

Sarah was extremely communicative, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. She even checked in on us one night to make sure we knew how to turn the heat on. (Very sweet!) The cottage is clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a long weekend. We enjoyed the fire-pit and board games! The area is gorgeous, with quick access to Traverse, Petosky, and Charlevoix. We saw lots of deer, bunnies, and squirrels, and the leaves were absolutely gorgeous! This is a GREAT little hideaway! We’d definitely come back! Thank you Sarah for sharing your home with us! We appreciate you!

Staying at Sherry's Coventry Cottage was a real treat...my only concern was that my stay (4 nights) wasn't longer. Sherry was the perfect host with great attention to details. I told her that I felt more like a house guest instead of a renter. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful gardens and located in quiet, wooded area that is walking distance to the Bay and into town. Lovely furnishings and high-end appliances made it a pleasure to stay there. I highly recommend the Coventry Cottage and look forward to future stays.

Spent Memorial Day weekend in this peaceful home amid the trees and beautiful scenery. The house was spectacular and the responsiveness spot on. Our family didn’t want to leave. Thanks for having us and I hope many others enjoy as much as we did.

My family and our dog came to Northport for a family wedding at Willowbrook Mill and had an AMAZING stay at the Straubel House. The house was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The dog loved the fenced yard and we were like a block off the bay! We could walk everywhere including to the venue of the wedding. Octavia was friendly and helpful - wonderful host!!

The place was pure serenity, it’s an amazing location for peace and quiet, offering a great amount of privacy. The Wi-Fi reception was excellent, and the TV was positioned well. I appreciated the comfort of not having a TV in the bedroom, and the beds were very comfortable. However, if you need to use the bathroom throughout the night, be cautious of the stairs. Other than that, it’s a very nice location.

This is our second stay at the Rose Retreat! Impeccably clean, furnished, decorated along with all the comforts of home in a recently restored farmhouse within walking distance to the town of Northport. Everything is first class from the kitchen tools, to the beds, mattresses, and pillows, to the flat-screen TV and wi-fi bandwidth, and even to the Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine and a waiting complementary local bottle of wine and gluten free coffee cake in the fridge. A pair of bikes, outdoor deck furniture and grill, and more. We are a very senior couple who especially like that all we need for the two of us is laid out on the main floor. For a larger group (up to six it says) the two upstairs bedrooms are spacious and just as nice with a shared bath along with a TV/game room. Then there is a ladder to a loft in the attic that we've never explored. We will be back as we like to visit Northport and Leelanau twice a year and will book the Rose Retreat early to ensure our spot.

Great stay for the weekend. Peaceful and beautiful view of the lake. We seen bald eagles and caught fish off the dock. We would love a place like this to spend weekends away. Definitely would stay there again.

This was a sisters getaway..Pam’s beach cottage was such a pleasure!! Very clean and organized..decorated so nice .. Everywhere we wanted to visit was within a few minutes to a couple hours ..very easy driving!! I would recommend Pam’s cottage ..it is a different kind of layout and the bed in the loft you do have to climb a ladder..but we managed all and so glad we did !! Very nice area..I think you will enjoy as we did ..Pam is a really a wonderful host and if anything is needed she always answered!! Highly recommend..thanks again!!!

Corey’s place was perfect for our needs. We loved being able to pull into the garage and let our dogs out directly into the fenced yard. The home was beautiful, very clean and had a wonderful layout. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen and bathrooms, there were even games. We enjoyed the beach access and the sunrise and sunset views. I really hope get another chance to stay here.

This spot is such a gem, and so is Fran! Highly recommend staying here, every detail is thought out which makes a little vacation so easy! The views are gorgeous!
