Villa vacation rentals in Le Tholonet

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa - an oasis of tranquility, high on the hills overlooking the port at La Redonne. There are multiple levels & terraces with seating areas & hammocks, & lovely views of the surrounding countryside on all sides & from the rooftop terrace. Sadly the weather was dreadful for much of our stay - chilly, windy & wet - so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. We paid extra to have the pool heated but the external temperature meant it still felt cold & we didn't really get to use it at all. The villa is bright, airy & spacious with a well-stocked kitchen. The living area has huge comfy couches placed to look out at the views The steep hilltop location would be a challenge without a car as the supermarket is at least 2.5 kms away. There is only one restaurant at the port & is average & overpriced. I recommend driving to l'Estaque (15 mins) for some delicious seafood. Merci beaucoup Olivia et Karine

Emmanuelle's place is fantastic. We especially loved the garden and the pool, the outdoor kitchen and the terrace. The host is communicative and available to answer any question. We had a great time and totally recommend this Vila in Marseille.

Amazing house. The view from the terrace and from all the rooms of the house is spectacular. You don't get tired of the sunrise to sunset. We would never want to leave! Nicolas is a responsive, attentive, available and very kind host. Everything is done to ensure a pleasant stay. We recommend and hope to be able to come back.

Thomas’ place was perfect for our group of 5! The place is absolutely stunning- the photos don’t even do it justice. Thomas and Dorine were both great communicators - Dorine welcomed us for an early check in despite having guests the night before. We so appreciate their flexibility and communication. Lastly- location!!! Walkable to restaurants and town and to several beach options. Can’t recommend this place enough! We’d be so lucky to come back someday.

An absolute oasis in Gordes! We loved having al fresco dinners and morning cappuccinos throughout the property. The pool was divine!

This is a magical setting with the most beautiful views. The home is lovely and is an easy 5 minute walk into the village of Gordes. Centrally located to so many villages that we were able to take advantage of visiting all across Provence. Carole, who manages the property, is amazing and so lovely. She sent us restaurant recommendations all thru Provence, she walked us through operation of all appliances, and she is so responsive if you have any questions or concerns. We already missed it by the time we drove to the bottom of the hill, but we will be back.

Great house! Perfect starting point for excursions in all directions and to all the hot spots of Provence. Sufficient dishes and equipment and through the large fridge and washing machine we felt perfectly cared for. The pool is really big and super suitable for fun and play. Service with inquiries and concerns always available and super helpful. Had a mega time as a family in 4 generations, ❣️ thank you for everything

Elegant, stylishly furnished villa where you immediately feel at home. The entire furnishings of the house are well thought out, the view spectacular. The communication was hassle-free. 5-star accommodation that we would book again anytime. We thank Marie and her family for the great stay.

A great place for a large family or group of friends to stay and enjoy the surrounding towns and countryside of Provence. The house is beautiful, pool and aircon lifesaving in summer. We could walk to town but our hired cars came in handy for trips in the area (the house is located in a suburb type area of Aix en Provence).

An absolutely perfect stay! The house was beautiful with a stunning exterior. A true haven of peace, quiet and relaxing, ideal for recharging and enjoying with family. location is excellent, many outdoor activities like swimming, petanque, hiking (during which we met many friendky locals and their dogs), close to nature, we encountered so much wildlife , there is a chevrier and the famous Rove goats and the AOC cheese in the neighborhood. If you love nature and isolation from the noise of the city, this is the place for you. Yet it is an easy drive to the cultural and gastronomic fearures of Provence.

We had a wonderful family holiday in Cyril and Beatrice's house. The bastide is very well located, quiet, but 15 min walk to the city center. It is superb, shaded as desired and the different outdoor spaces (swimming pool, chicken coop and children's games, petanque court) allow everyone to find the activity of their choice. Corinne’s home was incredibly cozy and a close walking distance to the main part of Gordes. We went out during the day and cooked and home and played pool at night with my two teenage kids. Perfect vacation location in the most idyllic part of Provence

Shiny Villa is a beautiful peaceful villa that has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The photos and descriptions of the villa are accurate and the pool is clean. The villa is well maintained and private. It’s in a great location for exploring the villages and towns of the Provence, if you can drag yourself away from the fabulous pool. Sandrine is a super host, responsive and informative. There is a boulangerie and cafe in the village (5 minute walk) and supermarkets and other shops 10 minutes away by car. Our stay at Shiny Villa was a highlight of our travels around France.

Gorgeous Airbnb in Gordes! Stayed last week of May. Walkable to town with cute restaurants and shops. Short driving distance to quaint towns throughout Provence. Pool was nice but it wasn’t hot enough out to use it - not heated the way we’re used to it in the US! 10/10 stay would come back!
