Simply one word: perfect. If you are looking for a beautiful environment, with a beautiful and quiet stay, then you must go here. The hosts are super friendly and have made you feel completely at home. The amenities are super neat and very modern, you will not be short of anything. We enjoyed every minute of spending time in this beautiful place. A gem! We definitely recommend this place.

Place was very clean very organized and very well centered around the Normandy World War II sites

We enjoyed a week away. The cottage was equipped with all the comforts. We enjoyed the (wood)pellet stove when it got a little colder in the evening. We also made good use of the swimming pool and jacuzzi, which was wonderful. Beds are also lovely! In some places you can see that the location is a little older, the front door closes a little harder, but that is also part of the charm of the old building. Asked for a tip for food and beach, and an extra laundry rack, and got a good and quick response to this and laundry rack they came quickly. WiFi was very good and fast. Surroundings are beautiful. You can see history on the beaches, but also further in the area. Fifteen minutes from Bajeux, where you can rent bicycles, eat, and shop. But you are also at the beach (Omaha) in fifteen minutes, or 25 min. to Arromanches-les-Bains, where you can see even more history in the sea. Tip: rent bicycles in Bajeux, Bajeux Aventure, Maisy Battery In short: recommended!

We have stayed in many Airbnbs over the years and this was the best ever. From the warmth of the welcome, the beautiful house and amazing gardens, the history, the graciousness of the building and the generosity of our hosts. It was impeccable. If you are visiting the Normandy beaches I can’t recommend this Airbnb enough. A truly special place that will stay with you for weeks afterwards.

I was warmly welcomed by Manon when I arrived late at night with my dog. Manon is very attentive, responsive and very available if you have any questions. The accommodation is as advertised and decorated in a "cocooning" style with the necessary equipment. And you can walk around the marshes a few meters away. Thank you for everything, Manon!

This is such a quiet and beautiful air bnb. We spent 3 nights here as a family of four whilst exploring the D Day landing beaches (the gite is very close to Omaha) and we couldn’t fault anything about the accommodation. We had brilliant nights sleep every night - very comfortable mattress and pillows and very quiet area so no noise disturbance. We cooked supper in the kitchen a couple of nights - the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the authentic surroundings and the children enjoyed meeting Moby. Very responsive hosts - we would highly recommend this Gite.

I was recommended to have a look at this property, & boy this exceeded our expectations & some. We were travelling on Harley Davidsons from the UK & arrived to be greeted by our hosts who went above & beyond to welcome us & show us round. Also explaining where three thirsty & hungry bikers could grab a beer & a bite to eat also pointing us to the nearest supermarket to pick up a few supplies for our stay. The property is a converted barn with a fantastic outdoor space, & for us has secure covered bike parking in an adjoining outbuilding so we could all sleep easy knowing that our pride & joys were secure. The purpose of our trip was to pay our respects to the fallen on D-Day & this property is 15 mins from Omaha beach & is perfectly placed to visit all the landmarks we couldn’t have asked for a better location. In summing up Céline & David were the perfect hosts & we would strongly recommend this property we will be back✊💨💨

This place is so charming! And Laurence was a kind, gracious and responsive host. This is a quiet area, especially before the tourist season starts. It was a great place to enjoy the history and beauty of the area. Was glad I chose it.
