Beautiful location! We stayed in Lavender Cottage which has a private entrance and sunny garden with table, chairs and sun loungers. We took advantage of Susan’s first night meal and breakfast in the morning which made for an easy and stress free arrival and was excellent. We had a fun day out with Martin and 2 other couples wine tasting, we went to 3 very different wineries and enjoyed a 3 course meal which was also included. Susan and Martin are a fountain of knowledge concerning where to visit and eat which was really helpful and made our days out a lot easier to plan. The pool is a lovely place to cool off after a busy days sightseeing and there are also pretty shared gardens with BBQs where you can chill out and eat if you want to. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay special. It is very rural so a car is essential, but if you want a truly French experience would highly recommend! Thank you Susan & Martin for a memorable holiday!

Excellent stay. Very clean and very well-equipped accommodation. Extremely quiet. Perfect for relaxing. The large garden was a real asset for the children and our dog (who learned to live with Abdel Ilah's chickens). Very friendly and super responsive host. I would highly recommend it

What a beautiful place with a magnificent view. Very quiet place with no neighbors. Too bad the weather wasn't good but we were still able to enjoy this lodge which is superb. If we have a chance, we will not hesitate to take it back we loved our stay which was too short unfortunately.

We really enjoyed the place and we felt very comfortable there. The rooms are spacious and bright, the amenities are new, practical and numerous, the bedding is very comfortable, with the bonus of a welcoming entrance area including a cloakroom and a foosball table. The view is exceptional and we appreciate it all the more because the living rooms overlook the Loire. Despite the proximity to the road, the accommodation is very quiet and has a very authentic character. For tall people, the attic spaces are sometimes a bit low, but they have a crazy charm - and one of the rooms that has a higher ceiling suited them perfectly. Anaïs was a very attentive and responsive host, which helped make our stay an experience we will remember for a long time.

Perfect stay! Anne is very welcoming and very responsive. The place was very clean, in good condition and very well decorated, quite suitable for a romantic weekend! The pluses: Anne knows all the good spots, the bottle of bubbly from the neighboring estate was excellent and the little chocolate cake on the morning of departure delighted us! Thanks again to Anne for this very nice welcome, we will come back without hesitation if the opportunity arises!

Two apartments in 1 (which can be rented separately), which was convenient in our configuration, allowing my elderly mother to be on the ground floor. Nice, functional and well decorated. Close to shops, the very good restaurant L'Epine (which offers a vegan menu) and the Château. Very quiet and good bedding, we slept very well! Easy to park in the area, even without a dedicated parking space.

If you are looking for an atypical accommodation, full of good surprises, in the heart of a small natural vegetation beautifully guided by Laurent and witness to all the riches of soul of the master of the premises, then you must come here! In addition, this Cottage is ideally located for discovering, within a maximum of 40 km, a wide range of activities: bike tours, forest, zoo, castles, small characteristic villages... and Laurent is not short of good advice. Not living on the premises, we did not meet him directly... and yet we feel like we know him as his presence permeates the accommodation and guided us throughout the stay. Our stay went perfectly well. Our 11-year-old children (and ourselves) loved the place, especially the outdoor structures with a very large pool in which they had a lot of fun. The place is very friendly, our hosts were very nice and very hospitable. Beautiful environment, the village is very friendly, for lovers of tranquility and authenticity. To discover! ps: we loved the pizzas offered by the owners of the village bar :-)
