Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lawrenceburg

This place is a slice of heaven. It’s quiet and perfect for a group of family / family friends / and for myself a bachelorette group. We enjoyed the tranquility and the feeling of right at home! The house was cute and clean. You get your bang for your buck here. My only advice would be if you book, bring a car that can climb a hill, as the home is on top of (what feels like) mountain! But makes for gorgeous views.

This house was perfect for our family (8 adults). Julie was very responsive, even when we locked ourselves out of the house late on night. Nice neighborhood too!

Cliff was very helpful and responsive, we were in town on a job so there was plenty of space for people who don’t normally travel together. It was a very cold week so the hot tub was just what we needed! Would absolutely recommend.

One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in! Lots of extra little amenities, the decor was unique and well thought out, and the location was perfect. We travel to the area often and would definitely book again.

Great Airbnb in a cute, quiet neighborhood. The house was spotless! The bedrooms were a nice size with plenty of room. We enjoyed the two living spaces and the large dining room table. We would definitely book again if ever in the Louisville area! Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

This was a very comfortable and clean place for our stay in Lexington. We felt right at home and the location was great. We would definitely stay here again. Seth was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed.

We had An amazing time staying at Emily’s! My daughter was out early every morning to say hi to the horses and loved the kitty and dogs visiting too! Beds were comfy!

The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and peaceful at night. I especially appreciated the little touches and clear instructions. The Nest was perfect for our family of five’s weekend getaway. We love the area and felt safe and comfortable in the neighborhood. Scott was a great host and very responsive to our questions. We will definitely stay here again.

The listing undersells the space - this beautiful barn retreat provides everything you could need or want, and so much more! You’re greeted by music playing on the indoor/outdoor speakers and walk into a place that feels like home. It’s comfortable, neatly arranged, and the attention to detail is incredible. Windows with picturesque views, piles of books all about, a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom, walkable property with friendly animals… oh yeah, and breakfast waiting in the fridge! There were fresh eggs, bacon, and biscuits for each morning. We had planned to spend our second day hiking at Bernheim, but we ended up just relaxing in the barn and taking walks down by the river. We had the pleasure of meeting and hanging out with Jackie, who is an amazing host and now a dear friend. She’s so fun, upbeat, caring, and you can tell hosting has become her passion. My husband and I came for a very important meeting and she provided a perfect environment for him to relax and prepare.

We were fortunate enough to stay in this lovely home for three months and could not have been happier. Location, amenities and communication were all 10/10 and we would happily stay again.

My family and I loved Ross place!!! His communication was quick and left very clear instructions. Upon arrival, he even left music on to welcome us. The home was exactly as pictured and was very peaceful. It accommodated our needs and highly recommend 👌.

Nathan and Shannan’s place was just lovely. Just a few minutes out of town and such a unique home with lots of love built in. We had a lovely stay and as a proud Berea College alum, I loved seeing some old Berea memorabilia in the home. Very cozy for a beautiful fall weekend with my family! And my chihuahuas were happy too!

A cute, rustic cabin with comfy beds and decent amenities in a location that is inside a farm, surrounded by horses and a local extra-toed sweet kitty that came by to visit. It is 30 minutes from Louisville and less than 10 minutes from local convenience and restaurants. The host response was prompt and welcoming. We hung out in the evening on the porch with the pleasant sounds of nature and a breeze. It was delightful. We stayed just overnight as we had an event nearby.

It was perfect for our family and was close to the family that we travelled to visit!

Our family of 6 stayed between Christmas and New Years. Like Alicia and Glenn, we also homeschool our four kids (ages 12-6). We were worn down from the holidays and daily life, so were looking for a refreshing time away from home. Our stay was exactly that. The home and property were extremely peaceful being out in the woods. We did several trail walks and explored the creeks around the property. The kids thought the circular nature of the home, and hot tub were fun too. I appreciated the various Christian decor in the home, it gave me some things to think about as we hung out. But even more than all of that, we had a wonderful chat with Alicia and Glenn that was very refreshing to our spirits. If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway that is focused on Jesus and the holy spirt this is the place for you. We loved staying at Annika’s place during our visit to Kentucky for Keeneland. It reminded us of our historic sorority house, had everything we needed, and kept our men folk occupied in the pool room watching football while we sisters caught up all night! We had the best time! Thank you for having us!

A wonderful home hosted by wonderful people. I can’t thank Amy and Carol enough for being incredible hosts and opening their home to us. Would certainly recommend this to anyone considering staying in the area!

We’ve stayed here several times over the last few years and we plan on continuing to do so on our annual Kentucky trip.

William’s home was the perfect vacation spot! Quiet and peaceful! We spent most of our time in the pool or sitting outside with our dogs. With the fenced in yard, it made it so easy to have them out there with us. William was extremely responsive to any questions we had. House was very clean and very welcoming! We hope to be back sometime soon!

We loved our stay here! The off-street parking was great. We also loved using the pool and just hanging out in the various spaces! We really appreciated how helpful our hosts were when we needed to communicate with them. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and were very accommodating. Pro Tip: The upstairs shower has better water pressure than the downstairs one. :) This place is wonderful & we'd love to stay again if/when we're in town.
