Hotel vacation rentals in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea

We stayed here during Tortuga festival and it was a great spot. Carlos was SO responsive and helpful when our flights kept getting changed. The room was exactly like the photos. Area is walkable, 10 min walk from the beach, a publix is across the street, and a water taxi stop is right out the front door. Only small con is the front desk (which he warned us about and unfortunately can’t do anything about) was SO slow for anything you needed and wasn’t very nice. It took us almost 30 mins to check in because there were 2 people in front of us in line. But once you’re checked in you don’t need them anyways. Didn’t have a car but I think parking it was pricey, something to confirm if you plan on driving. Overall we would absolutely recommend and hope to stay again!!

Loved our stay!! Bellhop, valet, servers, pool attendants, and bartenders were all amazing. We received a drink voucher per person that can be utilized at the downstairs restaurant, lobby lounge, or pool bar. Get the spicy mango frozen cocktail! We also got fresh baked welcome cookies. There’s Sunbum sunscreen available at the pool, but I still recommend that you bring your own when you go out. Fresh Market grocery store is a block away. The hotel room has water filtration from the kitchen faucet and water carafe provided in the room. They offer free water bottles at the front of the coffee shop, and they have cucumber- lemon water stations at the lobby and pool. End of the hallway has an ice machine. We liked the daily gelato happy hour. They have alcohol happy hour Mon-Thurs. We used the free beach shuttle, which dropped us off at the Ritz. It leaves on the hour from 9-5PM with reservations. Pink beach towels provided by driver. Umbrella and chairs are already set up. Def stay here!

Very satisfied with our places, we were given unit five that come with lots of windows for nice daylight. Very comfy bed in huge room. The place is dated but well maintained as walkway are freshly painted and spotless as for the building. Coming from up north, you are asked to take your garbage out every day, when I ask about that. I was told that pest control come twice a week and that taking your garbage out is part of controlling and it works didn’t see any bugs throughout our stay. Short walk to the beach less than three minutes, nice beach not a lot of people on the beach, If the place stay the same, I would definitely come back, thanks to Marie and Scott

Kim's place was perfect for a group trip. This is in a trendy part of town, but it's still the city so keep your wits about you. Having multiple units increased the privacy and enjoyment of the entire group. We would definitely do this again!

I was apprehensive after reading a few reviews that mentioned bug issues, but I have to say that I was relieved when I got to my room on the second floor and opened the door. It was exactly as the pictures on the sites. It was clean, open space (and mine was just a king basic), with many amenities. I had no issues with the elevator, and liked the security feature as a solo female traveler. The area had always people on the street, so I didn’t feel isolated. Matt had suggested Casa Blanca’s next door and many other restaurants that I had checked out. Starbucks is a building over and I enjoyed the rooftop balcony many times, as well as the second floor overlooking the ocean. Great gem of a place for the money! If you’re looking for something unique and nostalgic amongst all those high rise hotels, this is it! I had one moment on my first shower that the water was trickling out. I thought maybe it was clogged, and it just needed to be adjusted. All good. Thanks Matt!

Location, location, location! Frost's place at the Z-Ocean Hotel is located right in the middle of world-famous South Beach. Ocean Drive, Española Way, the actual beach, tons of restaurants and shopping are all within walking distance oe a short Uber ride away. Friendly front desk staff, despite the fact that they're supposed to cater exclusively to guests that booked directly through the hotel. Clear and timely check-in instructions, was a breeze. The place looks exactly like the pictures & description; if not better. The pool is literally right outside the room, floor-to-ceiling glass windows with privacy blinds. Extremely clean unit and well thought out with pretty much anything you may need during your stay. If you're thinking about booking; do it! You'll be glad you did. It was sad to leave but I'll definitely be back sooner than later.

The Bikini Hostel was a great place to stay for an excellent price! Right in South Beach, close to everything, and walking distance (little less than a mile) from Ocean Drive. Having stayed in similar places, this one felt secure and the staff was helpful with any questions/requests we had. Great location and very affordable!

Evanthia always responded to questions very quickly. The booking was easy from start to finish. We really enjoyed this location and our stay was easy and uncomplicated. We would stay here again.
