Earth house vacation rentals in Latin America

We had a great time at Linda’s place with our two kids. Her house is a lovely little museum where you feel cosy and at home. Very nice backyard where you can enjoy the sun and the peaceful neighborhood.

Wir hatten als 4-Köpfige Familie einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Swin. Die Unterkunft ist geschmackvoll und außergewöhnlich vom Design. Die Umgebung sehr ruhig und naturbelassen. Wir konnten die Spielgeräte mit benutzen und unser Sohn spielte Fußball mit dem Sohn der Gastgeber. Dadurch fühlten wir uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Beachten sollte man die herausfordernde Anfahrt. Wie Swin auch hinweist, ist mindestens ein SUV erforderlich. 20 Minuten Bergauf über Stock und Stein. Zum Glück waren wir für 2 Tage mit Essen ausgestattet, sodass wir nicht nochmal ins Dorf mussten und so die Ruhe voll ausnutzen konnten. Bringt Insektenspray mit. Es gibt doch einige Miskotos.

El lugar es realmente hermoso. Mucho más lindo de lo se ve en las fotos. Las cositas dulces (q lei muchos comentarios cuando alquile) son de otro planeta. De verdad fue una experiencia hermosa. La cabaña es perfecta, linda, calida, bien equipada y con detalles que la hacen única. Realmente felicitaciones. Muchas gracias YA QUIERO VOLVER (Es un lugar que amerita quedarse varios días). This was a great place to stay! Franks was responsive and you're within walking distance to all the downtown stuff. Overall, it was great. If you're a light sleeper like me, then do note that you're close to the train tracks and the trains run all night. You will hear them. But I came here to get a feel for living in Tucson and I'm glad I stayed at this little house.

Great host and accommodations. It was quaint, cozy, and very clean. Great location and we enjoyed our stay very much. Would absolutely stay here again.

This was probably the most unique and memorable Airbnb we’ve stayed at so far! We absolutely loved the peace and quiet—it truly felt like an escape from the world. The views were stunning, with Big Bend practically in the backyard, and we even got to enjoy a bit of hiking up the beautiful ridge on the property. The outdoor shower was so cool with an amazing view, and even the outhouse had its own charm! One thing to note is the drive to the property—it’s down a secluded, rocky road, and GPS won’t quite get you there. We made the mistake of arriving after dark, which made it trickier, even with the detailed directions provided by the host. I’d definitely recommend arriving during daylight for a smoother experience. All in all, we highly recommend this little oasis. It was a beautiful, serene getaway and a highlight of our time in Terlingua—one we’ll remember fondly!

It was an incredible experience and was everything that was promised and more. Hector and his family are the kindest and most welcoming people. Me and my fiancée both really enjoyed our stay at his place and will be definitely coming back soon

We had a fantastic stay! It was great to relax by the pool and waterfall after a day out hiking and exploring Tucson. Patrick and Kiki were super friendly and recommended some of their favorite spots to hike. It was fun to visit the animals as well. Highly recommend!

Muy bonito lugar para pasar el fin de semana y alejarse de lo cotidiano. Tiene mucha privacidad y te atienden con super bien, siempre disponibles. solamente como.oportunidad la ubicación te manda a otro lado y hay muchos insectos, así como un gato.

Fantastic place to stay with a large group, and a great location! Cheap lyfts to the gas lamp and airport. Right by Balboa Park and walkable to several wonderful restaurants. The apartments were very clean and had all amenities we'd need. The hosts were very organized. Highly recommended!

Really well stocked house: we loved the sports equipment and kitchen appliances (air fryer is clutch). Beds are comfy too. We did have some issues with the plumbing which the hosts dispatched a plumber for but couldn’t be resolved, not much to be done about that though. Will stay again next year.

The house is so beautiful, peaceful, well decorated. And the neighborhood is amazing too. We had a fantastic time! We would love to come back!

Samuel’s place was great for our weekend in Mesilla/Las Cruces. We have two dogs and prefer to travel with them, and his place was perfect! Not only a great yard, but also a large beautiful (and typically empty) park RIGHT next to the home. The house is all you need and temperature was always comfortable. Instructions were clear once we got there. The only note I would say is that the home is shorter because of its traditional style, so if you are on the taller side, I would move through the house carefully. Last thing we loved — there were very quiet and peaceful goats next door, and my dog treated it like TV. It was the most entertaining thing we could’ve done for the them. Thanks again! We will definitely stay here next time.

This was a darling house! Loved the decor. Bed was comfy. Marfa is very walkable in general, but this is in a great location to get anywhere easily. We loved that we had plenty of room to park our little camper while visiting for a couple nights. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Our stay at Theresa's was great! The hacienda had everything we needed and was cool despite the heat. There was plenty of Keurig pods for our morning coffee and the backyard bird feeders were always busy! Saw a couple life list species right from the patio. The hacienda was very quiet and private and we didn't hear anything from the neighboring unit.

I loved staying at Casa Pájaro! The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable, and it is located in a quiet, peaceful area that is just a short drive outside of Barichara. The sounds of the birds is incredible, and the jacuzzi was lovely. The house matches the description perfectly. Sandy is very attentive and helpful, making the stay very relaxing and enjoyable. I am already planning to return!

We spent three unforgettable days in this bungalow — it truly felt like stepping into a small tropical paradise. The place strikes the perfect balance between comfort, privacy, and a deep connection with nature. The bungalow itself is cozy, clean, and well-equipped. We saw macaws, hummingbirds and other birds, Howler monkeys and adorable agoutis wandering peacefully nearby. It was an incredible way to experience wildlife up close, without crowds or noise — just us, the animals, and the sounds of the jungle. This is the perfect spot for anyone looking for tranquility, inspiration, and a real sense of being immersed in nature. We left with full hearts and a strong desire to return. Thank you for such a special experience — one we’ll remember for a long time!🤩

Casa Wo es sin duda un lugar increíble; la ubicación, las amenidades, la limpieza, la amabilidad de los Host, la cercanía a la playa, la seguridad del lugar, en realidad nuestra estancia fue muy placentera. Gracias por todo, esperamos volver pronto!

Es war sehr paradiesisch, ich vermisse es jetzt schon. Da es etwas ab vom Schuss ist, kommt man komplett zur Ruhe. Ich hab den täglichen Weg zum Meer so genossen durch den Wald. Es war richtig aufregend, die Vögel und Tiere rund herum zu genießen. Der Strand ist der Wahnsinn. Wir haben vorab eingekauft und in dieser wunderschönen Küche kulinarisch gekocht. Das Wasser konnten wir auch gefiltert trinken und war bestens. Es war wie wenn man in einem Vogelhaus lebt. Die An-und Abreise war auch sehr angenehm und gut machbar mit den örtlichen Quadricycle Taxis. Mega aufregend so durch die Natur zu rauschen. Freu mich eines Tages wieder euer Gast sein zu dürfen.

Simplesmente incrível, tudo perfeito, hospedagem com excelente localização, anfitriões muito solícitos, área externa magnífica com uma hidromassagem e sauna deslumbrantes. Com certeza iremos voltar, e será em breve!

Ein wunderbarer Ort um mit der Natur und sich selbst in Kontakt zu treten. Klein und fein. Mit einen traumhaften Ausblick. Und alles sehr sauber 😊. Einfach nur magisch. Silvia ist eine ganz besondere Gastgeberin. Focaccia und Gemüsecurry mitten in der Natur gibt es nuf bei ihr.

We loved our stay. Beautiful location. Well thought out space with wonderful garden and ethos. It did end up being a bit further from central Oaxaca than we had originally thought, but it wasn’t an issue for us. This place is in the mountains so if you are squeamish about bugs keep that in mind you are close to nature. Host was super responsive and kind. Also, they provide purified water! We missed this when we booked and accidently brought plastic in, but the host took care of the recycling with no fuss. Would absolutely book again.

Amei! O chalé é mais bonito que nas fotos, muito limpo e o local é paradisíaco, um refúgio no meio do nada pra quem quer descansar da correria da rotina. A área tem três chalés e o vênus é o último, bem ao lado da montanha, o que dá ainda mais privacidade. A vista do nascer do sol é espetacular, mas pra quem quer dormir até mais tarde, as cortinas blackout vedam muito bem a luz. A localização é bem entre Alto Paraíso e São Jorge, o que é ótimo pra quem quer ter acesso às cachoeiras e restaurantes dessas cidades. Os anfitriões são ótimos e dão todas as instruções, ajudam com o que for necessário muito rapidamente. Até um microondas colocaram lá pra nos dar mais suporte. O local é realmente de acesso meio complicado, dá uns 25 min pra conseguir chegar no asfalto. A estrada é de terra e bem acidentada, mas fomos de HB20 alugado, com chuva e deu tudo certo. O único problema é que não tivemos coragem de pegar a estrada no escuro, por isso, aconselho levar o que precisar pra passar a noite.
