Cheers, ...again a big thank you to Heidi and Uwe for the nice and friendly welcome. The house and surroundings exactly met our expectations. The in-house dock and the use of the small boat "OTTO", for excursions and trips on the Rorichumer Tief, were another I - icing on the cake. We will be happy to come back. We were visiting a relative in the area. The venue suited our needs very nicely. Home from home (once we got used to the stairs). A version of the Guidance Book in English would be very useful. If we venture into Drenthe again, we will certainly look to see if Irene’s home is available.

Six of us had a great stay. The communication is great, the house is cozy and modernly furnished with a beautiful view of the lake. It was pleasantly quiet in the neighborhood of the seals. The location is also good, you can get to both Nordhorn and as well as Lingen. We'll be back!

This place is a stroke of luck. If you are looking for a large and cozy accommodation in a quiet location for a large family with four-legged family, this is the place to be. There's not just a lot of space for the dogs. The agreement with Pascal was straightforward. He was very nice. We felt immediately comfortable here and will definitely be back soon!

We were allowed to spend an unforgettable week in the "Old Painters House." Upon arrival it becomes clear: The location is an absolute dream. Quietly located, right on the water and away from the small country road, great for switching off. The decor is not only tasteful and cozy, but also designed with a lot of love for detail. We especially liked the large bedroom with its wide view over the surrounding meadows. A real highlight was the observation of thousands of nuns - right from bed! Nature up close without leaving the house. A short walk leads over a small jetty to the Sieltor, from where you can enjoy a great view of Ems and Dollart. Although the nearest rolls are a bit far away, they are of the highest quality. Conclusion: A wonderful vacation home with a very special atmosphere, surrounded by a quiet, inspiring environment. A week full of peace, nature and well-being – we will be happy to come back!

Beautiful house, wonderful and very quiet neighborhood by the water itself. Thank you for letting us live here Holida and Chris are great hosts, they were very helpful and quick to answer the question. The house was clean and everything you needed. It felt like home.
