Vacation rentals with beach access in Las Catalinas

A fantastic place with a very friendly host ready to make you feel like home. Very clean and all as in the pictures. Will be happy to come back if I’m ever in Coco again.

My husband and I took our first family vacation with our 2.5 year old son, and Pedro's home was the perfect family-friendly location. First, the home itself felt even nicer than shown in the pictures. The home was spotless, spacious, and included everything we needed for our stay. Our toddler was delighted by all of the beach and pool toys on the property, and the pool has a large shallow ledge that made swimming much more accessible to him. The pool was cleaned every morning by the groundskeeper who was very friendly. The property is fully gated, and we felt safe and comfortable knowing that Pedro and his wife lived on the third floor, and the groundskeeper also lived on the property. That said, our stay still felt private. The location and views simply cannot be beat. Each evening, the sun sets directly in front of the property over the ocean. Playa Hermosa as a whole was quiet, calm, and welcoming, and I'd argue that Pedro's home is the best property there.

This is our second time at Nick's place and it was everything we remembered. You can walk out the back patio and in 100 feet, go right into the ocean, with great surfing right there. Short walk to Tamarindo for restaurants and shopping, but secluded enough for peace and quiet. Several small maintenance issues popped up during the 10 days, but Nick responded in 15 minutes each time and the problems were resolved in an hour or two. Great host, great location, and great communication. We'll definitely be back.

The condo was as described and is in a great location. The views are beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. The little beach is great and there are many iguana around the property, much to the delight of our child. The pool was clean and there was plenty of room. We would definitely stay there again.

I really appreciate the stay in tamarindo in Stephanie apartment.she was very helpful suggesting main attractions and she also replied very quick to our request.the apartment is close to center you can reach walkimg few mins

Beautiful home, close to many restaurants and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The bed was very comfortable. One thing to note is that you can hear almost everything outside and if there are people talking or driving by it is easily heard in the bedroom but the neighbour hood is quiet otherwise, other than that it was a very comfortable stay and safe!

My girlfriend and I spent a few days at Casita Coco and we cannot say enough good about the accommodation and the hosts. The check in was very easy along with the directions provided being very clear for finding the place. There are many great beaches nearby within a short drive or walking distance in a lot of cases. The restaurant selection is also wonderful and there is a market nearby to get something to cook if you wanted to spend a nice evening in together. Lastly we were very impressed with not only the cleanliness and decor, the scenery and amenities also really stood out. We will absolutely be back as everything about Casita Coco was a positive experience for us. Thank you Claire and Christophe :)

The apartment was just perfect for our week long stay. It was huge with plenty of space. The kitchen had all the things we needed to make coffee and cocktails. We even had a full size fridge. The rooftop area was an added plus. We hung out there at night and could hear the howler monkeys. The apartment is also a 5-10 minute walk to Playa Brasalitp and local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family of 4 (2 parents and 2 teens) spent a week at Benton's place and loved every second. The home is gorgeous and exceptionally well stocked. The beds are very comfortable (something that is very important to us) and the spaces are pleasant. The view is second to none! If you are looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of your own life or busy tourist locations to recharge, this place is it. Benton was incredibly helpful, friendly and responsive. He booked a fantastic chef for us for 3 meals (some of the best meals we had while in the area) and a wonderful snorkeling adventure. He also gave us great recommendations on the best grocery stores and restaurants in the area. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Casa Azul and what a thoughtful and kind host Benton is. You won't be disappointed with a stay here.

The Casa Vera Vista was a beautiful villa on the cliff side over looking the bay with the most beautiful sunsets. The villa was close to the beach and great restaurants plus a good starting point for many excursions. The concierge team was always there when we needed them throughout the entire trip as well as with planning prior to arriving. The house was very clean, decorated very tastefully and had comfortable beds. The daily cleaning service was very helpful with three kiddos in tow. We had two dinners and breakfast with the recommended chefs and they exceeded our expectations, with both delicious food and friendly company. Our driver Raudy was always on time, professional and was very helpful in getting around with our busy itinerary. We definitely did a lot on our trip (zip lining, deep sea fishing, ATVs, snorkeling, rainforest, waterfalls, hot springs etc) and staying at the villa with the concierge service made it that much more special. We had a fantastic stay. It was the perfect spot for our family, and we appreciated how well-stocked the kitchen was, as well as the availability of beach towels. It felt like home for the few weeks we were there. Alexandre was really helpful and friendly, and gave great recommendations for the area. Would stay again!

5 Stars – Best Airbnb I’ve Stayed In! This place was absolutely perfect! The location is excellent—just 50 yards from the beach, which made it incredibly convenient to enjoy the ocean every day. The home itself was spotless, with a beautiful pool and a well-equipped, modern kitchen. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Vidal was amazing—super helpful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Hands down, this is the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

Amazing place to stay with the family

Our stay in Potrero was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. Francisco was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Amy was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, always available to answer questions and offer helpful local recommendations. The home had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable—truly a home away from home. The pool was nice and refreshing, a wonderful addition that made relaxing after a day of exploring even better. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the sunset experience in Las Catalinas and dining at Sentido Norte. Do yourself a favor and make time for both. The views are breathtaking, and the food and atmosphere at Sentido Norte are top-notch. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and well-hosted Costa Rican getaway!

Great place to stay if you want to be in walking distance of food and beaches in Potrero. Very nice, and modern feel inside in the house.

The villa was amazing. Exactly as shown and described. Had a wonderful time, really enjoyed the villa . The view was amazing. Pastora and her husband were kind and very responsive to anything we needed. The area was fantastic. Plenty of options for adventures. Great restaurants . Locals were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning.

This apartment was a fantastic find. My favorite part was the rooftop patio, which had stunning views of the bay and unforgettable sunsets every evening. The complex has several pools, and my husband and I found our favorite: a shaded one with plenty of loungers and chairs, perfect for cooling off during the 35°C days. The location is ideal — just a short walk to the beach, neighbourhood restaurants, and coffee shops. We even caught a Toronto Maple Leafs playoff game at The Wave bar nearby! 8 minute walk to main street, where we discovered some great restaurants and charming shops. I even bought a beautiful ring at Amano Jewelry, a locally owned shop run by a husband and wife team who sell their own creations along with pieces by other local artists. Dorita was a wonderful host. Her instructions were clear and helpful. She was also very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. Highly recommended — we’d absolutely stay here again!

This place is fantastic, spotless, well equipped, secure, easy to access and a beautiful ocean view. The beach chairs/umbrella are a great bonus which we used to enjoy Playa Flamingo in comfort David is a generous, responsive host. Thank you for hosting us.

Fantastic Airbnb & super gracious host. Beautiful place, tons of extra amenities and well thought out provisions. Kitchen is excellent, vaulted ceilings make the unit feel very spacious. Balcony is just lovely, with great views of Tamarindo bay and sunsets in June and better than any photo could portray. Lucio goes above and beyond as a host. Highly recommend the unit and will be back.

We loved our stay here! Diana’s home is lovely and welcoming. We enjoyed having all necessary items-including beach gear-and enjoyed the pool after our outings. Diana’s recommendations were fantastic and led us to several memorable sunsets and delicious meals. We would love to return. It’s a wonderful home base for exploring the north coast.

Great location, our only wish is that the property would have an elevator. Everything about this condo was exactly as listed, great private beach to anyone that finds this place.

We had an amazing stay at Condo Coral! The space was spotless, beautifully renovated, and exactly as described — even better in person. The location is perfect: peaceful yet just minutes from the beach, restaurants, and shops. The kitchen was fully stocked, beds were super comfortable, and we especially loved relaxing on the balcony with the ocean breeze. Katie & Happy were excellent hosts — very responsive and helpful throughout. We would definitely stay here again!

The location is prime. You are 5min walking distance to a beautiful beaxh. In addition, there are plenty of restaurants around. Daphne was very helpful as well during our visit.

We have stayed in lots of places with AirBnb, but this place was extra special. The views were incredible. We loved having the beach so close by and the marina with walkable restaurants. Very safe area day and night. Then there was two pools on site both with views. We saw a troupe of monkeys in the trees behind the apartments on day 2 a real bonus. The apartment was well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay including a welcome bottle of wine. We really enjoyed our holiday! Book this apartment we won’t regret it!
