Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Larue County

Excellent location, comfortable and quiet. Overall a wonderful place to stay! I would suggest a few basic items added to kitchen utensils for those on special diets that need to prepare food for themselves while traveling but overall excellent.

We had a great stay at Jim’s place! It was private, clean and as described. Very comfortable for our group. Jim was friendly and very communicative- he even offered to start a bonfire for us during our stay and checked with us after our first night to ensure our accommodations were to our liking.

We stayed for a Ripken tournament and we were right at home! The beds were comfortable, house extremely clean, and such a homey environment. Everything you’d have at home was here! Plenty of name brand supplies! Josh was an excellent host, had great communication and was so welcoming! Highly recommend and will stay here again if we have another tournament in the future.

Ronnie’s home exceeded our expectations. This Airbnb actually felt like someone’s home, meaning it has beautiful decorations, any kitchen utensil you could imagine, and a lot of love put into making the property it is. The property was peaceful, loved our mornings outside drinking coffee, watching the deer. Would recommend this to people needing ample space, looking to relax. Thanks again. Jacqueline

First trip withAirBNB and I don’t think anyone will top it! From the moment we arrived, I knew we hit the jackpot. We walked in, it felt like home, and immediately took the stress off my shoulders. Marcia’s personal touches were flawless! Snacks, several options for the Keurig, so many blankets, extra towels, and everything else you could possibly need for your stay! The shower is always something I worry about but this one was great! Big walk-in shower with good pressure. The recliner and couch can be dangerous because they are so incredibly comfortable! My 6’2” son slept very comfortably on the couch. The bed is wonderful as well. It made it very hard to get up and moving… I simply did not want to leave it! My son and I were in town for a baseball tournament and this place was absolutely perfect for us! 5 minutes from the fields and just a few minutes from anything you could possibly want or need. Marcia was so much more than we could’ve asked for in a host. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a great stay, she let me check out an hour later which was very helpful. Loved the fact that there was a lot of extra towels, and there was stuff in the kitchen for cooking (which a lot of bnbs don’t have) my only complaint is that the neighbors kids were a little noisy during the day but obviously the host can’t help that lol. Overall I had a great stay and it was great for what I needed. I would definitely stay here again while in E-town.

Beautiful apartment that is designed like a large three bedroom condo. We walked to shops and restaurants and drove to Louisville and the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln. Cameron was an outstanding host. She responds quickly in the app and sent someone to take care of a minor maintenance issue promptly. The two bedrooms facing the street do get a fair amount of engine and stereo noise from the cars below, so put kids in the third bedroom in the back, away from the street. Ear plugs and white noise apps did the trick for the most part. Loved the provided games including an electronic arcade multi-game, deluxe monopoly and board and card games. The building and the apartment are very secure, and are located in a very safe, post card-friendly downtown. We highly recommend Above Dixie A, or any property Cameron manages.

Todd’s place is a great place to stay and great location. This is where we prefer to stay when in E-Town.

Beautiful loft apartment in the heart of E Town. Plenty of free parking and an easy stroll for food, coffee, or drinks. 10/10 recommend

We were in town for a soccer tournament and glad the hotels were full so we had a chance to find this place. Great location on the square. Perfect for three of us and less than 10min from the sports complex! The host is very responsive and everything was straight forward. Hands down best staying in a hotel!
