Vacation rentals with lake access in LaPorte County

Stayed there for almost a month never had a problem really clean and a quiet neighborhood I’ll definitely stay there again and the host responds very quickly 100% recommend this house !

We had such a wonderful weekend getaway at this property. Very close to the beach along with the hot tub and fire pit it made for the perfect vacation. Inside was cosy and welcoming. There is a little pizza place down the road. Lots of beautiful nature preserves to go hiking and we stopped off at 3 Oaks for a fantastic lunch. Thank you for helping us have the perfect Easter and for all your great communication and flexibility.

We had a great weekend here! The house had plenty of space for the 5 of us and more than enough room to cook together, play games, and spend a night in. Would definitely recommend for other groups visiting the area.

This place is awesome private and peaceful the house has everything you need including a bbq pit and a fire pit to relax for the ones that book it in the summer to enjoy the beach area this place is for you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The house is very tidy with plenty of space for our group to cook, eat, lounge and enjoy each other's company. We liked the large table where we set up a jigsaw puzzle and still had room for mealtime. The space in the kitchen allowed us to prepare meals together rather than one person having to do it alone. Kitchen also had a lot of necessity items for cooking. Amy was very helpful with being flexible on check in and out times. I think it would be a good idea to include a few instructions on paper in a folder. Airbnb site was down so we had to contact Amy for the instructions on locking the door when we were leaving. The area was not crowded as we stayed in Nov, off season, definitely planned that way. I imagine summertime would have had more folks staying in the other units and we would have wanted a bit more privacy. Overall it was the quiet relaxing weekend we all looked forward to especially the wonderful hot tub.

Great experience! Host was super helpful and proactive. Easy to check in, closer to the lake than expected. Even though it was colder than anticipated there was a lot to do I. The home as well. Also close to the Dunes National and State Parks. Would recommend and stay again!

The house is an easy walk to the beach. Huge rooms with plenty of beds for our 15 family members in town for a wedding. Great kitchen with plenty of place settings and pans/utensils.

Totally enjoyed our stay. The house felt like home. Very comfortable, clean. We enjoyed the fire pit (fire already laid for us), all the puzzles, and the bikes to ride around the quiet neighborhood. Saw lots of deer and wildlife. Kitchen had everything we needed, lots of bath towels and hooks. Beds were comfortable. We appreciated the flexible check-in and check-out times. We want to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the huge screened in porch and to see the garden.

Everything about the property was great. It’s quaint, very clean, super comfortable bed, great linens (I could smell the cleanliness on them like they’d just come out of the dryer). Bathroom was and nice. I could not find any fault in this property at all.

I am a repeat visitor for a good reason! It’s perfect for visiting family and bringing my four legged pal with. It’s very pet friendly and easy to access.

We had a wonderful time a the Scenic skies unit. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had such a warm and cozy atmosphere. The little touches they added made us feel at home and appreciated. The location was fantastic and close to everything. It was a perfect space to relax and recharge. Kirby & Taryn are lovely hosts and were very very responsive to any questions we may have had. We highly recommend!

Lisa was an amazing host! The location was great right on the lake and the space had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying with her!

Carlo’s accommodation was perfect for our group. Comfortable and great kitchen. We made use of the shared patio. We were on a golf trip in the area with a larger crew and the location and Airbnb itself was perfect for our stay. Thanks Carlo!

We absolutely loved our stay at “the dump”and rate this a 4.8! Photos do not do this place justice, it’s incredibly well maintained and perfectly beach themed with modern touches. The kitchen is updated and had everything we needed, including toddler friendly cups, bowls, plates (which was a bonus). Couch, kitchen chairs, pillows and beds were comfortable. Beach area is absolutely incredible, very large and there are shells which our toddler loved collecting. What would make this a 5 star: umbrella or shade structure for the beach when needed (it was super hot during our stay), deep cleaning of all cob webs under and around furniture, filters for coffee machine, dishwasher pods, laundry pods/detergent, luggage stands, hooks everywhere for clothes, bathing suits, towels, etc., filtered water brita or similar. Overall an amazing long weekend spent on the beach, we even added an additional day to our stay and it was super easy. Thank you so much; we will be back!!

We used this house for a girls getaway long weekend and had a great time! We always like Michigan city for restaurants, the lake, outlet malls and more. The house was adorable and while it has close neighbors, it’s nestled in trees and felt private. We loved all the natural light that came in the house from big windows and enjoyed sitting outside on multiple decks! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Our hosts were extremely kind and responsive! We would definitely stay again…

Anna was extremely understanding of our circumstances! We had some hiccups with our family and had to shuffle the guests that stayed at their lovely cottage, They went above and beyond with their understanding and made us feel comfortable. 🧡😊 Highly recommend! ✌️

Louise's house is magical. I've never felt more at home in an Airbnb. The minute you open the door, you are surrounded by the beautiful colors in her gorgeous fabrics and rugs. Louise has thought of everything-from lots of towels (high humidity area and longer drying time), an incredibly well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and lots of different seating areas and options. The screened in porch is beyond relaxing. Early mornings on the porch, listening to the birds, was my favorite way to start the day. The neighborhood beaches (15 minute walk) were private, quiet, and beautiful. Sunset at Stop 39 is the best. The beach town of New Buffalo is only a 10 minute drive, with fun rooftop restaurants and a larger beach. A farm for blueberry picking is also close by. We hope to return to Louise's again!

OMG! We enjoyed our stay so much. Ryan's place made the perfect fall retreat. The surroundings were so peaceful. It was a short drive to Michigan City and New Buffalo. Lots of posh restaurants and shopping too. His place was clean and very well decorated. The beds were comfy. It felt like we were right at home. I would definitely book again.
