Lovely stay, highly recommend Lil's place. The location is awesome, so relaxing, comfortable bed, everything you need for a great stay is provided, love there is a full size fridge, BBQ, washing machine and dryer amongst other essentials. Lil is very helpful and there is plenty of information about walks, where to go and what to see. Being able to walk across the road to the water each day was a bonus and the views from the unit are forever changing as the tides come and go and the sun rises and sets. Some days there are cattle next door at the fence. I highly recommend staying and will return in the near future.

The house was perfect for the five of us. It has lots of space, the hosts were very generous with the condiments and the space was light, comfortable and really clean and tidy. The wi fi was also brilliant!. While the house is nice and peaceful it is a short drive to the shops and about 10 minutes from the beach. We didn’t find this a problem and Leone and Mark were awesome to deal with.

We loved our stay at Anette's place. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, and has a friendly homely feel. Great shower, a very comfortable king size bed, cosy sitting room and a very friendly cat. It's a very short walk down to the beach and we really enjoyed our evening walks along the walkway. Anette was helpful, and available any time, but otherwise gave us privacy. We would definitely love to come back!

The house is very new, very clean, and very well equipped. In the kitchen, you will find all the kitchenware and dining utensils. Parking is at your doorstep. The neighborhood is quiet, not far 5, 6 minutes walk there is a small Everard Reserve park where kids like to go every day.

Second time I’ve stayed here and did not disappoint. Again, highly recommend to anyone wanting value for money + peaceful surroundings

We had a great 3 night stay as a 2x couple group. It was great having a bathroom ensuite for each bedroom and also a toilet on the ground floor. Maybe shampoo & conditioner would be useful. The kitchen was well equipped. We did have 2 vehicles so had to park one across the road on the road for the duration of our stay. Location was excellent - walking distance to the Saturday Markets, Restaurants & cafés. Dined at The Rusty Pelican, the Matakana Pub Restaurant & Tram Car Takeaways. The Movie Theatre is iconic too. Had a great evening there - also walkable.

Highly recommend going with Adriana & Michael. Super tidy, super spacious and very reasonably priced. Would 100% book again!

We've just had a lovely 3 night stay with our 2 kids and are already talking about possibly coming back next summer! The house is right on the water (but fully fenced which was great with 2 young girls) and had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing few days away from home. We took the kayaks out a couple of times which our girls loved, and made the most of having a spa on site as well! Really comfortable beds and loved that there was a bedroom for each of the girls. Kitchen had everything we needed, even a box of chocolates for us to enjoy during our stay :-) The girls especially loved the kind gift Lyndsay gave them when we arrived! Thanks again for your amazing hospitality and we hope to see you again!

A nice spacious bach with plenty of room for the kids. It has most of the mod-cons you'd expect, but also retains the "Bach" feeling very well. It's in a great location, with the boat ramp very close by, and beautiful coast/beaches within an easy walk. Harvey was great to deal with, and very responsive.

I had a wonderful stay at this house! The space was cozy and comfortable, with everything I needed to relax and unwind. The location was great too, and I appreciated the warm hospitality. We absolutely loved our stay at Sue and Chris's property. The house was not only beautifully decorated but also very comfortable. The amenities were well thought out, and everything we required was readily available. We would recommend it to anybody looking for an enjoyable getaway!

Lovely place to spend a few days with some old friends. Location was amazing, just a short walk over the dunes to the beautiful beach. Pool table, table tennis table and large decks with a BBQ on one were great to have.Looking forward to coming back to stay

We loved our stay at Gay’s pool suite. The decorations were so charming, the gardens lush, the pool so fun right outside. And Gay made a bunch of garden games available to our kids which was awesome. Everything we needed was there. It was a lovely stay.

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

My family and I really love Lorraine’s dream home,everything is perfect, far beyond my expectations.The location is the best, it’s just a stone’s throw away from the beach, and there are lots of lovely bistros and a great supermarket here, you can get all the things you need.
