The place is nice and cozy like the pic, great amenities and breakfast, there's even housekeeping daily which we weren't expecting, this is better than hotel, totally worth of money. Staffs are friendly and approachable. Location is very convenient as well, very near cenang beach, food truck, mall, restaurants etc. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Langkawi!

Exceptional hospitality by a family of unparalleled generosity. I stayed 4 nights and felt at home in this unique house. I regretted not being able to stay any longer. Occasionally, I'll be happy to come back. How well I slept in this awesome room under the roof! Lulled by the sounds of the nearby forest. And no need for air conditioning, the vents are enough as in traditional wooden houses. On the ground floor, a gallery of wooden sculptural works. On the first floor, painting gallery. Indeed, we are in a family of artists... On this same floor is a common area terrace to have breakfast or relax. A big thank you to Norma, TJ, Farhana, Oliver and Balqis for your hospitality and kindness. I will not forget you.

Beachfront Private Villa 8 A Resort by the Sea

Where to start! Benjamins place was stunning and I wish we never had to leave. From the get go Benjamin was so responsive and helpful and put me in touch with the hotel manager Mr Vassa (a god send!). The room was spacious with a lovely view of the beach and sunset, the outdoor bathroom was so cool and I want to steal the design idea for our house back home! The pool was lovely and never busy and breakfast was stunning. We also ate at Coco’s bistro which is right next to the resort (we could be there in less than a minute walking distance) and the food was some of the best we’ve had in SEA so far. Lastly, Mr Vassa gets a special shout out because he continued to go above and beyond for us during our stay, he always welcomed us with a smile and some advice about the island and helped us in a sticky situation as well. We hope we meet him again on our next stay. All in all, my favourite Airbnb booking to date.

Ed offers a very nice experience to explore the area on a boat. He is a very pleasant chatty individual who takes great care of his guests. It's not a trip for people who are all about privacy as you have to work together during the cruise. Ed is a Conservative risk taker so your safety will be his first priority on the boat.

With 5 of us, we had the cottage to ourselves which was excellent. Although the decor, furniture and equipment are dated, they worked well and we had a very comfortable stay. Outstanding view over the yacht club and complimentary access to the pool, gym and other facilities were great. Daily breakfast and cleaning provided were bonuses. Lots of very good restaurants in the vicinity made the whole experience very convenient and enjoyable.
