Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. From the window of the upper floor of the renovated barn, which is located next to our farm, you have a view of the Cabauwse mill, and if you are lucky the stork will be brooding across the street. This beautiful cottage used to be a 100-year-old wagon barn, of which old beams have remained in sight as much as possible. The cottage is in the yard of our 400-year-old monumental stool farmhouse, where we live with our sheep, chickens and dog. The cottage features a private outdoor seating area. Opposite the farm are the floodplains of the river Lek with the many nice little beaches. And a stone's throw away is the cozy silver town of Schoonhoven.

We were warmly welcomed and were able to go directly into the house. Riet lives right next door and was always available for questions. Everything was super clean and well appointed. The area was just fantastically beautiful. Plenty of space to stay indoors even in bad weather. We would come back.

Cherry Cottage is a little paradise! The cottage is furnished with so much heart and attention to detail – super cozy, very clean and well equipped. You feel immediately welcome and can really unwind. An absolute highlight was the hot tub, which is heated with wood – pure relaxation in the middle of this wonderfully quiet environment. The adjacent sheep pasture was simply idyllic, as was the entire location of the cottage – totally quiet, plenty of privacy and simply ideal for relaxing. We felt completely comfortable and would be very happy to come back. If you are looking for a cozy break in beautiful nature, this is the place to be. Thank you for this wonderful stay!
