The house was beautifully located by the water, we were lucky with the weather and was able to enjoy most of the time on the terrace enjoying the amazing scenic view. It was only 8 mins drive to Maastricht. We were there as a group of 10 friends and we had lots of space to enjoy it together. Bert communicated very well and promptly replied to enquiries. Thank you for our enjoyable stay!

The cottage is gorgeous, it’s like being in a Pinterest dream😍 Everything is perfect and aesthetic! The kitchen is fully equipped to cook a nice dinner and breakfast, everything was prepared to not have to leave the house at all. The surroundings are also beautiful and peaceful, ideal for a nice long walk if the weather allows! A lot of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The outside of the cottage is very romantic as well. The only downside is that we could not manage to warm up the hot tub enough (we used all the wood and still it was below 30 degrees so maybe better for warmer weather) We loved the place and we will definitely come back for our 2nd anniversary next year 🥰

We had a very nice time at Yvo's place! He welcomed us in a very friendly way with a bottle of wine in the fridge and was always available for questions. The accommodation is very cozy and well equipped both inside and on the terrace 😊 The location is perfect - Roermond and Maastricht can be reached very quickly. Highlight for young and old: The small petting zoo right outside the front door on the park grounds😉😁 We thank Yvo for the lovely time and would come back any time! 😊

The house is super nice and cozy. Nothing is missing so far. Attention, sauna and hot tub must be heated with wood. Don't be shy about this. The sauna was in a neat, clean condition (lying down not possible). The hot tub was clean and prepared with chlorine. You have to let in the water yourself, so you also know directly that it is fresh. Unfortunately, the lighting doesn't work here. The garden/outdoor area could use some care and attention to rank it even higher. The hammock was unusable, unfortunately full of bird droppings. We reported minor defects or defective utensils to the landlord. They reacted positively to the information and would like to respond. If you want to experience an undisturbed break paired with wellness and a beautiful, idyllic location among many trees, this is the place to be. Thanks for the pleasant weekend. 😃👍🏼

I've been to many AirBnBs and this one really stands out. The place is perfect for a little getaway and in a location that feels like a hidden gem in Belgium. The apartment itself is spacious, very modern, clean and has every you need to make you feel right at home. The hosts are super responsive and proactive, with a keen understanding of what you need. The little house in the backyard, or as our son called it 'his castle', was perfect for him to play in, while we sipped wine underneath. This place is highly recommended.

We enjoyed 2 nights in Bart's chalet. The welcome and explanation by Gudrun was very warm and it was wonderful to get inside with the fireplace and lights on. It immediately felt very welcome, especially because of the box of chocolates and some stock in the kitchen. The rooms are spacious and practical. All amenities work properly and the shower is powerful, which can sometimes be less at a holiday park. The wooden beds were comfortable, but in combination with the wooden floor upstairs, it creaked occasionally. The big plus was the wood stove and the spacious garden with swing. We even saw a squirrel on the terrace, very nice. Parking space next to the house was also very handy. Bart, thank you for the pleasant communication & good care!

We stayed for several weeks and had a amazing time. The location is so serene and beautiful while still being near cities. Living in the middle of nature was very special. Something to consider is that the house is quite clairaudient, which was no problem for us at all. Overall we are super satisfied. We highly suggest this House.

Very clean and comfortable living space, well designed. The camping park is a good quality and the food from the onsite bistro is of an unexpectedly high quality, very-very good. My only constructive comments are that the camp site was a bit too crowded (but it was summer), and that the bistro did not offer a dine-in breakfast service, I am sure that there is a need and an opportunity. That said, it did not detract from my experience and I did not reduce the rating.

We loved our stay in the cottage "De Eik". Everything was perfectly fine: clean, cozy and really equipped with all the comforts. We felt right at home there. The wooded area is beautiful and we were able to enjoy hiking, mountain biking and relaxing. Also the contact with the hosts was super friendly and smooth. We're already looking forward to next time. Highly recommended for those who want to get away!

Had wonderful days at this beautiful and nice place. Marco and Patricia are really friendly and helpful and welcoming. A place that has put a lot of time and attention into it. Sparkling clean and beautiful materials. A very comfortable stay. The village itself does not have much entertainment, but a half hour walk is Eijsden where you can eat deliciously and the walk along the water is very nice. The bus connection to Maastricht is top and the city itself is of course a feast for Burgundians and lovers of shopping and culture. Recommended for a weekend getaway!

Overall a nice place, clean and quiet. The stay was pleasant and relaxing. The host provided good information to get to the property but is not present on arrival (now a bad habit in B&B rentals) and was very kind and collaborative on the phone. I recommend this structure although there are a few things to correct that I would like to emphasize in the spirit of collaboration with the host. The house is within a tourist village of many similar houses in small neighboring land; this feature is not clearly indicated in the description and photos (I fear that in high season it is not as quiet as it is in March). The photos are too “well done”. The host hasn't provided towels (but let us know in advance). The sheets are clean but a little old and worn. It would not be wrong to provide a minimum of basic necessities given the distance from the mall.

Had a very nice stay, super walking and being able to sit quietly on the terrace to play a game of darts with an aperitif. Very nice stay.

The hotel room features two single box spring beds covered with fresh linens. A large television is mounted on the wall, displaying useful information. A relaxation corner includes a fridge and a Nespresso machine, with natural light streaming through the window.

Lovely apartment with very good decor, high quality kitchen area and great views from the large balcony. New park with everything you need, technically modern with very polite and helpful people. Humphrey's is a good restaurant, there are other good addresses in Thorn. The surrounding area is great for walking, biking, water sports, sightseeing and shopping. You're in Holland, almost everything works without much trouble and people are nice :)

We had a great stay. The cottage is compact but you have everything you need. It is very atmospheric and the pellet stove is an absolute added value. Also very nice that the kitchen is so well furnished! I can only recommend this stay!

Thoughtfully decorated place, part of a peaceful and green bungalow park. Hoge Kempen literally starts where the park ends, nice cities like Maastricht, Hasselt nearby, and the Walloon countryside is also within grasp. Would recommend!!
