We had a wonderful and very comfortable stay at Giannis’ apartment. Giannis is a great host, communicative, helpful and friendly. He was also flexible with our departure time. He arranged everything to make our stay with our toddler unforgettable. The apartment is in a very nice location: 15 min by car from Old Town, in a quiet neighborhood with free parking, from where you can explore Corfu easily by car in all directions. It is 8 min by car from a big supermarket (AB Βasilopoulos) that has plenty of biological products. The apartment itself is spacious, nicely decorated and with 2 balconies with stunning and relaxing views. It has all the necessary equipment for a nice and comfortable stay, also for families with small children. It felt really like home and we did not want to leave :) We definitely recommend Giannis’ apartment!

The peaceful and private location right at the water's edge is unbeatable. You can have breakfast and dinner in the garden, use the sun-loungers and go swimming in crystal clear water. Sotirios gave us a lot of helpful information on sightseeing off the beaten track. Restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance if you don't have a car. We would love to come back.

I am originally from Corfu but I've been living abroad for most of my life. I contemplated writing this review in Greek, but the reality is that Corfiots already know what a gem of a flat this is. So I am writing this in English to help anyone else who wants to visit. This is the most amazing AirBnB you will find in Corfu old town, period. If you've watched the Durrell tv series and wondered how it would feel to live in that era, but with modern amenities and comfort, look no further. Maria and Francesca's place is the most warm, authentic, well-kept, 200 year old apartment I have ever been to. St. Spiridon, Old and New Fortress, Liston square, Faliraki beach, Yacht Club, Kapodistrias' home, the Sunrise and Sunset are all there for you to enjoy from your countless windows or the one-of-a-kind Belvedere outpost, accessible by an interior staircase. Now, if you happen to spend Greek Easter here, you are in for a treat. You can see the fireworks, marching bands etc. right in front of you!

Excellent séjour chez Ana qui était aux petits soins pour nous. Nous a donné plein d indications et d adresses pour notre séjour. Des petites attentions à notre arrivée (bouteilles d eau et de vin) lors de notre séjour et même à notre départ une hôte formidable. La maison proche de la mer offre une place pour se garer très pratique dans cette île où le stationnement n est pas aisé. Que dire de plus que je vous pouvez aller dans ce logement les yeux fermés. 😉😎

We enjoyed a lovely week at Sunrise at the beginning of June. The apartment is well equipped with modern features and the air conditioning was particularly effective and allowed us a great nights sleep in the very warm weather. The balcony is superb and offers stunning views across the bay to Corfu Town. The accommodation is well located above Barbati, although the hill can be a little daunting, on foot, after an evening out. Alexandra & her husband are discreetly on hand, if needed - thank you, both!!

Absolutely perfect – a top stay in Corfu So glad we found this place—it was perfect. I’m picky about where I stay, but this one is definitely on my top list. The apartment was modern, spacious, and felt truly luxurious, perfect for our family of four (and could easily fit six). The view was stunning, and we loved sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. Great location with amazing spots nearby. The host, Nikos, was responsive and shared helpful local tips. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Vivi was a wonderful host and very helpful from start to finish. She offered to arrange a private transfer from the airport, she gave us recommendations for local beaches and helped us navigate the tricky public transport system. Vivi was always quick to respond and keen to assist us with anything we had an issue with. The studio was lovely - bright and clean and exactly like the description. It's literally a two minute walk from Kalami beach and right across from a supermarket. I cannot recommend Vivi's place enough!

Das Appartment befindet sich in der Mitte eines Dreier-Hauses, daneben die Eigentümer und auf der anderen Seite ein größeres Ferien-Appartment. Es hat ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und ein Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten, eine Küchenzeile und ein kleines Bad, (kein Wohnzimmer), und eine schöne Terrasse zugänglich über ein Schlafzimmer mit großem Tisch und davor Liegen auf dem Rasen. Das Haus befindet sich direkt am Steilhang über dem Meer mit phantastischer Aussicht und Wellenrauschen. Über einen kleinen Umweg nur 5 Min. zu Fuß zum herrlichen, nicht übervölkerten Sand-Strand. Die Besitzer sind extrem nett und haben uns ständig beschenkt mit Salat und Orangen aus dem Garten, Essen, Keksen etc. Leider können wir kein griechisch, daher meist Zeichensprache. In 5 Min. zu Fuß sind drei Restaurants, mit dem Auto 15 Min zu touristischeren Orten. Wenn man Ruhe, wunderbare Aussicht und außerordentlich freundliche Vermieter sucht, ist man hier perfekt aufgehoben. DANKE!

We had a great time in Avgi’s apartment. The unit is very cosy, well equipped, and conveniently located close to the center of Pelekas. The highlight is the deck with a fantastic view towards the Agii Deka mountain. Pelekas is a quiet town with good infrastructure, a really nice bakery close to the apartment, a small supermarket, and a couple of good restaurants. In May, not many tourists were around. We came for hiking and explored all parts of Corfu. For this, Pelekas is a good base station with even the most Northern and Southern areas of Corfu not more than a one hour drive away. The hosts were very attentive throughout our stay. We highly recommend Avgi’s apartment!

Wir hatten tolle anderthalb Wochen bei Eftihia und ihrer Familie. Die Wohnung liegt in einem wunderschönen Dorf in der Mitte der Insel, sodass alles gut zu erreichen ist wenn man ein Auto hat. Das konnten wir fast immer etwas unterhalb des Dorfkerns parken. Eftihias Mama hat während unseres Aufenthaltes zweimal geputzt und uns neue Handtücher gebracht, sodass wir uns fast wie im Hotel gefühlt haben… das war überraschend und sehr lieb. Ausgestattet ist die Wohnung mit allem was man braucht und noch mehr, es gab zusätzlich Wein, Saft, Wasser, Zahnbürsten und sogar Mückenschutz. Die Küche hat alles was Selbstversorger brauchen, gefrühstückt werden kann auf einem der schönen Balkons. Alles ist wie auf den Bildern dargestellt, wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Sinarades und würden den Aufenthalt bei Eftihia jedem unserer Freunde empfehlen. Vielen Dank!!

Très beau logement, spacieux, propre et très bien situé. Efi est une hôte très agréable, souriante et disponible.

Athanassia and her parents were incredibly friendly and made us feel like home. We were greeted with a wonderful dinner cooked by Athanassia’s dad and it was such a fantastic, friendly welcome! The place is wonderful. You can never get bored of the beautiful views from every room. It is perfect for 3-4 couples / small families. There was enough space for everyone and we never felt “stuck” with the same people. The pool is such a wonderful addition and a complete must have in hot summer months. We absolutely enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and did cook quite a lot. Swings is a nice addition for families with small kids - it was the main place to hang out. Also the garden is big and has many trees and plants and it was amazing to just roam around and for kids to look for bugs and flowers. They were never bored there and we stayed for 11 nights! Loads of tavernas in 5-10min drive distance. The roads near by are not really for walking so we suggest to use car for commuting. Thank you so much ❤

Wir waren um Ostern dort. Haben die Zeit sehr genossen, da Socrates stets nur auf Ansprache mit uns ins Gespräch ging, hielt sich sonst im Hintergrund. Er wohnt in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Kontakt immer super nett. Die Lage ist angenehm ruhig, gut entfernt von den größeren Ferienanlagen, sodass man sogar im Sommer wohl einen sehr wenig besuchten Strandabschnitt unmittelbar hinterm Haus (phänomenal direkte Sicht aufs Meer/ Sonnenuntergänge), oder bei uns war es nur über die kl. Straße hinweg über sein weiteres Grundstück direkt erreichbar. Direkt am CorfuTrail gelegen. Man sollte ein Mietfahrzeug haben, um einkaufen und v.a. aus Essen gehen zu können. Der Norden bietet soviel Abwechslung zum entdecken. Googeln oder Socrates fragen🙂. Sollte man unbedingt nutzen die Lage. Einfach nur herrlich gewesen. Sehr gerne wieder! Sein Hund und die Katzen der Umgebung kamen uns schon mal besuchen-super liebe Tiere. Bis bald.

We stayed for a week and the house easily felt like a home to us. It really has everything you need. You need to do laundry? - here’s laundry detergent and the working washing machine. It’s raining? - take any of the 2(!) umbrellas from the wardrobe. The house really has everything. The area is very good, lots of restaurants you can either walk to (10-15min) or drive by car. We ended up cooking a lot inside because the kitchen is very well equipped and the terrace is super nice for the dinners. Overall, we really liked our stay!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Stamatis und seiner Familie :) Von Anfang an haben wir uns wohl gefühlt. Mit dem Blick aufs Meer lässt es sich morgens hervorragend frühstücken und Abends lädt die Hängematte zum Verweilen ein. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet und grenzt direkt an einen Wanderweg. Zu Fuß sind es 10/15 Minuten zum Strand und Arillas ist ein schönes nicht zu überlaufendes Dorf. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen.

Alexandros welcomed us in person and was as friendly as someone can be. He showed us the whole Apartment and Had great advices for the Island. When visiting Corfu again we definately come Back to the beautiful Gardenhouse. 11/10

Lidovois a été super gentil en m aidant à amener mon vélo et mes sacoches dans sa voiture sur la route pour mon départ . . Nous avons aussi discuté ensemble de divers sujets . Tout a été parfait et vraiment reposant dans l appartement. La plage est à 5 mns et c est superbe car pas trop envahi de location de transats . Génial . Eric

The apartment is in a top location and decorated in style with the area. We in particular enjoyed sitting on the little balcony, watching live go on in the street below. A street musician passed one evening while the swallows would be visiting us every morning and evening. An excellent stay in a beautiful town.

Maria und ihre Mom, sind einfach wundervoll. Ich habe mich gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war sehr ruhig und schön gelegen. Zum Strand ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Maria hat auf Anfragen meinerseits sehr zügig reagiert. So waren sie bereit mich an einen anderen Aufenthaltsort (Seminar) zu bringen. Auch Wäsche waschen, kein Problem, eine Waschmaschine stand zur Verfügung. Es war wirklich großartig und gerne wieder. Für die Familie alles Gute von Elisabeth

Kostas, war ein super freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Host. Er hat trotz Verspätung meines Fluges auf mich gewartet um mich nachts einzuchecken, hat mir hilfreiche Tipps gegeben und war alles in allem Großzügig! Gern wieder - Danke und alles Gute

Quiet flat even tho in the heart of old town, especially convenient, clean and has atmosphere, with lovely art work, Zoe was around/available if had any questions, and I had a beautiful 3 days in Corfu in part due to having the space.

Myrto was very helpful, accommodating a very late check in. She responded quickly to any questions we had and went out of her way to help. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and within easy walling distance of the old town of Corfu. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying at Myrto’s place.

Location, location, location is just fantastic. if you like to see beautiful sea straight from your balcony this is a place for you. The view is to die for! I would highly recommend. Apartment is very clean and perfect for a couple. We spent a lot of time enjoying balcony as well. Bed mattress is firm.

Ioanna hat hier eine tolle Wohnung! Die Lage am Rande der Altstadt in zweiter Reihe am Saroko-Platz ist ideal, um abends einen Rundgang zu machen, morgens fürs Frühstück auf dem schönen Balkon einzukaufen etc. Die Betten sind bequem mit vielen verschiede Decken und Kissen, die Küche ist top ausgestattet, Heisswasser funktioniert einwandfrei. Es gibt, abseits der bewachten Parkplätze, auch dann und wann einen freien im Viertel, wir waren Ende Mai da und haben immer einen gefunden. Die Busse fahren am Platz ab. Absolute Empfehlung für Korfu Stadt!
