Very peaceful, private and quiet. we loved the swing in the balcony and spa bath with a view.

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was perfectly secluded for privacy but easily accessible and close to town for easy access.

The photos do not do the view justice, was even better than I expected. Place was tidy and setup perfectly to make you feel right at home as you walked in. Total privacy and no road noise.

There was a miscommunication about the party lights - in the folder provided it told us how to use the lights, but then Host messaged to tell us they had them on a timer. Coolum Beach itself was a bit bland - not my ideal location. Overall enjoyed the stay, was peaceful and pleasant- really good spot for couples who want to just relax and enjoy each other’s company.

We had an amazing stay at Dayne’s place on our wedding anniversary weekend. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away for the weekend in a beautiful setting away from the hustle and bustle. We will be back! :)

Loved it!! So easy to Maleny and Montville for day trips and did the little Maleny trail walk to stretch (and walk off some of those treats). Highly recommend

Perfect Peaceful Retreat! We had a wonderful stay. The property was incredibly peaceful, just the perfect place to relax and unwind. The property was spotless and well-maintained, with all the essentials provided. It felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle, yet it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Steve was responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a serene getaway.

A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. We were two couples with our pooches and the accomodation was perfect. The property is warm and welcoming, the views to die for, and all the ammenities you need for a beautiful stay. We love food and wine and the well equipped kitchen allowed us to cook beautiful meals. The living space was more than adequate for 4, and our pups were very secure. Thank you to James and Roz who are great hosts.

The 2 bedroom cottage was fabulous with a great outside area. Easy walking distance to the beach. Great yard for the dogs. Definitely would recommend.

Our stay was magical. The surrounds and views from our cottage were amazing and breathtaking. The styling was something special and suited the cottage. Absolutely loved our stay at Steve and Gabi’s place. This was our first family holiday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The space was incredibly accommodating for our little one (under one year old), while also offering the peace, quiet, and serenity that made it ideal for us as a couple. It’s hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at - thoughtfully set up, beautifully maintained, and the perfect place to relax and reconnect. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and are looking forward to coming back.

Steve has nailed it. Comfortable, well appointed and really priced AirBnB cottage in the most beautiful setting - very private from Steve’s house also on property. We loved the rural outlook and cooked dinner on the Weber q as the sun went down on the back porch. A fire is also possible and was perfect for the cool early evening. Cabin itself is super clean, comfortable and well appointed. A perfect mini break from Brisbane with Cooroy being about 20 mins drive away for cafes, food and supplies if you don’t take your own in. We booked the Postman’s Cottage along with the main house and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage is a luxurious, peaceful retreat — beautifully styled, incredibly comfortable, and every detail was ten stars. A truly relaxing escape in the heart of Montville. Can’t wait to return! Being so close to revisit beautiful Palmwoods, Montviille & Maleny was wonderful as well. I enjoyed the solitude and loved seeing the animals roaming around the property. Such a pleasure to stay it a cabin filled with historical beauty and thought! My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a wedding just down the road and it was exactly what we wanted. 10 days in and it was the perfect home base while we helped get the bride and groom sorted for their big day. We got to explore the region on our own time. I loved the separate exterior bathroom!!! On multiple hot Maleny nights I sat in the deep - footed bath, relaxing, listening to the sound of cicadas, trees and decompressed from the day. Cindy and Rick are super easygoing and gracious hosts (Cindy’s brownies should be their own food group). It is well suited to those who respect craftsmanship, thought, simplicity but still with comfort, and a love when the cows come to say hello in the morning (behind the fence). We cant wait to get back there when it’s not 40 degrees so we can see that fire going! Thank you for looking after us x
