Lake houses in Lake Waco

The hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. I stayed here with 18+ people, and it didn’t feel overcrowded at all! It was a great space to hangout, and it was exactly what my friends and I needed. The house was very nice with plenty of amenities, and the front yard was such a fun hangout spot (especially at night with the great lighting). The beautiful lake is within walking distance, and it was absolutely perfect. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone, and I hope we’ll be back one day!

We enjoyed our weekend stay! We were down for a wedding right at the lake, so it was very convenient for us to be so close. We enjoyed that we got to do an early check-in since we were arriving before our normal scheduled time. Kathryn was very responsive anytime we messaged her and pretty accommodating! We would stay here again, for sure.

The drive getting there is very scenic. The area is peaceful. It’s very cozy and was perfect for our family, two adults into a teenagers. I absolutely loved that the house was fully stocked. The host was very thoughtful to have everything I needed to make the kiddos Homemade waffles. They had all the ingredients, utensils and the waffle making machine. The layout of the kitchen and the living room is such that everyone can watch TV together no matter where you’re sitting. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The bathroom has everything you need Including make up wipes, which was great for my daughter and I. The deck outside is lovely with plenty of seating space. The highlight was definitely the following morning when we got to see all of the cattle and horses upfront. We got to watch the cattle come up to the property from the creek. The host is very responsive and I appreciated the quick review of the stay request and detailed information on how to get there.

We came for a quick weekend trip, attended a concert at the Backyard (great venue) hit all the boutiques and farmer’s market on Saturday that was just a few blocks from the house. Plenty of room for 4 of us with everything we could possibly need. Loved the house, linens, and the decor. Highly recommend.

Such a peaceful special place on the edge of beautiful Lake Whitney. Our family of 6 stayed here for a long weekend meeting some other family who was staying nearby. Perfect place to get together and enjoy breakfast before a day on the lake and then in the evening to unwind/relax. Coffee on the outdoor sitting area near the fire pit was serene and relaxing listened to the birds sing their morning songs as well as the lake glistening in the distance. The neighbors dog hung out with us and what a friendly well fed old gentleman he was. Our kids loved him and couldn’t wait to see him every morning and evening. Can’t wait to return again and make more memories enjoying such a peaceful relaxing lake side home. Thank you.

It was a nice Airbnb and exactly what we needed! Very clean and comfortable. We felt right at home! Sitting on the porch was very peaceful and relaxing watching all the birds. Charles was very informative about the area and stores/restaurants close by. Would love to stay here again for a longer trip!

We booked Cassie’s place last minute due to complications at another listing. She was very quick to get us booked and had us set up and ready to go within an hour or so. The house was wonderful and very peaceful. The house has plenty of amenities that met our needs and great views! I would definitely book this place again and I would recommend to anyone who wants peace and quiet while they are seeing what Waco, Texas has to offer.

Very cozy home nestled in a lakes side community, there’s a boat ramp just within walking distance . The master bedroom has an impressive surprise of a huge tiled walk down in shower. As well as a door that goes straight to the screened in porch I found more than convenient. The parking is plentiful, my team had three vehicles and an enclosed trailer . No issues with space at all there was room for more . You could easily have three full truck and boat rigs parked here maybe 4 . Best part for me was the security on the property, it has cameras all around it which made me feel secure about being there and my possessions being safe outside . I use air bnb on a monthly basis and this is most definitely a property I will use again when in the area . The host is extremely helpful and friendly , I highly recommend if you’re in the area. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cottage near Lake Whitney! The location was serene and peaceful, perfect for a quiet getaway. The cottage itself was spotless when we arrived, and we appreciated the clear and easy instructions provided for check-in. The fire pit added an extra cozy touch, making our evenings even more special. Dusti, our host, went above and beyond by recommending nearby restaurants, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The privacy and tranquility of the property made it the perfect retreat. We can't wait to come back!

Such a peaceful space with the friendliest cows EVER! :) Beautiful setting - and such a great step-away from the big city... with only sounds of mother nature. I spent a peaceful afternoon on the patio and cherished visits from beautiful cardinals, hummingbirds, and countless other beauties. The cabin is pristine, not a bug in sight, which is hard to pull off in the country, the strong scent of mothballs may be keeping them at bay. I enjoyed this place so much and was not ready to leave.

Cute, well thought out nice home right on the lake!! The hot tub and lake access are a huge plus. The house has nice touches and feels comfortable. Also- there’s a ping pong table! Unfortunately, it was raining the weekend we went so we didn’t spend too much time at the lake but would love to come back in the summer!!

Very communicative owner. Home was perfect for our need to have somewhere close to stay near relatives in Whitney TX. Highly recommend. Stay was during winter but we could imagine this being a fun summer location.

The house is wonderful! The house is super clean, had everything you could need. The out door area is fantastic too! Lots of sitting areas a stunning view of the lake. Fairly easy to get down to the lake. The kids loved playing down by the water! We will definitely be back!

This was such a a pleasant home. clean and well appointed. the kitchen was really well supplied. The kids loved the table hockey and arcade. Coffee on the deck overlooking the huge back yard and the lake was really nice. I highly recommend.

The breathtaking views alone make it worth the stay, but the home itself is equally impressive, beautifully designed and incredibly inviting. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped with everything you need, so all you have to do is arrive and relax. The plush, luxurious beds offer a serene view of the lake, ensuring restful nights. Conveniently located near restaurants and stores, the location is absolutely ideal. Communication with Kate was seamless, with quick responses. Needed a place to stay for an archery tournament. House was perfect for my group and felt right at home. We enjoyed a couple visits to the nearby park as well.

Some girlfriends and I (plus a baby) stayed here for one night. There was plenty of space for all of us (including a closet big enough for the pack-n-play), and the furnishings were comfortable and cozy! We enjoyed the peacefulness of being outside town, and convenience to Homestead Heritage and Cafe Homestead. Not a long drive to downtown Waco, either!

Jay and Becky's place was beautiful and secluded. It felt like a quiet and serene escape from the big city. They were quick to respond and very accommodating. I highly recommend their place if you're looking for the perfect countryside stay in Waco!

Great stay.We were in town for my sons birthday for 5 nights at Josie’s place.This house is perfect for a large family and small one like ours.The house is very nice,clean,and in a nice neighborhood.The pool was awesome.We loved the covered patio in the back that had furniture and a nice size tv.Josie was a great host who was quick to respond to any questions we had.We would stay here again in a heartbeat.We don’t visit my son as much as we would like,because we get so bored at the hotels and other homes we have rented.This was the first time we really didn’t want to leave!

Absolutely perfect Texan retreat! The location was great and the house was spotless. The host was incredibly accommodating and responded quickly to any questions. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!
