Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Victoria

Michael's place was great and we enjoyed our stay. Even though the mall was on the other side of the wall, you felt like you were in your own private garden area. Perfect for when you really need to go somewhere close but still feel like you have gotten away. Michael was very responsive and helpful throughout the process, even dropping by to say hello. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay on Bulago island at Tom's house was just great. From the house, beautifully situated above the water on the far west tip of the island, you have an amazing view over the lake, which gets even better with every step you climb up behind the house up to the hill, which is the highest point of the island. The house is fully equipped with all you need and Tom is an awesome host! We'll soon be back.

We could check in earlier and check out later. Ernest was very relaxed and we all felt as we are staying at our own home. His staff was very helpful. The view is amazing, the house is unique (rare design in Uganda) and overall we had a wonderful stay. Thank you Ernest, I‘ll come back again.

From our late arrival to organizing a driver to take us to the airport on the last day, we had a great stay. It was far from the main roads, but perfect for getting away. every question and need was attended to speedily and with warmth. The host was even able to call a boda driver to do some shopping for us.

It was a wonderful experience in a magical place surrounded by nature. A small oasis in the middle of a well kept forest with a view of the River. It’s one of those places you would love to come back.

It was a joy for me and my partner to stay at Jenny's place. The location was calming and peaceful; a good getaway from the hustle and bustle of Kampala. The bnb is located 15min from Bule Landingsight where we docked with a boat organised for us by Jenny. The boda boda ride to the tucked-away sanctuary was just as scenic as the journey on Lake Victoria. We specifically enjoyed the privacy of the bnb including how quiet it was and the outside kitchen with all amenities. The birds and other interesting wildlife spotted on the property were an extra perk for me. The staff was helpful, discrete and dedicated to helping us have a good time. We will certainly be back in future.

I really enjoyed my stay at Damaski... the host was very responsive and friendly throughout our conversations. The location is also very quiet, very clean and ideal for someone looking for a very chill place to stay in Kisumu. Definitely would recommend the space.

This place is breathtakingly beautiful. Our booked room had issues with water and electric cut, so the manager quickly found a solution for us with a solar panel powered unit. The views around the grounds are surreally beautiful. The kitchen serves up fresh and delicious meals and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Watch the sunset, watch the monkeys play and recharge your inner zen. Host is super responsive and fair.

Foster's apartment exceeded expectations, it looked even better than in the pictures! It was spacious, clean, and tidy, with great views. Plus, the amenities were fantastic, including a swimming pool, a gym, and ample parking. The peaceful atmosphere made the stay even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be returning!

Nice quiet place to stay. Its was worth the price paid. Bilha was always available to answer any concerns. I loved that they cleaned the unit everyday. Top notch security, we enjoyed the place. I would definately recomend to others.

Mutara is by far the best host have ever had. She was super helpful with whatever I needed and professional. She was kind enough to give me lots of recommendations of different places I wanted to go to in the area. The place is even better in person than the pictures, me and my family enjoyed the stay. I felt really safe there and it was so peaceful waking up to the lake view and the sounds of palm trees as the wind was blowing them. I would highly recommend this place. We had a great time at this place. The caretaker was helpful and considerate. The private garden provided a great playground and featured the occasional wild birds as well as fresh fruits. Definitely recommendable

We had a wonderful stay at Hornbill Camp! The property is absolutely beautiful and the "cottage" was honestly way bigger and more beautiful than we expected. It is tastefully decorated with gorgeous high ceilings! We enjoyed exploring the area with a nice walking path behind the property. The host/care taker was super responsive and helpful and made us a lovely campfire on the beach. We would love to be back for another stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Geoffrey’s home. The compound is beautiful and provided a wonderful place for our children to play. The caretaker, John, was extremely helpful and provided us directions to the property. Of note, a larger vehicle is likely needed in order to get to this property as some of the roads are a bit tough to navigate. The home was clean, decorated nicely, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We would absolutely stay here again if we are passing through the area. Thanks for the hospitality!

Your staff greeted me with such warmth, I felt like I was back home with my family. in fact, I felt like I was family. They made me feel important to them and saw to all my needs from the moment I arrived. I wanted a place that was quiet, remote and this did just that for me. Loved my room that had all the comforts of home: closet with enough hangers, a table, a dresser with a mirror. I just felt so comfortable and was so happy that I chose this location for my Air bnb. There was a microwave in the kitchen that had come in very handy. There was even a nice size refrigerator. I didn't have to ask for extra towels. They were waiting for me in my room. The thing that struck me the most was the staff with their genuine friendly smiles and always asking if there was anything I need. This was by far the best air bnb I have ever stayed at! I got more for the price I paid for than I ever expected. I will visit this wonderful place again and I highly recommend it to others who want the same experience as I had.

The property is awesome, very secure with lush green gardens, a lovely mango orchard, running water, a fully equipped kitchen. We had our own private entrance and the property was just a few minutes to Siaya town.. My 6 yr old son really enjoyed - chicken, geese, cats, cows and a lovely compound. Jane the host welcomed us like long lost friends and was readily available for any queries. Lovely host, lovely stay!

a location you can't beat!!easy access to the beach this home is comfy, cozy and very clean.. its also close to restaurants. waking up to the waves softly breaking on the shores was the best. the views around this home were fabulous. the host was very responsive at all time. definitely the best place for relaxing and holiday. 10/10
