Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lake Township

From the beginning of our journey to the conclusion of our journey Livia’s hospitality and thoughtfulness of her space we were very impressed. Squeaky clean, well stocked kitchen (just about everything you’d need) comfortable beds and clear instructions for the household are its selling points. This is our first experience with Livia’s property and it won’t be our last. We’re planning on another visit later this year because of this experience. The ratings are real people! You won’t be disappointed.

Perfect, last minute getaway weekend spot! Susan was responsive from the beginning and throughout our stay. The home is immaculately clean. My husband fished all weekend and caught several fish:) Sunrises from the primary bedroom and the screened in porch were a beautiful way to wake up. The weather was cool so we didn’t have bug issues but some of the screens probably need to be repaired for warmer days when you want to open the windows on the porch. Kitchen is well stocked and we cooked all of our meals in so we could enjoy the lake view. If you’re planning on cooking, you may want to bring some Tupperware. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed which was exactly what we were hoping for.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect! The house was warm, welcoming, and exactly what we needed for a peaceful getaway. Everything was new and thoughtfully arranged. The location was ideal, close to hiking trails and small local shops. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive. We would love to stay again :)

Danielle was a wonderful host, very fast with responses and made us feel very welcome in her lovely home. The house is very spacious, and beautiful and was very accommodating to our group. The house comes with a paddle boat and kayak and we had lots of fun taking them out to the pond in the backyard. We really loved our stay and would love to come back and stay here again!

Our stay at Abby's place was just perfect. After a rough start (email in junk folder !), Abby helped us super quickly even on a late friday evening and was super supportive all WE long. She kindly extended our stay by a couple of hours for the kids to enjoy the view of the lake (stunning btw !) a little longer. A must do in the area !

Had a great family MDW at the Hideout! This house was very clean. They had everything they described. Would def book again!

Very good location not too far from New York City. You feel like you are away from everything. But in the meantime, you have everything around you. My kids enjoy. Juneffer was amazing person to communicate with her. she made it very easy for us. Thank you again. I will really recommend this place I will go back

Perfect place for a long weekend with our family. Plenty of space for the 5 of us and an absolutely beautiful location. Right on the water with access to multiple kayaks. Very peaceful setting with easy access to nearby towns like Monticello and White Lake.

We loved this house and location. It was perfect for our family getaway to Amish country it was over an hour away but the drive through the countryside was beautiful. After one day of just hanging out and barbecuing we fished at the lake and caught plenty of fish. Could not be happier with this stay!

This is probably the most charming lake cottage we've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The drive up was very scenic and the views from the home are simply awesome. We absolutely loved our stay. The floor to ceiling window in the living room afforded us the ability to have a beautiful view of the lake when the weather wouldn't allow us to sit out on the deck. We did have the opportunity to enjoy the deck when the weather improved and it was simply fantastic. Our pups loved spending time here and so did we. We hope to be back very soon.

Everything was just right and matched what is in the photos. The guide book provided was so helpful to know how everything worked in the house and how to access the lake. The property was easy to find, full of wildlife to watch, clean inside, and had all the amenities of home.

Awesome Awesome stay. So much to do around the area even in early spring. The lake is great for trout fishing! Can’t wait to come back in the summer. Definitely recommend.

Stayed here with my husband and three kids for a wedding weekend. It was a cute little cabin that had everything we needed for two days. The beds were comfy, the (quaint) kitchen had mostly everything we needed to make coffee and breakfast, the living and eating area were just right for a couple days.

My family and I had a great time at Bill & Peg’s place. Their place easily accommodated the ten of us, and we felt right at home. We also really appreciated their flexibility with check-in and check-out times. We would certainly return!

Our family loves staying here! Everything needed for a fun long weekend is right here. We love kayaking and swimming in the lake, warming up in the hot tub (we always go a little off season), and having marshmallows at the fire pit. Jo is responsive, the house is clean, and neighbors leave us alone, or kindly throw a beach ball back to the kids.

Bianks place was cute and exactly as pictures. The beds were quite comfortable. The house was right across the lake for fishing! Kitchen was stocked well with spices, grill had propane, and toiletries were left for us. The jacuzzi came in Handy especially since MDW ended up being quite cool. Overall our stay was good!

Absolutely gorgeous place. Was so peaceful and nice. Meghan was friendly and responded very fast when we needed something. Would love to come back and enjoying the kayaks on the beautiful lake again!

Place was amazing! Views from the place were fantastic and the drive to Elk mountain was just short of 20 minutes.

Really charming cottage in the woods, and great, responsive hosts. Really had a nice time in this wooded and rural area, with two lakes nearby and the canoes on white lake. The cottage was clean and had a sleek, minimalist, scandanavian style (I felt like I was back in Sweden from years ago), which we appreciated! very peaceful at night and the AC worked great which helped out greatly on the hot days we were there. It's close enough to Woodstock museum/grounds, good food and laid back entertainment options in neighboring towns. Overall, a great stay, thank you!

Christine’s place was amazing. We stood at the “Fika” cabin and it was great. It was super cozy and a well thought out space. It had plenty of room for me and my family. The cabin was stocked with all the essentials needed to a great time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants a nice getaway with the family without sacrificing any amenities. Emily's guide she provided for the area was incredible! She was very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and really helped us feel like locals in the Poconos. The home had everything we needed and was truly lovely! Emily was very communicative and responsive if we had any questions. Highly recommend this spot for a weekend getaway!

Julie's place was the perfect winter getaway. The fireplace, hot tub and sauna warmed us and the very well-equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare great meals. The house was beautiful, with two living rooms for different activities and energy levels, a game room downstairs, a dining room with a large table and chairs, and comfortable furniture and beds throughout. Julie texted me to make sure that our every need was met. We had a snow and ice storm, and she had the driveway and walkways plowed, shoveled and sanded twice, and kept plenty of salt on-hand. We hope to return sometime in warmer weather so we can enjoy the pond, too.

Stanzonis Cabin #2 was a perfect getaway to both enjoy a concert at Bethel Woods (minutes away!) and enjoy some family time with our three younger kids. The Lake Huntington access and area Stanzonis has set up was fantastic! Such a nice bonus of staying with them. We lucked out with weather so we had the wonderful ability to enjoy the grounds and even have a fire in the pit. Tons of fire wood on the property to pull over and keep it going for hours. SO relaxing! Would definitely stay here again!
