The Upper Deck

A little bit of luxury at the lake. Plus the view from the deck is absolutely spectacular! The lake is sandy and shallow, perfect for lounging and water activities. The large front dock features cooler tables and Adirondack chairs. We also have a boat launch and parking for your boat at our back dock. Our brick fire pit is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The newly renovated loft is spacious, cozy and clean. We have installed an RO system in the kitchen for delicious drinking water.

I stayed at Sabrina’s place for a longer period of time compared to my visits to other air bnbs and I felt right at home. She had all the basic necessities (laundry supplies, cleaning supplies, kitchen appliances). The view of the lake was gorgeous with lots of natural sunlight through the apartment. Parking was easy and snow removal was always done. Good amount of closet space and storage. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Quinn's Airbnb. I stayed for 10 days and felt completely at home. The Airbnb had everything you could need while away from home. The outdoor space is very peaceful and overlooking the lake. Quinn was very helpful and always responded quickly to any messages I sent. I would definitely recommend staying here and I will be returning when in the area again.

We stayed 4 nights at Sabrina’s place while dropping our daughter off for school. It was exactly what was described in the listing and reasonably priced. Walking distance to everything in Haileybury and a short drive to other amenities in the surrounding areas. We would definitely book again as it was a perfect space for our families needs. We are in awe with how amazing this place is. The river is a joyous sight to enjoy, the house is comfy, the hosts welcoming, and the drive up was full of grand views. There are trails, games indoors and outdoors, the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen from an Air B&B, and an amazingly relaxing softtub. Wanda and Greg were immediately inviting and let us know in advance what to expect on how to get there and the fun things to do while at Valhalla and in Mattawan. If I could recommend anything to someone coming here it would be to bring a good pair of waterproof shoes and a day pack to explore the mountain paths. They were a great treat and we would walk them again in a heartbeat. There are so many things to rave about at this cozy home I can't list them all here but we will be happy to return and enjoy even more of what Valhalla has to offer.

It had everything we needed, with extra touches like snacks, baked goods, wine and water in the fridge and a handwritten note.
