Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Ontario

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

We had an amazing long weekend at the Hideaway! The cabin and surrounding area is beautiful and maintained very well. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Stayed here for Oswego family weekend. It’s about 30 minutes from the campus. Was a nice place to relax for the night. Views are beautiful. Chase was very responsive and allowed us to checkout late! Would definitely stay here again!

Nancy’s cottage was perfect for our little family of 4. We enjoyed card games on the back porch, meals al fresco w a beautiful lake view, and of course roasting marshmallows in the fire pit at sunset. The cottage was intimate and cozy and we hope to return on a regular basis. Thank you Nancy for being inviting and more than accommodating.

It was simply a wonderful experience. It was a peaceful environment. The view was amazing, you could see the incredible lake and island view even from inside the house and the balcony was amazing. It was a dreamy place that I would definitely go back to. Also, our host was very helpful. They helped us with everything, I didn't think we would be this comfortable. It is a place that I can recommend to everyone with peace of mind. thanks for everything

Had an amazing time at the serene location.. the cabin was cozy, clean and exactly like the description and pictures! Loved the time spent by the fire pit, making smores. The ping pong table added to the fun! Great place for unwinding close to nature. Thanks to Sarah for the prompt communication and support :)

We loved staying at Todd's cabin on beautiful Oneida Lake. His place has everything we needed for a quick two day stay to visit family in the area, and I'm glad we found it. You couldn't ask for a better host--Todd was super friendly and responsive. We'd love to come back in warmer weather to take full advantage of the lake!

My friends and I had a wonderful one-night stay! The place was perfect for us—spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location was ideal, offering a cozy, private atmosphere with a beautiful sky and moonlit night. The facilities had everything we needed, making our trip even more enjoyable. We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

We had an amazing time at Elizabeth’s cabin. It exceeded our expectations. She was super helpful and friendly and the cabin itself is beautiful and has everything you would need. Would highly recommend staying here and I hope to come back again one day.

Great spot for a large group of adults for a short term stay. It was what we expected and the communication from the host was top notch. They were able to accommodate last minute request to adjust the reservation and it was very much appreciated. Short uber ride to the village at Blue Mountain and could walk in nicer weather.

This place is beautiful looks even nicer in person than on the pictures . It’s very peaceful and fairly easy to find they left little notes around the house to find extra linens toilet paper etc which was a very cute touch . has a lot of stuff to do outside and inside it is the perfect little get together cabin the host is very nice helpful and attentive with any questions you may have through the stay definitely recommend

I found this place during the power outage, hoping to find somewhere warm to stay, I was pleasantly surprised as I have stayed in many Airbnb’s for pleasure/travel. This was the first time I have ever felt that every section of this place was so meticulous to the travelers stay! It’s dog friendly. I had my senior great day in there with my partner, and we will definitely be coming to visit again ! It’s the perfect little getaway from every day life for you and your partner. I absolutely adored staying here and the host is absolutely amazing. You can tell she really cares about that place and who stays there.

Cozy place right by the water. Lots to do in the area and also perfect for a staycation. Host was extremely organized and quick to respond.

An amazing stay with great hosts. The space is fab - very tastefully curated. You feel cozy as soon as you set foot into it. The private hot tub and sauna experience are an icing on the cake. The hosts were friendly, responsive and provided clear instructions. Not just that, they also added a personal touch by leaving us a welcome note/card and a bottle of wine. Can't recommend this property/experience enough.

This cabin in the woods was just what my boyfriend and I needed for our weekend getaway. Even with the snow it was tranquil and serene, the fireplace kept us warm all night and the kitchen was the perfect spot for us to make our dinner for the 2 nights we were there. Felicia and her co-hosts were super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed- we will definitely be back! Thank you again!

Awesome place to stay. We stayed for a salmon fishing trip and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The house is nice and secluded from everything and very private. House was also very clean and whenever we needed anything Juanita was quick to respond and help us out!!

What a beautiful place to visit. Plenty of trails to hike and explore with our dogs . The cabin was so clean and cozy . It was nice to see a few of the farm animals as well. Highly recommend the ranch .

Great little spot. Everything is super well labeled and easy to follow. They had everything we needed to make a pizza which was a surprise to us both. I also really needed q tips for like a week and all of the other Airbnbs hadn’t had them and then when we got here, they had them! Heroes. They’ve thought of all of the little things and that’s what makes them great!

John is a very warm and approachable host. He was there to welcome us and show us around the cottage. He was available to quickly come over when we needed something and is overall really pleasant. He was kind enough to let us know that we could use a part of his property that is enclosed to let our dog off-leash and play. The property feels very private, by a beautiful quaint meandering stream. The interior of the cottage is spacious and free for clutter with a more than capable large wood fire furnace. The outhouse was as clean as it can be.

The log home was beautiful snow was on the ground for Christmas and they even set up a tree inside with lights for my kids . We all loved our stay and it saved the holidays .
