Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Ohrid

This is a lovely airbnb in a fantastic location, near to all the attractions and restaurants. The outdoor space is so relaxing and the free parking space is a real bonus. There is no need for air conditioning as its cooler than the town. I would highly recommend.

The property is in a fantastic location to explore the city. Moreover, there is a private space available behind a silver gate (it may seem a bit tight, but I parked there my VW Jetta). The property is cosy, and the host very polite and responsive.

We travel often, and this was one of our best experiences! Jasminka was professional, responsive, and very accommodating. We arrived in Ohrid, and Jasminka had a boat ready to take us to the house. The route to the house is absolutely beautiful. The walk from the house to the town center is only about 10 minutes, but is very safe and passes several small beaches and restaurants. I can't say enough about how wonderful this location was for our family. We have four boys, and the house was clean and had plenty of space for all of us. The neighbor, Ana, was very polite and helpful, and we had the opportunity to have a fresh trout dinner at her restaurant next door. I would recommend this stay to anyone visiting the Lake Ohrid region.

We took this airbnb for canyoning in this area. The hosts were really friendly and helpful in many ways. They gave uns alot of good recommandations and tips! Thanks alot, we will come back :-)

I had an amazing stay at this place.From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The host was friendly and attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I could ask for. I would highly recommend this BnB to anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable getaway. Unterkunft hat den Erwartungen übertroffen. Der Hof auf dem das Haus steht war abgezäunt. Nur durch ein Tor, mit einem sehr freundlichen Wachmann, kam man rein und raus. Gerne wieder.

Eine wunderschöne und äußerst gemütliche ruhige Ferienwohnung mit einem kleinem Hof, auf dem wir morgens in der Sonne frühstücken konnten. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man Restaurants und einen kleinen Laden sowie den wundervollen glasklaren See. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und bereit Extrawünsche zu erfüllen.

Voici mon deuxième séjour ici ! La première fois était de 15 jours au mois d’octobre puis d’un mois en Décembre ! Cette petite maison est décidément incroyablement agréable à vivre ! Je vous la recommande grandement !! ❤️

Perfect host. They accepted our verry late check in, arround 00:00. Despite late hour, they took time to explain to us where to find open shop and so on.. The place is good either for family, or small company.

Aleksandar place was amazing. I can't find enough words to express how much I liked this apartment. It was very quiet, clean and the kitchens had all of the amenities that you'll need. I aliso liked the little terrace from the room. It's a 15 minutes walk away from the main bus station in Ohrid, 3 minutes away from a supermarket where you could get everything. There is also a private parking in front of the apartment. Or if you plan to use public transport the bus station is 1min away. The Host is very kind and polite and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, he even took me to a short tour in the area. I sincerely recommend this apartment to all his future guests and will be back for sure!!!

Perfect apartment, we felt like home! Everything was exactly like in the pictures. The apartment is new, well equipped and clean. Viktor is a very available and flexible host, and you can see that he has put a lot of thought into every detail in the apartment. The location of the apartment is excellent, you can walk everywhere in Ohrid. We will definitely come back to this apartment!

we had an amazing time around new year's on Ohrid. the apartment is located very close to the lake and the centre. Quiet location, close to a few authentic non-touristic restaurants. Very basic in amenities but also very comfortable!

We enjoyed our stay here for 4 weeks, and that was made even better by Tedi’s mom, who is one of the kindest and most hospitable host(s)– since she kind of takes care of the flat, that we’ve had. But also Tedi replied fast whenever we had a question or needed something. Regarding the flat, the kitchen is quite ok for general cooking, the flat was clean and it is sort of stylish, it kind of feels like a real home rather than an airbnb. The location is great, right in the center, 2 minutes walk from the lake. Although it is located on one of the most central streets, it was usually very peaceful. The internet is generally ok for work around 25mbps, but in the mornings and evenings it was sometimes unstable especially for video calls. The heater is quite good, but on the few days with minus and snow, it reached it’s limit a bit, especially in the bedroom. Overall the experience and flat were very positive, great host(s) and location. We would definitely come back. Highly recommended !

Vladimir is a wonderful host, super friendly without imposing, extraordinarily helpful when you need something, a very thoughtful host. I had an amazing time at his place. I had gone there to work, and it was quiet with excellent wifi. I got so much done there because when the windows are closed, you can’t hear any noise from outside. The street itself is well-connected with a huge supermarket a 3 minute walk away that sells everything you could need, including organic ingredients and supplement, a butcher, a deli, toiletries and groceries. There is a taxi stand just down the street (to the left, then turn left in the big street). Other guests in the building were friendly and considerate. The furniture is comfortable and having an oven was a nice touch. All in all, Vladimir’s apartment is an excellent value. Don’t hesitate to book with him!

Recomendado el espacio, esta ubicado alejado del centro pero caminando son 10min, al lago estas a 20min de playas tranquilas, Aleksandar es atento, amigable con mucha disposición a ayudarte. todo ordenado y limpio, con lo justo y necesario para una estadía de unas noches.

Roland's apartment is well-furnished, roomy and very comfortable. The view from the balcony is nothing short of amazing - you can see for miles all the way across Lake Ohrid to Albania. Much of the city is visible, as well. A short walk to the lake, restaurants and the downtown area. A well-stocked supermarket is directly across the street. The kitchen has everything needed for a long stay. There is a large dining room table and four chairs, a big coffee table and a big L-shaped couch that is firm and perfect for relaxing. A mini-split heater/air con works perfectly. The bedroom has plenty of space for clothes and gear. The bed is one of the best I've ever slept on, with an excellent mattress and plenty of bedding. The bathroom is well-equipped and has a washer/dryer combo machine that works very well. The entire apartment is modern and has all the little things one would need. Roland is very responsive and helpful and was kind enough to meet me at the bus station! An excellent host!

The property is perfectly located just a minute walk to lake ohrid and a strip of restaurants. Main square is within walking distance where you can find everything you need. Property was clean, equipped with everything we needed for a few days! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting. Host is also absolutely lovely with so many recommendations and super responsive.

Ognen was very helpful and a great communicator. The flat design was very beautiful and well thought out. The couch was incredibly comfortable for relaxing on a rainy day. While the flat offers two balconies it rained and snowed most of the days we stayed so unfortunately were not able to use them. Ognen’s flat is quite walkable to the lake, several restaurants, and the shopping street. Ognen also provided several recommendations of places we may want to visit while on holiday in Ohrid. I would highly recommend a stay at Ognen’s.

Un grand merci à notre hôte qui nous a accueilli avec le sourire et qui a été aux petits soins avec nous. Le logement est situé à 2min à pied de la place principale, ce qui est un grand point positif. L’appartement correspond à la description et sa vue sur le lac est exceptionnelle.
