The Best Airbnb I’ve Ever Stayed In – A Magical Experience! If I could give this place 100 stars, I would happily give 101! This Airbnb exceeded all expectations. It was even more beautiful than the photos — absolutely pristine, spotless, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details. The location feels like stepping into a fairytale: peaceful, magical, and right on a quiet beach. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a bottle of bubbly and water in the fridge, along with croissants, coffee, and tea. Fresh flowers brightened both the bathroom and living room, adding such a personal, elegant touch. Isa, our host, was incredibly kind and attentive. My friend has allergies to scented products, and Isa immediately removed all air fresheners and even sealed them in a bag before taking them out of the apartment. That level of care and responsiveness truly made our stay feel special. Amazing, wonderful, magical, Tranquilo . Highly recommend it – this place is unforgettable

Emi was a gracious and attentive host and truly one of the best we’ve had. She went above and beyond by picking us up when the bus didn’t stop where expected, and personally drove us to the property. Her kindness and hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and even more stunning than the photos suggest. It’s the perfect escape from the stress of city life. There is one restaurant and a small neighborhood market within walking distance. For guests without a car, this may be a consideration depending on your needs. A word of caution: the interior stairs can be slippery, especially when wearing socks. I unfortunately took a fall during our stay and was injured. I recommend using footwear with grip, such as water shoes, when indoors to help prevent accidents. Despite this, we had a wonderful stay, and Emi remains a 10/10 host.

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

Loved our stay. Truly a beautiful and quiet part of the lake. The flat was perfect for two and we loved being able to just step outside for a dip in the lake. Would highly recommend.

What an incredible stay! Michele’s place has everything you need to feel at home, all in an amazing location. There are enough amenities nearby such as the convenience store and 2 restaurants/bars, along with bus stops and even the dock for ferries across the lake. The views from every window and the rooftop are stunning. Thank you, Michele!

This is the second time I stayed at a Design Studio apartment. It was just as fantastic as the first time. The apartment was extremely spatial, clean, updated and quiet. The view and outside balcony were of the mountains and Lake Como. The scenery was so amazing. The communication with Design studio was excellent. They always answered questions right away. Also, Design Studio was great with giving tips on what to do in Bellano. I recommend Design Studio with the highest ratings.

Wonderful and unique Place directly on the lake! Very quite and Perfect Place to relax and enjoy the area and landscape! Davide and his mother Marina are super friendly and we felt very welcome and we Hope to come again soon!

We will be back! Sylvia was a great host, offering so many suggestions and with train construction a mess her husband helped us get from Lecco and he was so personable and kind! This place is beautiful and located in the perfect spot within walking distance to the lakefront restaurants and shops! It was like a dream staying here! Even left us a prosecco to toast our arrival in a heavenly place! Thank you for making our stay perfect!!

Monica’s place was outstanding The pictures did not do justice to the views Wow! Monica was very good communicating with us right from the start Check in was very straightforward and she even left us a bottle of Prosecco and water Monica is very thoughtful and her place was spotless and well furnished She responded very promptly to all our questions and offered great recommendations for transport , shops and restaurants Overall our stay was beyond our expectations and we are definitely coming back next year Hopefully by which time the C10 bus may be regular 😂 and on time !

Enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of this place for four days. Everything spotless - and with all amenities. House sits in a private park with a couple of other houses. True paradise - we would love to come again. You can walk down to the lago - though ended up taking the car most of the time to get to restaurants. A couple of very nice ones in the area - Riva/Shaka (beach club vibe), Osteria Vairano (magnificent view), Rodolfo (excellent local cuisine)

The place was really beautiful and partly really cute. Communication with the host worked out great. However, one should be aware that the path to the accommodation differs greatly from a normal road. You drive about 20 minutes on very challenging roads. Those who love nature will be rewarded with absolute tranquility and a fantastic environment.

Paola is a super host, she makes you feel right at home, including our 2yr old border collie. The lake view at the flat is the highlight of our stay. The little personal touch provided by Paola is the added bonus on top. The garden and the surrounding hikes and lake is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended

This was the most unusual lodging I've ever been in on a road trip The house had everything I needed and more. My favorite spot is the upper terrace. I was lucky enough to spend a few evenings there, processing all the content for the day to the sound of birdsong. It's not easy to get here, but it's worth it. When you open the door of this house, it's like stepping into a fairy tale. Unforgettable experience, thank you!

They say that Bellagio is the jewel of lake como , i believe its Where you stay and also the host , I have been in different places with different and marvelous location but nothing comparable with a place that you feel comfortable in during your stay,and what even makes your stay beyond expectations is the host and i believe Deborah did really made things lovely and easy specially for someone that is not familiar with local customs or the location Simply one of the most beautiful experiences i’v ever had and strongly recommend the place as the photos does not do justice to the place trust me

The view is adorable. The location is the best. Car park is crucial to enjoy your stay and it was available upon request for free.

We had a great stay. Arriving by ferry, almost opposite the apartment, Gian was waiting to greet us. The apartment is just as described, perfect for a few nights. Gian offered us lots of suggestions, including tips for the hiking we planned to do up the mountain, which was amazing. A beautiful place to stay.

Cozy and spacious apartment in a great location. Friendly and caring host. The best way to find the place by car is at the restaurant mentioned in the instructions. The address of the apartment was a little in the small streets. Overall, I can recommend!

The apartment (consisting of two rooms, a bathroom, and a small hallway) is cozy and very functional. It is tastefully furnished, very well equipped and above all very clean.

Absolutely wonderful stay 😊 the flat and the views are absolutely gorgeous!! In a quieter area of lake Como, but it is an absolute gem. Still plenty of bars/restaurants within walking distance, and a little shop as well. There is a wonderful bar/cafe a 10 min walk down the lake front, which is the best place I’ve had my morning coffee. Musso will now be our base for future visits to Lake Como - there are few tourists but a 10 min drive to Menaggio where you can catch the ferry to Como, Bellagio and Varenna (among others). We didn’t go to Como, but Varenna and Bellagio were each a 15 min boat ride. Simone was extremely helpful with recommendations, and also when we extended our trip for a few days. You must catch the sunrise on the balcony - it is magical, as is the whole place! Plenty of parking, and a little beach right infront of the apartment. Cannot recommend enough, and we will be back. Great lake view, clean apartment. The surroundings are also great to explore by car! Without it, it is rather difficult, as the place is unfortunately not really walkable. We had a very relaxing and beautiful vacation there!
