Cottage vacation rentals in Lake Maggiore

We spent two days in Anzola and had a great time. The house was a surprise, especially for my 5-year-old girl, Adele, who really appreciated not only the bathtub(at home we have a shower) but also the development on 2 floors, with relative stairs to climb and down continuously😅🤣. We lived a lot outside, eating outside and enjoying the garden, cared for and large (but not too much) and above all closed and therefore safe, even in case of dogs or children, as in our case. The house was very clean (which is not obvious considering the number of rooms, floors and spaces), very enjoyable and really well equipped. It has everything you need and even more, rarely is the same equipment on Airbnb. The final impression is that of a well-kept, beloved house that welcomes you in a hug, comfortable and suitable for short as long stays. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful home with a view and lake access. It went very well, the place was perfect. we have a baby and a small one, all the childcare equipment was available and very useful. we highly recommend this accommodation.

Beautiful place! Right inside a horse farm. The apartment is located on the second floor above the farm office. Two huge bedrooms and two very large bathrooms. New and clean washing machine. We traveled with our children and they were thrilled with the place. The owners of the property were very friendly and highly available by phone (whatapp) Great place!

Such a lovely stay in this cozy, charming cottage in Nesso! The garden was perfect for lounging in the sun, and we lucked out with beautiful weather. Check-in was super smooth with clear instructions and videos. While we didn’t meet our host, she was very responsive and helpful with local tips. We were greeted with pastries and prosecco, which was such a nice touch! The house is small but great for a short stay. A/C and heating worked well. Bathroom is tiny and hot water ran out quickly, but manageable. There’s a washer (we didn’t use it) but no iron. Heads-up: the steps down to the house from the road are steep! Also, a few things from the listing (like chickens or a certain seating area) weren’t there. We used the bus to get to Como—it’s easy once you figure it out. Overall, our host was wonderful and we’d totally stay here again!

A great stay in a very charming apartment with a great host. The location is wonderful, a steep but short walk down to the centre of Bellano, with decent bars and restaurants in walking distance. Percival was very accommodating, responded rapidly and was able to share tips for the local area. A truly beautiful spot and a rare treat to have a private garden with such a stunning view

Dear Deborah, thank you for the great time in this beautiful cottage. I was able to enjoy the short break to the fullest. The view from the terrace is outstanding! 😊 I felt very comfortable and above all welcome from the beginning. This accommodation is absolutely recommended! The contact with the landlords was very friendly and warm from the beginning. No question remained unanswered. I got great tips for hikes and restaurants. In the immediate vicinity of the house start great hiking trails, among other things, to two waterfalls! Thank you for the great time! 🤗

We had a wonderful time with Elena in the upper house. We absolutely liked it, just like in the pictures, clean, well equipped, quiet location, ideal to relax. We cooked every day in a superbly equipped kitchen, used herbs from the garden, went hiking a lot and discovered a lot. Elena was easy to reach, helped us with luggage transport, was always responsive with good tips. The church bells ring hourly, for us it was not a problem, rather peaceful. We were very lucky with the weather, an absolutely relaxing stay and we will be very, very happy to come back. Our dog also felt very comfortable. Everything was perfect for us.

We immediately felt very comfortable in the practical and cozy farmhouse. Ken and Kali were very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. Thank you!

As always, we felt very comfortable and took very great tours on foot and by road bike.

We had a really relaxing few days in this beautiful rustico with a lot of privacy. The view into the Onsernone Valley is top notch.

We had an amazing stay. Back to nature and quiet. To get to the accommodation, we took the cable car to Verdasio. The walk is beautiful and not very hilly. Very clean accommodation, no mouse problems. We took our sleeping bags and fitted sheets as advised in many reviews and it was very comfortable. We weren't cold. We had a great time cooking small dishes on the fire. We will be happy to come back, thanks to Stefano for his responsiveness and the many tips given. Perfect stay. We'll be back! Christelle

A very nice week spent with the family in the heights and freshness (welcome!) of Lake Como and the beautiful city of Varenna. The place is located in a natural setting. We were surprised to discover a hot tub! The exteriors are very nice and well equipped ( garden furniture, sun loungers) . The interior is very as described. A good location to explore Lake Como by day. we also spent a day in Milan taking the train to Varenna. Patrizia was very responsive to any inquiries.

Lovely place to stay. Amazing terrace and views over the lake. The video of how to find the apartment really helped. We enjoyed the walk to Torno and around Blevio. Arrived in Como and shopped there before heading to Blevio as there are limited options nearby. Only 10 minutes in a taxi from Como. Really enjoyed our stay.

Cottage delle fate is a dream come true; the garden is very very spacious, and the house has multiple spots to relax at every hour of the day. Paola is a very responsive and lovely host. We felt very welcome!

The welcome was very friendly and personal - and we will probably remember it forever ;) The apartment was furnished with a lot of love and attention to detail - nothing was really missing! The host always responded quickly to messages and was able to give good advice nearby. It must also be said that the immediately surrounding neighborhood is not very attractive - but if you are looking for an apartment to feel comfortable and to explore the surroundings from there, you will feel very comfortable here.
