Cottage vacation rentals in Lake Maggiore

We spent two days in Anzola and had a great time. The house was a surprise, especially for my 5-year-old girl, Adele, who really appreciated not only the bathtub(at home we have a shower) but also the development on 2 floors, with relative stairs to climb and down continuously😅🤣. We lived a lot outside, eating outside and enjoying the garden, cared for and large (but not too much) and above all closed and therefore safe, even in case of dogs or children, as in our case. The house was very clean (which is not obvious considering the number of rooms, floors and spaces), very enjoyable and really well equipped. It has everything you need and even more, rarely is the same equipment on Airbnb. The final impression is that of a well-kept, beloved house that welcomes you in a hug, comfortable and suitable for short as long stays. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful home with a view and lake access. It went very well, the place was perfect. we have a baby and a small one, all the childcare equipment was available and very useful. we highly recommend this accommodation.

Beautiful place! Right inside a horse farm. The apartment is located on the second floor above the farm office. Two huge bedrooms and two very large bathrooms. New and clean washing machine. We traveled with our children and they were thrilled with the place. The owners of the property were very friendly and highly available by phone (whatapp) Great place!

Such a lovely stay in this cozy, charming cottage in Nesso! The garden was perfect for lounging in the sun, and we lucked out with beautiful weather. Check-in was super smooth with clear instructions and videos. While we didn’t meet our host, she was very responsive and helpful with local tips. We were greeted with pastries and prosecco, which was such a nice touch! The house is small but great for a short stay. A/C and heating worked well. Bathroom is tiny and hot water ran out quickly, but manageable. There’s a washer (we didn’t use it) but no iron. Heads-up: the steps down to the house from the road are steep! Also, a few things from the listing (like chickens or a certain seating area) weren’t there. We used the bus to get to Como—it’s easy once you figure it out. Overall, our host was wonderful and we’d totally stay here again!

A great stay in a very charming apartment with a great host. The location is wonderful, a steep but short walk down to the centre of Bellano, with decent bars and restaurants in walking distance. Percival was very accommodating, responded rapidly and was able to share tips for the local area. A truly beautiful spot and a rare treat to have a private garden with such a stunning view

Dear Deborah, thank you for the great time in this beautiful cottage. I was able to enjoy the short break to the fullest. The view from the terrace is outstanding! 😊 I felt very comfortable and above all welcome from the beginning. This accommodation is absolutely recommended! The contact with the landlords was very friendly and warm from the beginning. No question remained unanswered. I got great tips for hikes and restaurants. In the immediate vicinity of the house start great hiking trails, among other things, to two waterfalls! Thank you for the great time! 🤗

We had a wonderful time with Elena in the upper house. We absolutely liked it, just like in the pictures, clean, well equipped, quiet location, ideal to relax. We cooked every day in a superbly equipped kitchen, used herbs from the garden, went hiking a lot and discovered a lot. Elena was easy to reach, helped us with luggage transport, was always responsive with good tips. The church bells ring hourly, for us it was not a problem, rather peaceful. We were very lucky with the weather, an absolutely relaxing stay and we will be very, very happy to come back. Our dog also felt very comfortable. Everything was perfect for us.

We immediately felt very comfortable in the practical and cozy farmhouse. Ken and Kali were very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. Thank you!

As always, we felt very comfortable and took very great tours on foot and by road bike.

The welcome was very friendly and personal - and we will probably remember it forever ;) The apartment was furnished with a lot of love and attention to detail - nothing was really missing! The host always responded quickly to messages and was able to give good advice nearby. It must also be said that the immediately surrounding neighborhood is not very attractive - but if you are looking for an apartment to feel comfortable and to explore the surroundings from there, you will feel very comfortable here.

We had a great night in this little town in the valley. The house is at a very quiet and calm spot, has a lovely terrace and our host was very welcoming.

A warm and natural place 🙂

Together with a colleague we spent a week at Claire's flat to attend a conference in Varenna. The flat is very nice, well equipped, quiet and has a nice view over the lake. If the weather would have been better we could have enjoyed the nice view from the terrace and the garden. It is a 20-30 minutes walk to Varenna along the street (after a short descent). I could imagine this to be a nice flat for a family of four to spend time around the lake (in case you have a car to go around and to go to a supermarket). Before and during our visit the contact was always super friendly, quick and helpful. We very much appreciated her contacting us the day before we had to leave since most trains were down due to a strike. She told us which were still running which was really helpful!

We have already received excellent documentation from Julian with all the details that accompanied us during our stay. The studio is very easy to find and unique in every way. It was completely renovated only recently and is in a very new and very nice condition. A fully equipped, modern kitchen, living room and the wonderful fireplace are on the first floor, on the upper floor a romantic bedroom as well as shower / toilet. The location is extremely quiet - even on the seat you can't hear any traffic noise. All in all, a vacation rental that is worth its price in every respect and that we will certainly book again.

We spent a really wonderful spring week in the Rustico. It's superbly furnished - especially the kitchen. We enjoyed the balcony for reading and the terrace for relaxing. The surroundings are beautiful: the stone village, the green Versasca, the many waterfalls and hiking trails. Everything is easily accessible. Cindy was very accommodating with our questions and we felt very comfortable. Many thanks for everything!

It’s a wonderful place on the mountain with a magnificent view over the lake. The host is friendly and responsive, although it was a bit difficult to arrange a new check-in time when we were delayed due to car trouble. The house itself is wonderful, with a good shower, bedroom with a great view from the window and really comfortable bed, nice kitchen with more than enough utensils. There is nice terrace outside, where you can sit in total privacy, although the chairs could use an upgrade. But all in all we had a wonderful stay!
