Amazing Amazing Amazing wow factor….

This spot was great! It served as a base camp for the Adirondack portion of our 2024 fall expedition. It's just minutes from Lake George but not in the chaos so when you are done there you feel like you are going home. Our only regret is that we had so many road trips planned we didn't get to spend much time at Glen lake - it is so peaceful and quiet. However, It was great to wake up each morning to the sun sparkling across the lake and coming right into the living room through the trees, especially with the leaves radiating in color. Everything is right nearby so it's super convenient and it's just a minute from RT87 so you can go where ever you want. The host we're super nice, very friendly and made it feel like we were at our 3rd home - totally comfortable! We'd go back in a heartbeat...

We had a great time over a holiday weekend! The house was close to a few places to get necessities and a few places to eat. It was within a half hour to a few ski areas also, which was the main plan of our trip. The house was beautiful and clean. Thr sauna and hot tub were great features of the home. We got a good amount of snow while there and Julian was quick to keep us updated on having the driveway plowed. The area is beautiful wotha lake view. The house had plenty of space and bathrooms for our two families. Everything was clean and in goof shape when we arrived.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect—just a short drive to Lake George Village and only 10 minutes from a wedding we attended in Queensbury. The house itself is absolutely beautiful; the photos don’t do it justice. It was even better in person—clean, spacious, and well-appointed. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything about our stay at Kerri's cozy home was perfect. It was easy to find, easy to get in, and everything was just as described. The big backyard was a huge bonus! The beds were super comfortable -- we all had great sleeps. I highly recommend walking to The Silo for warm cider donuts! We'll definitely stay here again when we come back to Queensbury.

Paul provided clear and detailed instructions, making check-in a breeze. Although the official check-in time was 4 PM, he kindly reached out around noon on the day of our arrival to let us know the house was ready early—a thoughtful and accommodating gesture, even though we arrived after 4. The home is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, and the outdoor space is equally impressive—peaceful and well-maintained. It's set back perfectly from the road, offering plenty of privacy while still being conveniently close to local attractions. A great balance of comfort, style, and location!

Amy and Ryan’s home was such a joy! Very well appointed with almost everything you could think of needing, such a cute aesthetic and in a great location. Amy went above and beyond and gave tons of local recommendations that were open during our stay. Highly recommend!

Great environment, quiet area, close to attractions and private. Clean and spacey house with enough things to do. Mostly every necessity is provided and more. Clear instructions posted around the house with friendly owners. I would definitely recommend from couples to families this house is perfect and has everything u need for a good getaway. Furniture is extremely comfy and the house is well insulated.

Wonderful peaceful spot, affordable and gorgeous location! Great response time and super cute (and really quiet) doggers peeking at us in the window when we were leaving. Great spot!

This is our second stay at Kim’s house. It is the perfect private spot, not too far from town or country. It’s a small space, good for 2 people!

The Yellow Door Inn was exactly what I needed for my little getaway from the craziness of my life!! You are surrounded by art, and comfort that is difficult to find. I felt at peace the moment I arrived and my doggos also loved the large yard and access to the Salem Art Works!! Klara and Greg are great hosts, they responded very quickly and were so so kind to me during my stay. If you are staying in Salem, I would 1000% recommend the Yellow Door Inn. You will not regret it! I know I will most definitely be back next time I stay in the area. It was hard for me to leave and head back home, because I felt I was already home…

We had an excellent stay at Jills. The space was very clean and well equipped with everything needed. The Hot tub was very enjoyable. Jill was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to assure our stay was great!

Great place with beautiful surroundings! Very close to the lake and town (which had some very good restaurants). The house was perfect for us and the bed was very, very comfortable! Location was also within an hour of some great places in the Adirondacks. Host was very responsive to any issues/questions we had, and while they are close, they left us to do our own thing. Would definitely stay again if I have the chance!

This was my third stay at Jeff’s. Clean, spacious and a great location. We went to the Southern Adirondack Wine & Food Festival and explored Gloversville! Had a great time!

Very cozy & cute apartment. The extra air mattress was a plus. The fire pit outside made it feel like a get away from everyday life. Very peaceful. Joe is very nice & made me feel right at home. Will definitely be beck.

Our stay at Luxe Logs was fantastic. To start, Todd shared a very comprehensive welcome guide in advance that was easy to follow and very helpful in getting acquainted with the property. Todd even proactively provided us early check-in without our asking. The property itself was wonderful and perfectly located for Adirondack activities. You really felt like you were deep in the woods, but still just a 5 minute drive to Gore for skiing and less than 10 minutes to town and restaurants. The cabin was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was the perfect balance of quaint/rustic and modern/luxury. After a long day of skiing, the sitting area was extremely comfortable and the kitchen was very well appointed with appliances, cookware, and probably the most spices I've seen at an AirBnB. Everything was just as shown in the pictures and we honestly couldn't think of any complaints. Would 100% stay again.

We found that the place was exactly as described. Everything was very good. We loved your recliners out on the back, looking out the sliding glass doors overlooking the lake. It was very peaceful calm. We were able to get one fire in on Friday night. At the campfire was so peaceful and quiet and serene. Looking across the lake at the cabins with their lights on was just a beautiful relaxing time. We want to thank Barry and Shirley very much and I’m about 99% sure that we will be back again. Thanks again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday and we felt right at home. It was so cozy, the walk down to the brook was magical and we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again in the future! Also the queen bed was very comfy!

Fine stay, as advertised. Spring foliage really fills in the natural surroundings. Info on the home, things to do, and directions, all very helpful.

Desma's cabin was the perfect getaway for us... tucked away in the woodline with a small stream running through the property. Peaceful, wonderful. Comfortable. We highly recommend Desma as an excellent host and her lovely cabin as an excellent place to stay for a week to unwind.

A truly magical experience to live in the trees. Igor’s place was a warm and cozy place actually nestled amongst the trees. Any view looked out into the trees and even on a rainy weekend, we enjoyed the sounds, the smells, and all the nature that surrounded us. We even got to use the wood stove which helped keep the chill outside. (Thank goodness all those skills came back to me from childhood) Thank you so much for hosting us and we highly recommend to all.

The cottage and property was well maintained. You definitely feel like you’re staying at a person’s home. The books, games, open floor plan, soaking tub, all make you feel cozy and if your staying at a friends cabin without the guilt of being an intrusive guest. The bugs deterred us from being outside at night, but that is to be expected with the view. The kayaks were easy to use and not far from a sandy shore and lake. We stuck to the middle tiny island and floated. It is not deep. The private beaches are not necessary but there is a small area near the painted frog rock where you can place your kayak if you are alone and want to swim. I was told by the renter’s it was fine but you want to ask because I don’t know if it’s technically private shoreline. Sitting in the living room playing trivia and hiking Auger Falls was our family’s highlight and bringing our dog made him so happy. He is still tired! It was the perfect combination of rustic charm with excellent amenities.

Riverbend was the perfect place for a quiet, peaceful weekend getaway!
