Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Lugano

Absolutely lovely stay! The villa is beautiful, clean, and very authentic with a cozy atmosphere. The host was incredibly kind, she gave us great tips on places to visit and a local café that was both delicious and affordable. We especially appreciated being allowed to leave our luggage after check-out, very thoughtful! The view is stunning, the beds are super comfortable (both a large one and two smaller ones), and the bathrooms were great. We also loved the little treats left for guests, such a sweet touch. Highly recommended, and we hope to come back soon!

Wow. One of the best air bnbs that we have ever stayed in. The place is even better than the photos. The outside space is private with an amazing view of the lake. Laglio was a perfect place for us, quiet and authentic. We took the bus and ferries to get around as we were without a car. As long as you are organised and ready for a busy bus it’s completely doable without a car. Nico’s food recommendations were all excellent. Our favourite place was the family butchers / cafe close to the apartment. We went there nearly every day for drinks, steak, meats and cheese. We also cooked some basic meals at the apartment which we recommend as it’s a lovely space. Nico and Wendy were amazing hosts, so helpful, responsive and accommodating. Thoroughly recommend this place and we are already looking at their other properties for another holiday! Book now ☺️

We only stayed for one night, but the location is breathtaking! The home itself has everything you need, and it's pretty cozy. Davide and Kerry were responsive and assistive whenever needed. We hoped to stay more to fully enjoy Como and this beautiful place. Probably for another time!

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved our time. The view was brilliant — truly one of the most beautiful we’ve seen. Andrea was a fantastic host — welcoming, thoughtful, and kind. He even surprised us with a bottle of wine, which was such a lovely touch. The hot tub experience was extraordinary and added so much to the stay. We also checked out a little late, and Andrea was kind enough to accommodate us without any hassle. I would highly recommend this place to anyone — it’s a perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty around. Thank you, Andrea!

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

Wir hatten eine unglaublich tolle und erholsame Zeit in diesem wunderschönen Rustico und hätten es uns wirklich nicht besser wünschen können. Man sieht, dass das Rustico mit sehr viel Liebe umgebaut und eingerichtet wurde. Die Aussicht auf Mergoscia ist wunderschön und als Ausgangspunkt für diverse Wanderungen im Val Verzasca eignet sich die Unterkunft ebenfalls perfekt. Wir freuen uns schon darauf, irgendwann wieder zu kommen! :-)

This home is in an outstanding location overlooking the lake and Lugano. We were blown away by the view from every window. The location was very peaceful, and the home was extremely well-stocked. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony or the covered deck every day (depending on how hot it was!). The home is located a quick drive to downtown Lugano, and a short drive to the top of Monte Bre (highly recommend!) and to Gandria (also highly recommend). We fell in love with Lugano and the surrounding area thanks in part to this house…we will definitely be back.

Very clean and tidy. Easy to find, great parking spot right in front of the house. Perfect communication with the hosts. And a lovely scent from the jasmin right in front of the door (in May). Highly recommended!

Beautiful little apartment with the most stunning view of the lake! The steps were a bit of a struggle to get down to the bottom of the town and back up again so definitely recommend a car! The video instructions were so so helpful for check in and parking etc. Would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone wanting a peaceful stay on the lake!

Beautiful apartment v close to main train station (and metro stop) but peaceful for city location. Francesco v responsive and easy to contact when needed. Perfect for our needs.

This is by far the best place we have styed in. Eros was very welcoming and helpful and place was gorgeous and so clean. The view is fantastic and well equipped with everything. We will definitely come back and we really appreciate all the tips and help we got from the hosts. Overall fantastic experience, you will definitely be impressed.

We loved this apartment. The view from the balcony is wonderful - we spent hours watching all the activities and wildlife on and around the lake. The apartment was just as listed, spotless, comfortable, with everything you could need... such a great place to stay - wish we could have stayed longer!

Top Unterkunft mit schönem Garten! Sehr sauber und viel Platz, gut sortierten Küche. Adriano war sehr hilfreich und zuvorkommend und wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Unsere Tochter (1.5 Jahre alt) hat die Unterkunft geliebt und das Schlafzimmer konnte man sehr gut abdunkeln, damit die kleine gut einschlafen konnte. Sehr ruhige Lage mit Supermarkt in der Nähe. Die Innenstadt ist zu Fuß erreichbar (ca 10-15 Minuten), oder mit dem Auto innerhalb von 5 Minuten. Top Empfehlung für Familien mit kleinem Kind. Wenn wir wieder am Comer See sind, kommen wir sicher wieder!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Alice. Le lieu est sensationnel. Des balades possibles depuis cet appartement. Le lac est magnifique. Le petit balcon et le jardin sont très agréables L appartement à notre arrivée était très propre. Alice est venue nous accueillir avec gentillesse. Très réactive elle est présente sans être envahissante. Le lac de Côme est vraiment un lieu à visiter au moins une fois dans sa vie

We absolutely loved this place. What more can I say that hasn’t been said? The view is outstanding. You’re very high up the mountain. One morning we there was low lying clouds above the lake … and we were looking down on it from above the clouds. Clean and contemporary design, with a comfortable bed. You’ll need a car! The garage is very tight, so rent a smaller car. And getting there from Varenna involves a drive up a narrow winding road. It was fun drive … for me, at least.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Blue Boat Apartment! Es war alles perfekt. Die Wohnung war sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Silvia und Gigi haben uns herzlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt. Auch für unsere 10 Monate alte Tochter hat alles sehr gut gepasst. Wir werden die Aussicht und den Flair sehr vermissen. Alessandra a été proactive et nous a bien conseillé. Son appartement est très propre et bien rangé. Il offre tout ce qu’il faut pour un séjour, même prolongé (cuisine, terrasse, etc). L’endroit est très calme. Il préférable d’avoir son propre véhicule mais les transports publics sont aussi possible pour aller directement à Lugano ou Bellinzona. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit pour un séjour au Tessin. Merci Alessandra!

This was an absolutely stunning spot. Centrally located, amazing views, and reasonably priced. It looked exactly like the pictures! The apartment was great - had everything we needed and was really comfortable. The deck overlooking the mountains and Lake Lugano is spectacular. I recommend this 100%. If you are coming to Lake Lugano, this is a great spot. I miss it already!

What a beautiful property. Super clean and tidy with everything you could need. There is a lovely walk into Bellagio from the property. We really enjoyed staying here and the host is fantastic. Great communication, and fantastic recommendations. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much for having us ☺️

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen und liebvoll eingerichtet. Ideal für Familien mit Kindern! Die Kommunikation war einfach und unkompliziert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Was immediately drawn to the charm of this place! Loved the location by the waterfall, bridge and boat landing. Loved the walk past the boat landing that had incredible views of the lake, the flavor and history of the town…I walked on the cobblestones all the way to the church. I recommend taking the hosts instructions on taking the bus from the train station to his place in Nesso. It was definitely fun to walk from the train station into Como downtown and eat lunch, but getting the bus from there to his place is very hectic and crazy. The buses fill up fast from there with all the Lakeside people! You will save time by walking back to the train station and getting the bus from there. We happened to be there on a holiday weekend the end of May and the buses were not reliable. And the lines were long. I recommend the boats, they are more reliable. But hint… when we went to Bellagio, they said to get in line a half an hour before your boat takes off..you need more time! At least 45.

Such a wonderful stay! Chu Yi was very responsive throughout our travel journey, we experienced delays but she and her boyfriend still picked us up from the train station promptly and showed us to the Airbnb. It was clean, comfortable and perfect for an in between stay before a flight out of MXP.
