Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lake Lucerne

Wir hatten tolle Tage in dem wunderbaren, charaktervollen alten Haus. Die Zimmer und die Stube sind geräumig, hatten mehr als genügend Platz zu 8, und draussen konnten wir die Sonne geniessen. Super Lage direkt am See und Wanderwege gleich hinter dem Haus. Gut konnte Heidy uns vom Bahnhof abholen, sonst wäre es mit Gepäck ein rechtes Stück zu Fuss gewesen. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben bei ihr - und sie weiss allerlei über die Lokalgeschichte zu erzählen!

Schöne authentische Hütte. Alles war sehr sauber und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Gut ausgestattete Küche, sogar für Fondue und Raclette. Ein Schlepplift ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar.

Really enjoyed our stay at the property. Such a lovely villa in a beautiful location. Easy to get to by public transport or a walk around the lake. Giuseppe was a great host, always responsive to our queries and also sorted out our Lucerne cards before our arrival which gave us free transport and discounts in the area. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we can return in the future.

Dieser Bungalow ist einfach ein absolutes Schmuckstück. Jedes Detail in diesem Haus zeugt von viel Liebe und Stil. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb total wohl und willkommen gefühlt. So war der Whirlpool bereits aufgeheizt und parat für uns. Die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen, alles ist da. Weiter lädt das bequeme Sofa zu gemütlichen Abenden ein und später wartet ein sehr bequemes Bett auf einen. Fabienne ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin, die proaktiv kommuniziert und sehr grosszügig ist. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Zeer aangenaam verblijf in Sattel. Ruim huis, goed verzorgd en uitgerust. Prachtig uitzicht! Yvonne is een aangename gastvrouw die snel reageert. Alles prima!

Exceeded expectations! Fantastic location with amazing views. Wonderful access to hiking and activities. So much to do within 10 minutes drive. Complete privacy. Comfortable home with washer and dryer, dishwasher, comfortable beds, balcony, and nice shower. View of the surrounding valley, including the waterfall. Amazing host - provided fantastic ideas for hiking, bakeries, and other activities. Wish we had more than five days and hope to return. Worked very well with 4 people for a larger family. The deck and outdoor space was fantastic. An amazing part of the country made even better by a wonderful place to stay.

Wir als vier Männer durften unser jährliches Jasswochende in dieser genialen Unterkunft verbringen. Wir sind alles Glarner und wissen genau das es hier einfach am schönsten ist. Es ist etwas abgelegen aber erreicht die "Zivilisation" inert Minuten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views, this cabin is perfect! It’s cozy, secluded, and ideal for those who want to disconnect and enjoy nature. Janis provided detailed instructions, which were crucial since we arrived at night in thick fog. (Make sure to use Google Maps, as Waze led us down paths not meant for cars causing us to turn around in sketchy conditions.) The welcome basket was an incredibly thoughtful touch that made us feel welcomed and at home. The cabin’s simplicity was just what we needed—no distractions, just the beauty of nature all around. It’s well-equipped, but if you’re visiting in cooler weather, knowing how to make a fire is important to stay warm. The surrounding area is great for hiking or relaxing with a book, and the breathtaking views made the stay unforgettable. We left feeling refreshed and more connected to nature. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil experience!

Immaculately clean, efficient, everything is thought of. There were basic necessities that are often overlooked such as aluminum foil or everyday food seasoning, or laundry detergent. Urs provided written instructions on how to use the oven, microwave, multi purpose light switches and other appliances. There was a high chair and many indoor and outdoor games and puzzles to play. There was even a trampoline. We enjoyed driving past the horses and cows of the neighboring homes and the view from the house cannot be captured by photo alone. It was peaceful and serene. Truly a joy to stay at. The owner's dog is also the sweetest and smartest. We enjoyed greeting her as we would come and go. All around lovely stay.

Everything about our stay was great! There were clear check in/out instructions, and we had no problem finding anything! We walked everywhere (max 20ish mins), so the location was good. The host went above and beyond to make our stay as smooth and memorable as possible. You can tell she put a lot of thought for her guests!

Logement propre, fonctionnel, lumineux et agréable: conforme à la description. Emplacement éloigné du centre ville (mais c'était connu). Le parking gratuit est un vrai plus ; Heidi, qui nous accueille, est charmante. Bus gratuit en sus ; un vrai plus.

Der Aufenthalt war absolut empfehlenswert! Wir konnten uns wunderbar erholen und die Zeit in vollen Zügen geniessen – ganz ohne Stress. Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich und alles war genau so, wie beschrieben. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die tolle Kommunikation: Bei Fragen oder Anliegen war Samantha stets schnell, freundlich und hilfsbereit erreichbar. Man hat sich rundum gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nuestra estancia en este alojamiento en Spiez fue simplemente perfecta. El lugar es precioso, impecablemente limpio y cuenta con todas las comodidades necesarias para una estadía cómoda y relajante. Cada detalle del espacio está pensado para hacer sentir como en casa. Además, las vistas son verdaderamente espectaculares, un paisaje que invita a disfrutar cada momento. Sin duda, un lugar al que nos encantaría volver y que recomendamos totalmente.

Was für eine tolles Apartment, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, mit viel Platz in den einzelnen Räumen und einer wunderschönen Aussicht auf die umliegende Umgebung. Es ist ruhig gelegen, man kann gut lüften und hat dadurch auch an heißen Tagen ein tolles Raumklima. Das Apartment ist auch mit ÖV super erreichbar. Die Gastgeberin ist wirklich einzigartig, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir möchten nochmals danke sagen und freuen uns jetzt schon riesig auf den nächsten Aufenthalt.

We had a wonderful stay at Astrid's place. The driving directions were clear and easy to follow, and my Apple Maps matched her instructions perfectly. The home itself exceeded our expectations—it was even better than the pictures! Astrid thoughtfully provided a variety of toys, which our kids absolutely loved. When my wife felt unwell during our stay, Astrid kindly offered some medicine, which we truly appreciated. Her attentiveness and care made our stay especially relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend for families travelling with children

Dave was very helpful. He was there when we got there to help us with baggage and talk with us about great recommendations in the local area. I also messaged him a few times with questions about the area and he got back to me right away. He also came back when we left to help us load our luggage back up. The home was very clean and had beautiful views. Overall an excellent experience.

Im Tiny-House kann man völlig zur Ruhe kommen inmitten der Natur. Die Ortschaft eignet sich auch gut zum Wandern. Man hat alles was man benötigt. Im hofeigenen Laden kann man frische Produkte kaufen. Sehr familiäres Ambiente. Das Frühstück wird von den Gastgebern selber zusammengestellt, sehr lecker!

Wir waren schon zum zweiten mal Gast in dieser wunderschönen Alpenhütte und das sagt wahrscheinlich schon alles! :) Unser erster Aufenthalt in der Vorweihnachtszeit 2023 hätte mit frischem Neuschnee kaum schöner sein können. Auch diesmal Anfang März hatten wir traumhaftes Wetter - noch etwas Schnee, jeden Tag Sonnenschein und blauen Himmel - da können wir uns kaum einen erholsameren Ort als Cortinella vorstellen. Das Alpenpanorama in der Ruhe der Natur und natürlich der Hot Tub sind die Highlights in diesem Urlaubsparadies, wo es uns an nichts gefehlt hat - außer vielleicht genügend Urlaubstagen ;-) Hoffentlich kommen wir bald wieder!

Marc ist ein fantastischer Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist eine typische Schweizer Berghütte mit Tradition was uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen hat. Die Anreise war komfortabel die Hütte ist gut zu erreichen. Danke Marc, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten ein super Männer-Wochenende in der Natur, der Seealpsee ist nicht weit zum wandern, die Küche super ausgestattet zum Kochen. Utensilien sind in der Küche mehr als vorhanden, auch Öle, Gewürze, Backpapier etc. Gemütlicher Kamin und tolle Feuerstelle zum Grillen.

Celine was a great host, among other things she stayed up late when we had train delays to ensure we got checked in okay and she could show us around. Area is beautiful and easy bus links to anywhere you need to go, the guest passes you can get are useful to use. The shared spaces were always pretty clean and tidy. Great place to stay if you want somewhere more private and out of the town centre.

Fabio, was a great host. His rustica is charming and in a fantastic location to escape into the mountains. Excellent entertainment from the neighbouring Marmots, and stunning sunsets. The chalet but has just the right amount of the basics to make it authentic, comfortable and practical. Great, thanks. James

Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit im Chalet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Luana war eine sehr gute Gastgeberin. Die hat stets und sehr schnell auf Anfragen reagiert und war sehr entgegenkommend und hilfreich. Vielen herzlichen Dank Luana :)

The house was exactly what we were looking for, a fully equipped house, in the middle of the mountains. The communication with Roman was easy and fast. We walked to Engelberg pretty much everyday, it is an easy and beautiful path next to the river. We spend one week in Switzerland every year, every-time in a different location, but after these days, we wouldn’t mind coming back next year.
