Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Koocanusa

My wife and I stayed here for one of the best months ever! This place was so amazing, we almost didn't want to leave the property. The house was absolutely spotless, even in areas that usually get overlooked. It was in a very safe and quiet area that felt secluded in nature, but still within about 15 minutes of everything you could need. Brooke and Dallas were super responsive and helpful in case anything came up. There were deer in the yard at times, trout and salmon just off the dock, and a bald eagle would often fly overhead. There are two parks nearby which are great for walking, and of course it's not far from Whitefish or Glacier NP destinations. We want to come back already!

This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood with spectacular views. We loved it so much we extended our stay and are already talking about coming again next year. There is a nice hiking trail right down the road and other hiking and biking trails a short drive away. We were able to kayak right off the pier, although there are a number of stairs you need to take down to the water which was clearly shown in the photos. Brandy was very helpful with local recommendations and immediately responsive to our questions. We had a great week!

Peaceful... Gorgeous views and the perfect place to unwind for a few days. This truly felt like we were guests at a friend's home. Everything was well thought out and accommodating. I highly recommend it!!

We had a group of 7 (3 kids and 4 adults) and we found ourselves so comfortable at Nicholas’ place! I have never been to a CLEANER AirBnb and the beds were all super comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet and cozy. It was truly a perfect landing spot after our adventures horseback riding, fishing, glacier and a rodeo! We had the best time in Montana and this home was a big reason why. Thanks so much for the wonderful accommodations!

Mark is an exceptional host who made our stay truly enjoyable. His communication was excellent, and he ensured we had everything we needed throughout our visit. The house was ideal for our large family gathering—spacious, comfortable, and equipped with thoughtful amenities. We loved the serene beauty of the Abayance Marina, which offered a peaceful setting and the convenience of renting water toys on-site. The availability of canoes and bikes at the house was a fantastic bonus, adding to the overall experience. Highly recommend staying here!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mark's place. The house was clean, organized, and everything we might need was well thought out and available to us. Mark and his wife were so friendly and helpful, respecting our privacy and yet extremely helpful to accommodate us and to make us feel at home. We felt and were treated as part of an extended family. The location was perfect. Fabulous view of the lake and mountains, so peaceful and serene with gorgeous flowers and plenty of wildlife all around the premises. The beds were comfortable with a large bathroom. The kitchen was spacious with ample room for many people in the kitchen with all up-to-date appliances and kitchenware. The washer and dryer were also very appreciated. I would highly recommend this house for anyone's future visit to Somers, Montana. We do plan to return next year. Thank you to Mark and his family for a wonderful visit to Montana.

Our stay at Suzanne and Mari’s was lovely, from the delicious homemade chocolate birthday cake for our granddaughter, to the beautiful garden complete with some visiting deer. We loved every minute.

What a fabulous place to stay in Whitefish. The host, Stephanie, communicated right from the start and followed up during our stay. I had to amend my original booking and Stephanie was great, nothing was a problem. Such a positive and friendly person. The studio is beautiful and wants for nothing. Super clean and well appointed. The location is right on the lake and adjacent to the walk/bike path into town. We didn’t use our car in the evenings, just walked to get dinner. You’ll wish you lived there. Completely turn key. Don’t need to say much about Whitefish that has been said already. An abundance of outdoor activities with such a minimal human footprint. I’ve stayed at a few other Airbnb’s. This lakeside studio is what they should all aspire to.

We had a girls weekend getaway in Sandpoint. This was the perfect location with restaurants and cute shops all within walking distance. And, it was so spacious in the accommodation—room to spread out and relax in different spaces. As others have mentioned in reviews, there’s noise from trains and from cars in front of the building, and a little bit of light music coming from the restaurant downstairs. Nothing that bothered us or would keep us from wanting to stay here again. All in all, a great place to stay and tastefully renovated old building.

Whitefish lake and the downtown are a fantastic place to spend time while visiting Glacier National. Crystal made very good suggestions for everything we were interested in. we cannot wait to visit again, and stay longer.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bruce and Kelly’s place! It was very private and easy to get to with beautiful views of the lake. The place itself was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely come again if we were in the area!

This was the perfect getaway for my husband and I! It was so peaceful and quiet. Looked exactly like the pictures. Was one of the cleanest Airbnb’s I’ve ever been to. Had stainless steel pots/pans and coziest furniture. Kayaks were awesome!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a fantastic stay at Ryan's house by the lake! The property was peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. Waking up to the view of the water every morning was a dream. The house had everything we needed — from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy beds and thoughtful touches throughout. Ryan was a great host — responsive, helpful, and respectful of our privacy. Whether relaxing on the deck, enjoying the lake, or just sitting by the fire-pit in the evening, this place gave us the perfect mix of comfort and nature. My mom and I celebrated our birthday weekend with our family and had the most wonderful time at the cabin. Lindsey's cabin was the perfect place to reflect and soak in the beautiful view of the mountains and lake. We spent hours just sitting on the couch looking through the the windows at the gorgeous view. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals for our long weekend. We drove to Safeway one afternoon for anything else we wanted and it was a short drive. I'm so glad for the clear directions about getting into the driveway and all the other household details written on the fridge. I didn't need to reach out for anything. Towels and toiletries were provided and we enjoyed the hot tub while looking at the lake one afternoon. There were dog hairs on the sofa and throws. It wasn't a big deal and understandably could be from pets of other guests. I do wish this wasn't the case and this would be the only thing that could be improved.

The place itself is amazing, the lake is right there for you to enjoy and Aita left all the tools you need to do so which is very much welcome! We had a lot of fun, exploring nearby areas as well not just the lake However, a word of caution and I know this is probably outside the host’s control is that the neighbours from the big white house just before Aita’s place can be very loud and not considerate of others trying to enjoy it The houses are very close to each other and a couple of the nights that neighbour was operating some machines, maybe an ATV? Snowmobile? Not sure but it was extremely loud and woke us all up at 11pm Moreover their dog kept coming after our dogs, which are protective of their place of sleep, so we couldn’t enjoy the lake with our dogs because they were bigger and we were afraid of something bad happening Also they used Aita’s tools without even knowing who was the owner, I know because they asked if I was the owner (??) when giving the boat back

Mike is a terrific host—thorough and clear w instructions, proactive, friendly—and his place suited our needs beautifully (convenient to Schweitzer ski resort, which exceeded our expectations!) :) A truly memorable mid-winter ski break w my 17 yr-old twins thanks in large part to Mike and his wonderful accommodations!

Great little cottage perfect for a small family. Jocelyn was very proactive about communicating if we had any needs. The one note is that the cottage is very close to the road but the air conditioning is excellent and covers up any noise if you use it.
