Nery was very friendly and it was easy to communicate with him at all times. My family had a great time in Livingston and Nery was flexible with meeting at the dock and arranged for transport to the house. If ever back in Livingston, would not hesitate to rent again with Nery.

The place is very cozy, there is a lot of nature and it makes the stay very relaxing, without noise and the view of the lake is very nice, it is very safe, the hosts were attentive to answer our questions. The place is the same as the photos.

Absolutely perfect place to stay. You will not miss the touch of Guatemala that you need to be able to enjoy even though it is completely private. Livingston is a Q20 boat ride away to be able to access everything you need. Perfectly located property at the mouth of the canyon of Rio dulce. I’ve never been to a more beautiful place in my life. The people In charge of the property were honest and very helpful. No pushing around or trying to dig money out of us. 100% recommend to anybody that is looking to have the time of their life.

Karl and Ursala’s cabin was exactly what we were looking for; a secluded destination surrounded by nature and a warm community. As mentioned by the hosts and previous reviews, the location is remote yet the drive to get there is actually quite beautiful and part of the adventure. Karl provided detailed instructions for arriving and we had no issues and the people on site were very responsive. We recommend Maira’s fish dinner and had a great time using the kayak, swimming off the dock and taking walks on the pebbled paths. Hope to be back soon!

julio and his family are amazing helpfull people who will go the extra mile to make sure you can navigate the Rio Dulce. Please keep in mind to ask Julio questions about how to get there and how collectivo lanchas work or you may find yourself hiring a private boat for much more expensive. If I know how beautiful this place would be I would have spent 2 weeks here!
