Vacation rentals in Lake Hauroko

Penny was a wonderful host and easy to reach during the stay, we needed assistance at one point and she swiftly arranged someone to come and help. The house is on the lake and we all enjoyed being able to relax in a warm and comfortable house. Penny also put in the extra mile and provided items for my little nieces and extra plates etc for an evening with extended family, which made our family holiday all that more special. And everyone had a amazing time Couldn’t recommend this Airbnb enough!

Excellent location close to town, easy walking distance to everything. We loved having a fire to warm ourselves after tramping for several days. Beautiful garden, spacious and relaxing kitchen/dining/lounge. Top notch AirBnB.

This house was even better than the photos. Was meticulous/spotless. Has everything you could need and great value for money. I can normally find fault with anything, but couldn’t at this place…I even checked under couch squabs for crumbs, but perfectly clean. Very well thought out and friendly responses to all communication.

Paddy was very helpful and always respond back our message. The place is just nice for us to stopover, the location is just right for us-as we planned to travel to Milford Sound the following day. BUT!!!! it turned out that the place is more than stopover!! Location is great, easy to access and find with clear instruction we received. We could not thank you our host, Paddy evermore to be parted of our wonderful memories with family. This was our first oversea trip together and Te Anua make us feel like we want to come back for more. Paddy also provides list of places and restaurants nearby for us which are very good :) Thank you again for a wonderful place to share. We hope that we could come back here again!!

Beautiful Home, throughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect for families with having 2 living areas/lounges. Plenty of space to relax, great indoor outdoor flow. Couldnt have found a better place if we tried. We will definitely be back again.

The living room is very comfy, feels like home. They open the heater for us when we check in so the house is really warm. The kitchen is big with full equipment to be use. There is separate laundry room from the main house, so you can sleep very well. The bathroom look better than in the picture and it actually big. My family love your place a lots.

Perfect place to stay for a group of friends. Home was very modern - well appointed had everything we needed. Very clean and tidy
