Private suite vacation rentals in Lake Hartwell

Margaret and Bill were very welcoming and treated me like a friend first day. They were kind and invited me to dinner with friends. I felt safe and cared for. I would stay again if ever in the area. I really enjoyed being met by her dog when I would get home from work 😉 thank you Margaret.

Our stay in Allen and Heidi's guest house was fantastic. We were in town to attend our son's graduation from Clemson and their place is a little over 20 minutes from campus so the location was convenient. The house and property are beautiful, and we loved sitting out on the patio and strolling out on the dock to enjoy the view. The guest house accommodated our party of six comfortably. Thank you Heidi and Allen for going above and beyond to make our special occasion even more memorable.

The property n host were amazing. It is quiet, secluded & deep in the woods with a million dollar view - exactly what we wanted. We got there late after dark and it was challenging navigating somewhere new for the first time. GPS/WiFi is spotty until you get to the house so make sure u load directions before leaving the city with a cell signal. This can easily be overlooked when searching several properties on the Air B&B - 1) this rental is on the first floor, pass through the Ground-level second floor porch and go down the back steps - and 2) the house has everything you’d ever need except for an oven/stove (if you planned on cooking). Cathy has done a wonderful job decorating - and the homemade loaf of pumpkin bread makes it one of a kind rental. Oh and finally, we bought some bird food at the store and put it on the top of the deck railing - the colorful birds came non-stop and fully entertained my mother-in-law while sitting out on the back deck.

We had a fun weekend- beautiful area with so much to do. If you are fit would recommend the hike to the Tallulah gorge floor- (two river crossings on this hike and a very steep climb out). Anna Ruby falls beautiful and Helen is a cute town (a tad touristy). Cabin was so cute and well stocked- very comfortable. I loved the pond with the little waterfall- the sound of the running water was so pleasant from the porch. Cell service a bit patchy but we were able to get it from the loft area.

We loved staying in the private one bedroom/one bath apartment in Janet’s home. Our stay was comfortable and easy. We had our own entrance and private patio to enjoy. Her home is at the end of the road and surrounded in trees and solitude and also only a short drive to amazing hikes. Janet is a super woman and wealth of knowledge having traveled and hiked all over the US and the world. Tap into her knowledge before you venture out on a trail. We look forward to seeing her again.

Had a wonderful time! Great place, quiet and serene. Our lab swam for hours. We floated along side her. Couldn’t ask for better :)

For anyone visiting the Seneca region, this accommodation is a must-stay! The relaxing atmosphere and stunning aesthetics exceeded my expectations, even surpassing the online photos. Due to the hosts' meticulous attention to detail, I immediately felt at home. The modern design was spot-on, and the entire space felt incredibly fresh and clean (I wish my home looked this way). A truly perfect experience! Plus the lake and the outdoor space is a dream! Seriously... you have to book this place! I will be back!

Very nice basement den , super clean, with full kitchen and outside area to relax . Private entry , completely privacy from the family. Very nice people, easy to communicate with !

Carolyn had a warm inviting space for people and for our dog. The place was spotless! This host went above and beyond accommodating for our group! We appreciate the kindness and hospitality. And our dog loved the amazing backyard to run and play.

Best air B&B stay we have ever had in Highlands. The place was great and Julie thought of everything that a visitor to Highlands would want. We will look to their place first on future visits.

My family loved the place. The pool was incredible. We had a ton of fun over the weekend. Swimming, playing pool, and we made a fire in the fire pit and made s’mores. Communication was excellent and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay! This place is peaceful and secluded in a nice residential neighborhood, but is within a few minutes drive of casual restaurants and basic shopping. This garage apartment was very clean and well-decorated; it looks exactly like the photos and is well-stocked with everything you might need. Although the owner’s family was on the property, we rarely heard them. Andrew was friendly and responsive to messages, but also respected our space. I would come back!

My 3rd stay here. Nice accommodations. Very nice space, with friendly hosts. Exceptionally clean. Drinks and snacks were provided, which was thoughtful. On a beautiful part of Lake Hartwell. Bring your pole! Close to Hartwell and Lavonia.

We stayed at Richard's place while in town for our daughter's graduation from Clemson. We needed a place for multiple family members who came with us. This property is beautiful and peaceful, with gorgeous, peaceful views. It feels like you are in a treehouse. The interior has everything you could need - everything is new, clean, well maintained, and in excellent condition. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are new and lovely, and the kitchen is well-appointed. Definitely a lovely experience. Richard was a great communicator and we had all the info we needed.

My family and I were in the area for my grandson’s graduation from Clemson University. We met our host, Bill, just after arriving. He was very friendly and helpful. The suite facing the lake was beautiful! We really enjoyed our time there and wished we had more time to enjoy the amenities. We would love to stay there again in the future.

Fork in the Road Too was the perfect size for a quick weekend to Greenville to see our daughter at Furman. clean, comfortable and relaxing.

The place was very relaxing, quiet and peaceful. It was more than we expected and fishing off the pier was fun. Everyone we met was very friendly. We can't wait to go back.

A great place - we really enjoyed the stay. The unit was just as expected. It is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Joe and Shirley are responsive hosts and very kind. We would definitely stay again!

We had a downright delightful time at Jean‘s place. We especially loved sittin’ out on the boat dock, just gazin’ at the water of Lake Hartwell or watchin’ the deer nibblin’ on the grass in the mornin’ and evenin’ hours. Wilma Jean‘s house has everythin’ you could need. Jean herself is just the sweetest, and it was a real joy to spend time with her. We’ll surely be back for more!

Rachel’s place was perfect! It was nice and private, quiet and had all the amenities that we needed and then some! She was very responsive throughout the booking and stay.. I would highly recommend Rachel’s place for anyone visiting Clemson!
