Lake side house rentals in Lake Hartwell

We came up to the upstate from Summerville for the weekend to attend the Clemson Carolina game. It was a beautiful spot and easy easy to get to and from. We will keep this sweet little cabin on our list. Thankful we found you.

Very relaxing location, and cozy house

The house was comfortable and quiet. The view of the lake was well worth the money particularly at dusk when the sun would sparkle across the rippling water. The kitchen was well-appointed but could have used some coffee filters or coffee supplies; however, the host had left bottled water in the fridge. The bathroom lavatory faucets needed attention. Overall, the home was as presented, the neighborhood was quiet, the location was convenient to town, and we had a great stay.

Definitely 5++ star review. Everything we needed was already there. Best experience with Airbnb yet. Our family enjoyed everything Hardystone had to offer. We never had to turn on a TV because there were so many activities to keep everyone entertained. From Ping Pong and Pool Tournaments to Paddle Boarding to S’mores by the fire! We will most definitely rent through this group again!

I am a consultant working on a project here in Hartwell and stayed at Dan's place for 4 months. Dan is an absolutely amazing host. He is communicative, attentive, and ALWAYS very quick to respond. The place is beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable. I had no issues feeling at home the entire time I was staying here. I will look to book here first when I come back to Hartwell later this year. Our family had a pleasant stay in this cozy home! It was clean and inviting. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and all the pretty string lights. The kids loved sleeping up in the loft. It was bigger than expected! We loved it and would come back again!

This is a cozy place that I enjoyed staying at for spring break with my son. This location by lake is peaceful and serene. The kitchen is well-equipped for preparing meals, which is advisable since there are no nearby restaurants.

Art was quick to respond when we had any questions.the house was clean and had a good feel to it . The view from the deck is nice, really enjoyed our morning coffee there. Easy to get out to the lake , the chairs at the fire pit by the water is a plus. We would definitely book again!

We rented for our son's wedding in Clayton. The place was fabulous - lovely, quiet, everything we needed. The covered porch and views were the absolute best! Host was extremely responsive, super helpful, and very accommodating! We would highly recommend!

This house was amazing. It was very clean and we all felt right at home as soon as we walked in. It's well-furnished and the layout allows for both group settings as well as privacy. The views from the back of the house overlook the lake and provide for incredible and peaceful views. Be sure to open the curtains at night for the master bedroom so you can view the water and the stars on a clear night before waking up to the beautiful sights of the lake in the morning. The driveway allowed for three vehicles to easily park without having to move cars around when someone needed to leave. There was still easily room for more vehicles if necessary though that would require planning for coming and going. One guest that came with me spent a day working on the screened-in part of the upstairs back porch and raved about it being the best place to work between the comfort and the relaxing views. I would definitely stay here again! Great host and great house!

Pat was extremely communicative and the home fit our family of 10 perfectly. There are 2 large bedrooms on the main level, one, a King with small private bath and the other, a queen bed with large private bathroom. There were 2 additional full baths on the main level as well. The kitchen was extra large, very well stocked and accommodated our large family! There is an oversized family room with lots of seating and a bar area too! The family room off the kitchen faces the back deck and the lake and I enjoyed lots of time there reading books to my Grand baby. The back deck was oversized and the home literally sits on Lake Hartwell ! The back dock was a nice bonus as was the hot tub! The downstairs does have some steep stairs so I wouldn't advise elderly people sleeping down there. However, you will find a full bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a third bedroom/bonus/flex space with 2 full beds. We loved our family time there celebrating our daughter's wedding! We can't wait to go back!

This is our third time staying here, and we have loved it every time! We always enjoy our stay, and we cannot wait to come back again next year! The house and views are absolutely breathtaking, and we love downtown Clayton so much!

We loved this house! Not only was it a short walk down to the dock, but the home had everything you need for a wonderful stay. My kids loved the fire pit & game room. We will definitely be back!

This was my second stay at this lovely home because I liked it so much the first time. As long as my family is in the area and I haven’t moved to the area, I’ll stay again if it’s available!

Sunsets and Siestas was fantastic! Alan and Sylvia were responsive and friendly leading up to and during our stay. The home was very well equipped with furnishings, bedding, etc. The kitchen was a huge success. We were amazed at how many amenities were in the kitchen. We cooked everyday and the kitchen was well appointed with dual ovens and many other great features and appliances. The new Weber grill outside was also a great added feature! Our entire family of 16 had plenty of space to enjoy the house, pool, boat dock, and outdoor fireplace/hot tub area! I highly recommend Sunsets and Siestas! Lake Keowee and the entire area is full of outdoor adventures and fun for all ages.
