Cabin vacation rentals in Lake George

We really enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was clean, charming and welcoming, and check-in was clear and easy. We loved the serene location and beautiful view of the lake. The cabin had everything we needed to cook meals and stay comfortable. Would recommend and would stay here again!

We enjoyed a nice long weekend stay at Carolyn's cozy Adirondack cabin. She is a great host - very welcoming and communicative. The space is perfect for two couples or a family. The view of the lake from the master bedroom is spellbinding. Would love to come back when the snow is gone and the leaves are on the trees!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin on Lake George. The space was spotless, thoughtfully appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The view of the lake was absolutely stunning — it was the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or unwind in the evening. Derek was warm, responsive, and incredibly gracious, making sure we felt right at home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in a gorgeous setting.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cosy cabin. The view and the ambience were worth taking the trip here. A slight annoyance was that the stove was pretty noisy, and without it, the house cooled down quickly.

This is my family's second stay at Jeff's listing. It is our absolute favorite trip we now look forward to taking each year. The house is even more beautiful and peaceful in person than in the photos. Jeff was extremely responsive and accommodating. The house was spotless upon check in and had all the amenities we could ever want/need. I can't wait to come back!

We stayed at this cabin as a weekend getaway, Henry made us feel right at home! Everything we needed was provided and the place was spotless. Such an amazing experience, the scenery was absolutely stunning and it was very private. Henry was genuinely one of the nicest people I’ve met and I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at this beautiful cabin!

We’ve been coming to Schroon for 18 years, so have a lot of experience with cabin rentals in the area. The outdoor space at Sally’s is stunning, with sunsets that never got old! Though the property is just off the road, it was quiet and very private, as the front of the cabin and outdoor space face the pristine shoreline. The cabin is rustic and cozy in all the good ways, & the beds are so, SO comfortable! We cooked most of our meals in, which made it nice to have such a beautiful view from the kitchen window. The Adirondack Store is within walking/biking distance, which made it fun to dine in for breakfast before heading out for a day of hiking/mountain biking/fishing/ADK Extreme/exploring. Whatever our daytime activities were, we made sure to back at the cabin to cook, take an evening swim & view the gorgeous sunsets. There were a few household mishaps beyond our host’s control, but she maintained good communication, promptly addressing the issues. We hope to stay here again!

I booked this trip for my husband’s birthday. It was centered around snowboarding and we were happy it was close to Killington, Pico and Stratton. The house itself was well thought out and there were instructions to everything which took the guesswork out of using the spaces. Would definitely stay again

Danielle was awesome to work with and you can tell she takes pride in her beautifully decorated home. We hosted family in that area on a beautiful Saturday and the kitchen was so well equipped for everything we needed to do a taco bar. We all enjoyed the porch for dinner and socializing and it was perfect. Had the weather not been good, the inside would have been just as inviting and spacious. The beds are extremely comfortable and it's nice having a TV in every room to enjoy when settling in for the night. It's so private but close enough to Manchester and Dorset to enjoy the wonderful shopping and eateries. The home is so cozy and clean inside and out. And the hot tub was definitely a bonus while enjoying our morning coffee with a spectacular view. There is only one downfall.....we didn't want to leave! This place is definitely added to my favorites and we will be going back.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was quiet, but close enough to town that we could pick up a few things at the local convenience store. There was plenty to do at the house, and we had easy access to everything we wanted. We pretty much just showed up, followed the instructions, and that was it. We’d stay here again.

Very nice place, convenient location and nice amenities. There were ants coming through the back of the house and there weren’t any cleaning supplies (i.e. brooms) but it was a great place nonetheless.

Hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had! Everything was perfect and pictures do not do this place justice. We own a camp down the road that is on the lake and we were there to work on it - we stayed at the riverbend while we were there (no heat or water at our camp yet). I did not except to fall in love with this spot so much- but it was simply one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I have ever stayed - I actually prefer it to being on the lake!

Awesome host! No wonder they are considered a super-host. Such a wonderful cabin with plenty to do, especially if your plans are contingent on the weather. We got rained out so our excursions were limited but we loved all the chalet had to offer. Thank you so much Uzma!

We fell in love with the cabin and area. Our larger family does a snowboarding trip every year and while we try to go to different places we all loved Shannon's home, Gore mountain and the local surrounding towns. We are already planning a return. The home was impeccably furnished, squeaky clean and had a ton of activities to do, inside and out. It was so lovable it was tough to leave.

A really awesome place, ideal for relaxing and get energized without external distractions ! Limited network depending on your carrier, which was exactly what we were looking for! A bit chilly in mid October - as advertised - but Pam made everything to make sure we were comfortable ! I am pretty sure I will come back! Lots to do in terms of hiking, and activities in the cities nearby

Stayed here with a large group for a ski trip. Only was here one night but was everything we needed.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday and we felt right at home. It was so cozy, the walk down to the brook was magical and we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again in the future! Also the queen bed was very comfy!

I have ties to this beautiful lake and feel fortunate for the opportunity to stay at Buttercup. While the camp was built many years ago and still has the original camp charm, it has many updates. ("old school" husband got a kick out of Alexa) It was very comfortable for eight people. There is no A/C but John does have fans. We also brought some of our own, and luckily temps dropped back into the high 70's - mid 80's, so we really didn't need/use all of them. We all loved fishing from the dock and kayaks. The steps down, so you can walk into the lake are great (especially for older people), and not all places have that feature. We cooked dinners 3 times while there, and I can't think of anything that wasn't there to do so. I think the only notable thing (for us) is the parking. The gravel driveway is a little hard to see and go down.( for us flatlanders from FL) There is a parking area at the side of the road by the garage where we parked and let our son from TN park downhill Thanks

Great space. Great view of the lake. We stayed on a rainy April weekend so we didn’t get a full feel of the area, but the boathouse was clean and cozy, and we enjoyed our time. Got to hear a loon on Saturday morning - a rare treat for us. Christine was a great host. All instructions were clear and communicated in a timely manner. We didn’t need much while we were there, but she got back to us quickly when we did. One thing to note is the tap water (presumably well?) has a taste to it we didn’t like, but Christine left some bottled water in the fridge to get us started (and some muffins 🥰 - thank you!) and we picked up some more to keep us going. Not really a problem, but just a heads up for future guests.

I can’t say enough how thoughtful Mark and his family were in digging my car out of the snow after GPS directed me past Marks cabin which was thoroughly plowed. Wonderful and kind people. Old school bare bones cabin perfect for a peaceful night before heading to High Peaks for hiking.

Mary's home was everything we hoped for. Her property was beautiful and serene. Stepping out into the back yard every morning to view the river over a hot cup of coffee was a wonderful way to start each day. There were many water activities available on the property for us to enjoy such as kayaks, tubes, and canoes, but it was also very cozy and relaxing enough just to sit in the yard and just enjoy the property. Firewood was also available. Everything we needed was already at the house (even board games), and the house was clean and tidy. Mary was available for any questions, if needed. My family and I plan on returning to Mary's property in the future. We are very thankful to have found Mary's place.
